25/07/2024: It was the last day of our business trip and we were dying to get out of Rome and head to tivoli. We were quite disappointed with the food we had in Rome, so we came to look for an authentic Italian dinner. For only 50€ we had the most amazing and beautiful plated menu. The restaurant is a very cute intimate space where the chef makes the dishes for you himself. You really feel his whole heart put into all of the dishes. A lovely older Nona serves all the courses to you and it truly feels as though you have been welcomed into the home of the local Italians and fed a home cooked meal. As an Italian myself, it really felt like I was being welcomed into my relatives home. The pasta dish was so deeply satisfying. The whole experience was so authentic, yet also very innovative without taking away the essence and purity of Italian cuisine. It was all very simple and very just. Well done! Come and check out this restaurant, if you don’t want a tasting menu you can also order à la carte, but I highly recommend the tasting menu! Also the chef seems to be very open to working with dietary restrictions, we don’t have any but he definitely asked and would have worked around it.

24/08/2024: We ate here twice while staying at Hotel Hiberia next door. Lovely food, good wine selection and very friendly staff. The restaurant also does the Hotel Hiberia breakfast service.

18/08/2024: Locale elegante a due passi dal Quirinale, camerieri gentili e professionali, pizza e supplì ottimi, prezzo molto accessibile per il posto in cui si trova. (Supplì, pizza e bibita €20 a persona).

11/12/2024: Our worst experience in Rome since it's not enough that the portions were relatively small, he almost forcibly brought us individual bruschetta and lemoncello infusion with a charge per person of 17 euros. Without of course it is written anywhere. Ok, I understand, exploitation of tourists, but not like that! Shame, and let them speak to us in Greek, and thank you, and sweet words!

09/12/2024: Good but not great, friendly staff, good pizza, very good gluten-free pasta. The panna cotta was less good, in my opinion it's not worth the asking price but that's it. It remains a recommended place

07/12/2024: Excellent pizza, light and digestible dough, excellent seasoning, a good pizza even when cold!! The wait at the table is enlivened by a nice package of strips of hot white pizza!!! Good choice of wines and light bill!!! Well done!!

04/12/2024: Given that we are frequenters of the place, and we have always had a good time. Except for the last time, we heard the older waitress handing over the service of our table to the other one, who completely abandoned us and served us with an air of arrogance. I find the behavior inappropriate for professionals. Not to see each other again.

27/11/2024: This restaurant is truly a special place! It has different dining salons, furnished with authentic vintage furniture. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The venue is limited but it has something for everyone. The bathroom was clean. I recommend it!

We were there on my birthday and, in conspiracy with my husband, she organized a cake with a candle and sang a hundred years. We will definitely come back ❤️

02/12/2024: Spesso in questi luoghi ci facciamo obnubilare da piatti dove l’aspetto del cibo con la descrizione di ingredienti ricercati e preparazioni altisonanti, prende il sopravvento sul reale gusto degli stessi e il vero piacere che ne si trae. E in una sorta di autosuggestione si fa una valutazione distorta, influenzati più dai fattori esterni piuttosto a quello che c’è veramente nel piatto. Qui in verità ho mangiato il peggiore primo, non dei ristoranti stellati, non dei ristoranti della guida, non dei ristoranti consigliati su Tripadvisor, ma di tutti i ristoranti in generale; gli spaghettini cotti nel ristretto di calamari con totani al basilico con un gusto tra l’amaro e il bruciato. Terribili. Spero sia stato solo un errore nella preparazione altrimenti sarebbe preoccupante. L’altra portata che ho provato è stata la ricciola in cevice con caviale Kaluga e sedano. Piatto ordinario senza alcun viaggio sensoriale. Altra nota dolente il sommelier in sala, evidentemente impreparato. Due portate a testa insoddisfacenti e una bottiglia di rosè siciliano niente di che, saltando il dolce che non era il caso, 335 € in quattro. Salvo la location interna e in parte il servizio ma per il resto ampiamente deludente.

10/11/2024: Location elegante e arredata con cura anche nei dettagli. Personale gentile ed efficiente. Servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo scelto il menu' degustazione ed e' stato un bel viaggio ...sensoriale e per sensoriale intendo vista, olfatto e gusto. Dall'effetto della 'finta' stella marina servita in apertura ai produmi ed esplosione di sapori di piatti solo apparentemente 'normali'. L'unica cosa che ci ha un po' infastiditi.... il cambio prima del dessert. Se posso capire il cambio dei tovaglioli non capisco quello dei bicchieri soprattutto senza segnalarlo prima al tavolo e dopo aver riempito poco prima di acqua tutti i 'precedenti' bicchieri. Non si ratta della bottiglia di acqua in piu' sul conto ma con l'attenzione che tutti dobbiamo mettere al tema 'acqua' per il 'nostro' pianeta ho trovato questo 'spreco' veramente ingiustificato e non di buon gusto.

29/08/2024: In my humble opinion, far too much hype. Food and location certainly above average but nothing "spectacular". The sore point is the service which lacks empathy and the necessary preparation (if I ask the waiter what a dish is made up of he can't tell me he doesn't know...) Good value for money.

11/12/2024: Location esclusiva con vista mozzafiato affaccio su piazza del popolo ,ma praticamente si vede quasi tutta Roma, che dire cucina stellata ,un appuntamento unico da non perdere anche per grandi sventi come il 31 di dicembre (cenone di capodanno ), magari benissimo in ogni momento dell'anno. Vedere per credere.

22/11/2024: Wonderful but only by taxi, on foot or if you are lucky and have the ZTL permit. Located one step away from the most beautiful terrace in Rome where you pay nothing at the Pincio to see all the beauty. What a thrill to still see the Puppet Theater, closed but it evokes in me the nostalgic memory of beautiful walks in a magical Villa Borghese park where I went almost every Sunday.
