31/07/2025: Highly recommended place. We ate practically alone because of the time. Excellent food. The waitress was attentive, and the dishes were extraordinary. Two pasta dishes, a rack of ribs to share, and two drinks for €60. The place is beautiful, and the background music is pleasant.

I noticed the owner's somewhat rigid attitude toward the waiter, which was unpleasant. But other than that, the experience was really pleasant. I would gladly return!

The service was very friendly and attentive, and despite the communication issues, it was hilarious. Honestly, it's the best restaurant in Rome and probably the only one that doesn't cheat its customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

05/08/2025: The best restaurant in Rome. I came from Poland with my family, even though we had suitcases and caused a bit of a stir, the staff treated us with respect and kindness. The food was delicious, absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend it! As a tourist, I've never been treated so well. I can definitely recommend anyone visiting Rome to visit! It's a shame you're closed now, because I would come every day. Best regards.

Il proprietario ci accoglie con garbo e gentilezza, ci fa preparare un'ottima pasta, beviamo acqua a volontà, anche del vino, caffè, tutto in un'atmosfera piacevolissima e in un contesto ambientale accogliente, paghiamo anche con bancomat separati, il tutto a un prezzo inatteso (positivamente parlando). 01/08/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I had a wonderful dining experience at Ristorante Tema in Rome. I ordered the lobster pasta, and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced between the fresh seafood flavor and the rich pasta sauce. I paired it with a glass of Italian white wine (unfortunately, I don’t remember the name), which complemented the dish perfectly. As a kind gesture after the meal, they offered me two traditional Italian liqueurs: • Limoncello with its refreshing lemon flavor • Agricanto Paladin, a unique cherry, almond, and vanilla liqueur The service was excellent, and the warm, cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in Rome.

30/07/2025: There was a Japanese menu and Japanese-speaking staff, so I was able to order with confidence. It's close to Termini Station, so it's easy to access, and everything was delicious, so I was very satisfied.

06/08/2025: We stayed for about 7 days in Rome and really struggled in finding a good and nice place to eat without any hidden fees or any waiter trying to get you more bread to charge, but Al Forno della Soffitta was extremely great. The waiters were very friendly and accomodating with foreigners, they loved helping you pair your food with wine and the service overall was great. We only had pasta and pizza from this place because they were that good, but I saw they have some nice lunch menus that are available if you request them. We ate here 3 times and would have gone there more if we found it sooner.

29/04/2025: My son and his wife chose Villa Battistini for their wedding celebration. A fabulous decision. It's a beautiful building, impeccably maintained just like its grounds, in a stunning countryside location. Those things don't make a wedding party special though. It's the people who cooked and served the quality and quantity of food at Villa Battistini that made it an incredibly special day. Amazing array of antipasti choices (that could easily have been a full meal in itself for all 65 of us), followed by two pasta dishes I would say are the best I ever had, then a main of perfectly cooked rolled sea bass in a herb crust. The light as a feather and delicious wedding cake would alone have been a fitting end to a splendid meal, but the dessert buffet served alongside was not just a thing of beauty, like the antipasti it covered every kind you might imagine, each of which was a delight to eat. All this was delivered with the efficiency you'd expect from such a pristine venue, but also with warmth and care from every person who works there. Luckily we haven't left Italy to return home yet. If there's a day they don't have a wedding before we go, we will make sure we return for a restaurant meal. Utterly perfect in every way.

02/08/2025: Beautiful atmosphere, super kind and helpful staff, a truly Roman atmosphere. I had a great time; I found a seat right away, and the service was very fast. Clean and quiet, almost elegant (though I went in very shabby). Spotlessly clean bathrooms. I've attached my receipt to show how much better the quality is than the price. Very cheap for the delicious food (the carbonara dish).

02/07/2025: If someone asked me where to find the worst pasta in the world, I’d probably say here. The pasta we had was incredibly bad — after just a couple of bites, I couldn’t eat any more. Honestly, how do you manage to serve such terrible pasta right in the heart of Italy? If you truly want to enjoy pasta or pizza in Italy, avoid the touristy central spots like this one. Instead, look for more humble, local places tucked away in the side streets. They usually offer better food, more authentic service, and fairer prices. Here, not only was the quality disappointing, but the service also felt arrogant and careless — and on top of that, it was more expensive than average.
