15/04/2026: Bar San Marcello is a lovely little coffee stop near the Trevi Fountain, and it works especially well for an early morning walk before the area fills up with tourists. I ordered 2 cappuccinos and 1 pastry, and the whole bill came to just 8.50 euros, which felt like excellent value for central Rome. The cappuccinos were smooth, creamy, and well balanced, with a rich flavour that made them easy to enjoy. The pastry was fresh and light, with just the right amount of sweetness to go with the coffee. What I liked most was the atmosphere: calm, local, and unpretentious, with quick service and a relaxed pace that made the stop feel easy and genuine. It is the kind of place you can pop into for a simple breakfast without spending too much time or money, yet still walk away feeling satisfied. Being so close to the Trevi Fountain makes it even better, because you can grab a coffee here and continue straight into one of Rome’s most iconic areas. For a straightforward, affordable, and pleasant start to the day, Bar San Marcello is a solid choice and a spot I would happily return to again.

31/03/2026: We dined at this restaurant for the first time on Saturday evening. As soon as we entered, we were greeted very professionally by both Stefano and the dining room staff. The location is beautiful and elegant, the menu is extensive, and the wine list rivals that of a Michelin-starred restaurant. All the dishes are excellent, with superb quality ingredients. The prices are in line with the quality of the food, and the portions are generous. The desserts are delicious and all homemade. Stefano was truly invaluable in his wine selection, which he recommended after seeing our dishes. We will definitely be dining at this restaurant again soon. Congratulations, keep up the good work.

If you leave a bad review, the boss will say, 'You've never been here.' Most of the reviews in this restaurant are false reviews with fake accounts. Take a look. My wife and I had dinner here in May 2023. That night was terrible. This is due to several reasons below. 1. There was a lipstick stain on the cup we received. 2. We ordered a salad, but the fries came out. After all the menus were served, when the salad did not come out, we asked the employee, who said that fries were served instead of salad. So I asked him to take the fries back, but the employee told me to just eat it. 3. We didn't eat French fries because we didn't order them. But when we paid, the employee asked us if we would even pay for the fries.We refused to pay for the fries, and the employee's attitude got cold. 4.I left a review of this employee's attitude with 3 stars, but the owner of this restaurant left me bad words and insulting comments. 01/05/2026: The waitresses were the real highlight of the evening, very kind and attentive! Excellent service, and they even took off the bill a pappardelle with wild boar that I didn't eat (I reordered another first course). Unfortunately, the meal wasn't good. The owner of our B&B had advised against it, citing a change of management, but having found it in the osteria guide, we decided to try it anyway. We would have done better to listen to him.

04/05/2026: Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. This is the answer to the question, "What is an Italian restaurant?" It's more of a casual, laid-back place. I tried the Tonnarello ai funghi porcini and it was delicious. I also had the opportunity to drink a glass of their local wine; I'm not sure if the acidity increased as I drank it or as it sat :) It was a pleasant evening.
