09/08/2025: Il Pirata del Porto: the pasta was a bit of a challenge, but the sauce was a real treat A Pearl of the Sea in the Heart of Bologna I had the opportunity to dine at the "Il Pirata del Porto" restaurant in Bologna, and the experience was overwhelmingly positive. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making my stay immediately enjoyable. For my lunch, I opted for a classic, spaghetti allo scoglio, accompanied by water and coffee, for a final bill of €22.50. The portion was generous, and above all, the sauce was remarkable: a truly rich, flavorful seafood dish that fully met my expectations. Octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, and even lobster blended together in a well-balanced sauce, making every bite a true pleasure. If I really had to find a small criticism, it was the pasta itself. While not bad, I found it slightly overcooked, lacking the perfect al dente consistency that best enhances a dish of this type. This is a minor sin, but it detracted from the overall experience. Overall, "Il Pirata del Porto" remains an excellent choice for those looking to enjoy quality seafood in Bologna. With a little improvement in the cooking of the pasta, the dish would have been truly perfect.

28/08/2025: This is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Cesenatico. The mixed fried fish and vegetables are a must-try. I'd say it's the best I've ever eaten. The tagliolini allo scoglio, passatelli with clams and cherry tomatoes, and the grilled fish are also excellent. Anyone passing through Cesenatico Ponente can't miss stopping here at least once. Excellent! 👏👏

26/08/2025: After three days in Cesenatico, we were recommended this pizzeria. The pasta was quite good, but the filling didn't quite hold together. Of course, we chose it ourselves, but it was offered by the restaurant. The burrata was tasteless, so we gave it to the husband. The rest of the arugula and prosciutto were good. I had a bit of diarrhea that night, and the husband did too in the morning; we think it was the burrata. I still gave it 4 points so as not to penalize them. Mary, Achy.

21/08/2025: We stopped in Ravenna for a short three-day vacation, visiting basilicas, artistic wonders, and the resting place, where Dante is remembered. By chance, we dined at the "I Furfanti" restaurant, discovering another treasure...a pizza we've rarely had anywhere else. The kindness of the staff and pizza chef allowed us to delve deeper into the technical details and choice of quality ingredients, which ultimately led to the enjoyment of this excellent pizza. 07/08/2025: A Bologna, di passaggio, abbiamo prenotato in questo locale che non conoscevo... Situato in alto, sui colli bolognesi, ambiente piacevole e accogliente, vintage.... Buon cibo della tradizionale cucina bolognese, buon servizio al tavolo, cortese e professionale. Da segnalare i primi piatti come le tagliatelle al ragù bolognese e i maccheroncini col guanciale. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo rosso Sangiovese, che ci ha accompagnato fino al dolce: un ottima crostata di fragole con la crema. Locale adatto a tutte le fasce d'età, famiglie comprese. I prezzi sono in linea col locale. Segnalo la difficoltà nel parcheggio: si parcheggia su ambo i lati della strada. Se si è sui colli bolognesi, questo locale merita una sosta.

06/08/2025: Passing through Bologna, particularly in the hills, we made a reservation at this place I wasn't familiar with... The atmosphere is simple yet refined, with furnishings that are both vintage and rustic, and very pleasant. The table service is good, friendly, and helpful. The dishes here are traditional Bolognese cuisine: tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù, maccheroncini, and the house specialty: crispy chicken with baked potatoes. Simple yet delicious. Everything is accompanied by an excellent Sangiovese throughout the meal, which easily carries through to dessert: a homemade tart with custard and strawberries, delicious... The prices are in line with the location, not excessive in my opinion... a place suitable for all age groups, including families. Parking can be difficult: you can park on both sides of the street. If you're in Bologna or the hills surrounding Bologna, this place is worth a visit.

You'll find gourmet cuisine of the highest quality, but the dishes reflect the proportions of a gourmet restaurant—so high-quality, high prices, and easy portions. The place is truly beautiful and unique, very quiet, and the atmosphere is unique. Will I return? I don't know, if it's an occasion, certainly. If I'm just passing through and want to eat, I think I'll pass by.

09/08/2025: We went to this restaurant a few weekends ago... and upon entering, you realize that besides cooking, the owner and chef's second passion was Formula One. He was the chef for the Ferrari team for about ten years and then for Benetton. Inside the restaurant, he retains wonderful memories of this past life, which is still part of his present. We ate very well: gnocco fritto with his cured meats, two pies, one with parmesan and the other with zucchini, excellent. For the first course, a tagliatelle with ragù and a ricotta and spinach tortello with butter and sage... amazing. To finish, an ice cream, all washed down with a Lambrusco DOC. We ate on the outdoor terrace set on a lawn. I

12/08/2025: I had a great experience. I'm lactose intolerant and asked if there could be any traces of it in the vinegar scallops, which are sautéed in butter and oil. The chef sautéed them only in oil, and believe me, that's not such a common gesture.
