14/02/2026: Beautiful place. Very good food. Friendly staff. The village is very, very pretty and doesn't hurt as a setting. A little pricey? Maybe. But it still deserves 5 stars. Desserts worth revisiting.

12/02/2026: Lured by the numerous positive reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, our expectations were dashed. The welcome was as cold as a cave-like environment. As soon as we entered, we were hit by a strong, musty odor that was truly unpleasant for a restaurant, far from welcoming. We ate in the dark and cold throughout the meal, despite having pointed out to the waitress that they could have seated us in the warmer, brighter mezzanine area upstairs, but she simply replied that when there are few people, that room is closed to guests. The table setting was sparse and inadequate for a place where they charge a whopping €4 for a cover without a tablecloth and using unhygienic and unsightly PVC placemats instead. Let's move on to the dishes... first, we were served an entrée consisting of a chickpea soup with sunflower seeds. I didn't understand the pairing, but let's move on. We ordered two appetizers, a platter of cured meats and cheeses, plus a cheese tasting with fruit compote and honey, which were simply thrown on the table without any explanation... a blind tasting experience that detracted from the importance of the dish, which we later discovered, upon request, was made with local, homemade products. In short, a missed opportunity to justify the €19 price tag. Next, we ordered passatelli with cheese fondue and truffle and the venison skewer... passatelli neither good nor bad, especially since the latter were decidedly bland, but the worst was undoubtedly the skewer made of meat boiled on the outside and raw on the inside. It was almost impossible to swallow, so we left it halfway through. I wonder, how can you present a dish as a skewer when there isn't even the slightest bit of browning on the outside, which would be the result of grilling or grilling, as befits a meat skewer? If it had been well-cooked on the outside, one could even justify and perhaps appreciate the raw meat inside (which, from what we were told, is the chef's choice). I should point out that if you intend to serve raw or undercooked meat, it must be thoroughly cleaned of sinews and strings, which, when uncooked, become an inchewable morsel that's hard to swallow. The dish was accompanied by flavorless pan-fried spinach and a sauce, I presume berry-based, which also had no flavor other than the sweetness of the sugar. In short, the idea was there, but the execution of the dish was completely lacking. After the meal, we didn't even stop for coffee, deterred by the cold of the place and the total lack of warmth on the plates and the service, which was listless and inadequate. This restaurant's presentation refers to traditional Romagna cuisine, and nothing could be further from the truth, even allowing for the mitigating factors of revisiting dishes. The quality-price ratio is absolutely not in line. It's unfortunate to have to leave such a negative review, but with all due respect, we found nothing positive about our experience here. It's a real shame considering the miles we traveled and the day we've had to spend.

16/03/2026: I visited Il Siciliano restaurant and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, making you feel right at home. The dishes are prepared with quality ingredients, and you can truly taste the flavor of Sicilian cuisine done right. I also really appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes and the kindness of the staff, always helpful and attentive without being intrusive. You can sense their passion for what they do. A perfect place for both a quiet dinner and a good meal with friends. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience authentic Sicilian flavors.

13/12/2025: Attentive and friendly staff, nice place. The appetizer was delicious and freshly flavored. The fish soup was nothing special, soulless. I make it better at home. Judging by the other customers' dishes, I probably didn't know how to choose. The lasagna was good, very scenic, but it was barely warm on the outside and cold in the center. I would go back, though. The quality of the ingredients is there. We'll definitely be luckier.

03/11/2025: I've been here with my family; we've had a pretty good time in the past, but this time I have a few comments... The dishes have slightly deteriorated in taste compared to before. But the prices have gone up quite a bit! The biggest problem was the older waitress, who was rude to say the least and unfriendly to customers. I'm surprised the owners, being veterans in the industry, hire unsuitable staff.

10/03/2026: Having stumbled upon an almost anonymous entrance in one of Ferrara's typical alleys, we discovered a truly special little restaurant. The atmosphere seems to transport you back 30 years or more: a simple and authentic setting, with friendly waitresses who immediately make you feel at home. The food is traditional, with truly delicious typical dishes and generous portions. All at more than reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of what's served.

Knowing pasta with eel sauce is a good choice, I expected a different flavor. Then the grilled eel was good, although perhaps a little too dry. Prices were reasonable.

17/03/2026: Perfect spot to grab lunch before or after the Ferrari museum/tour. Lots of seating. Casual restaurant that doesn't require reservations. The food and service were excellent! Ask for Eddie, he speaks ~5 languages and is very friendly and quick. They have house wine, spirits, and beer available. Easy parking in the lot in front of the restaurant. The meal started with warm house bread. The pizzas were cooked perfectly with a light, flaky crust, that has great flavor. The grilled chicken was awesome... Very flavorful.

05/03/2026: A small restaurant not far from the Ferrari Museum, the food was delicious. We had the four-cheese pasta and the absolutely divine penne all'arabiata! The waiter was lovely! We were greeted with a smile and friendliness! The only slight hitch was that they put grated Parmesan on the table without telling us that it would cost €2.50 per person if we ordered more. It was a bit of a surprise when I went to pay; I thought it would be €25, but I ended up paying €30 because of the extra charge for grated Parmesan.
