18/05/2026: A wonderful experience at Ristorante Al 45 Senza Glutine. It was a real pleasure to find a restaurant where you can enjoy Italian cuisine gluten-free, with genuine attention paid to intolerances. I had the gluten-free tagliatelle al ragù, which was delicious, and I was served gluten-free bread with olive oil and pepper—excellent. My partner chose the catch of the day, a turbot, accompanied by potatoes and vegetables—a real treat. The fish was a bit more expensive, but very fresh, so it was well worth it. The service was top-notch: they took the time to explain each fish available, even showing us photos on their phones, which was very much appreciated. They take intolerances very seriously, which is truly reassuring. The prices are reasonable overall. We also discovered an excellent Albana di Romagna, a typical white wine from the region. And a major plus: the back terrace is magnificent, very peaceful and full of charm. The location is ideal, right next to the Baptistery of the Ariadne and near the Oratory of the Blessed Sacrament, making a meal even more enjoyable after a visit to the historic center.

22/07/2026: Emilia-Romagna is the food capital of Italy and Bologna is the food capital of Emilia-Romagna. It is not for nothing that one of the names for Bologna is “La Grassa” — The Fat. Yes, Bologna wears the crown and one of the jewels in that crow is Antica Osteria Romagnola. However, it is a jewel you will not find out front or on the top. You must look to a modest side street away from the tourist throng. Antica Osteria Romagnola is a hidden gem with a neighborhood feel and the food and service make you feel like a neighbor. My wife and I stopped in one day while they were closed, but the door was open. A gentleman, whom I supposed to be owner, greeted me warmly and happily made a reservation for us. Upon our arrival two days later we were again greeted warmly. The place was full with families enjoying the Sunday, yet the noise level was no problem. The sound of families together was quite enlivening. The same gentleman who we met previously took our order, patiently letting me order in Italian and helping out along the way. I had the gramigna with rabbit ragu — I will eat anything rabbit. My wife had the crispy tortelloni. We shared a speciality of stuffed zucchini flowers. The two suggested wine parings were perfect. The food, the service, the atmosphere … erano tutti perfetti. Next year our plan is to visit Sicily, but the following year we will be back in Bologna and we will return to Antica Osteria Romagnola. Grazie mille.

07/08/2026: Very crowded place. Four of us arrived and found a seat. We recommend the vegetable couscous and roast chicken. Fair prices and a cafeteria-like atmosphere. The place is very noisy because it's small.

05/08/2026: A very well-kept restaurant both inside and out, with efficient and courteous service and a varied menu featuring traditional recipes and newer dishes. The key ingredients are highlighted in each dish. Many tasty vegetarian options are available.

03/08/2026: We went last night for a quiet family dinner. We were intrigued by the Parma tapas. It was a great way to try multiple dishes. The cured meats and torta fritta were excellent. The tortelli d'erbetta, grandma's meatballs, and the artisanal gelato were not to be missed. Nando was incredibly friendly, and the staff in the dining room were also very kind.

07/08/2026: Very good restaurant in a great location in Ravenna. We had a mixed grilled meat platter, which was delicious and came with some very tasty sides. The service was very good, and the terrace is really pleasant. It wasn’t very busy when we were there, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Definitely a great place to eat!

25/07/2026: Beautiful location in a cool garden, excellent food with fresh fish (proof of this is the fact that they're now closing due to the fishing ban), fast, attentive but not intrusive service, cleanliness is a given, and the staff are extremely kind, courteous, and professional. Excellent wine and spirits cellar. Generous but not excessive portions, and the bill is more than fair.

01/08/2026: I recommend it. I'm celiac and I've eaten everything gluten-free, from pizza to dessert, everything was delicious and certified. The place is very nice and welcoming, and it's not expensive. In fact, I was surprised by the bill, which I thought was too low. I'd recommend it if I had to give it an excellent rating, and I'll definitely be back.

27/07/2026: For me, this is the best gluten-free pizza in Reggio Emilia. If I'm dining out and want pizza, I come here (after trying other pizzerias). What makes it so appealing? It's thin, crispy, and the dough is tasty. Since I have multiple allergies and other intolerances, I can also request gluten-free mozzarella. Every time I've booked, the service has always been super fast. The welcome is superb. For now, it remains THE gluten-free pizzeria I order from when I'm craving pizza (note: I don't eat pizza every week, but once a month or more at most). I'll try the gluten-free entrees later; for now, it completely satisfies my pizza cravings. Thanks also for the always kind welcome.

11/08/2026: The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere both inside and out. The food is fine, but not particularly special. We had the various ravioli, grilled chicken breast, and the ricotta chocolate cake for dessert. The value for money is good. I didn't find the staff very friendly. Rather curt.
