Easter Monday trip to Piacenza, looking for a restaurant on Google, Trattoria la Forchetta attracted us.
We go there, without a reservation and even though they were completely full they found us a table available for an hour and a half. Very fast and friendly service.
Quality and fresh food, reasonable price.

Nothing special, house wine with hints of vinegar, pisarei and fasò to be reviewed (flavor covered only by rosemary), ravioli with potato and truffle filling chosen by my partner were raw. Very good cold cuts and cheese tasting! Basket of fil pasta with inedible apples, too sweet and too much cinnamon! Exorbitant price!
Returning after 4 months, on Sunday for lunch, we resumed the same dishes, and I must say that we noticed a different hand in the preparation of the first courses!

I celebrated my son's 18th birthday, a family atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, generous portions and good food, excellent value for money

Just entering and looking at the dishes on the tables of the other diners is a real vision.
Confirmed once my order arrived.
Braised meat cooked to perfection and an extraordinary flavour.
The same goes for the sweet red fruit cheesecake.
Trained and competent staff.
Balanced price-quality.
So yes I recommend it.
And I will definitely be back.

2 of us went to dinner on a Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome and friendliness of the staff present. All very good. We had 4 starters (the pumpkin pie is really worth it) then she had a first course and I had a truly spectacular fillet. All accompanied by good red wine and at the end of dinner their Bargnolino of which I also took home a bottle because it is truly exceptional

Trattoria in centro a Piacenza, zona strategica e al tempo stesso tranquilla...il locale in se è molto semplice (almeno per la scelta degli arredi), il menù proponr alcuni piatti della tradizione e scelte piu classiche di carne...buono lo gnocco fritto così come I salumi, altrettanto per i vari primi e secondi in menù provati...servizio attento e professionale, conto in linea con lo standard della zona
