We were lucky enough to go on a day when we were the only ones in the restaurant and were spoiled with little extras that would otherwise have ended up in the bin anyway. But even without those surprises, this was a place where we were welcomed with much love and had an extremely good meal for a price that was more than worth it. I understand the abundance of good reviews!
19/03/2026: Simone and Barbara are welcoming and very kind, as well as being particularly good! In fact, their cuisine is excellent. They surprised me with its originality and flavors.

18/04/2026: Beautiful and delicious! The restaurant is very elegant and the staff is very friendly. The menu is varied and predominantly seafood-based.
The seafood platter as an appetizer is delicious, and the tuna steak is delicious. The only flaw: the portions are small (especially considering the price).

Try the meatballs. It's seems common to share the dishes (not just us at least), to taste multiple things, so don't be afraid to ask for extra plates.
The house vine was good.
We fell very welcome and the staff was smiling and friendly, and gave advice about the menu. Strong contrast to the attitude towards turists we experience around Napoli.
Make sure to make a reservation in advance, they are always booked even in off season.
If you get there when they open (19.15-30) as we did, you might be able to get a short serving before a reservation if you are lucky.

The food is very, very good.

And then there's the VR46 just a stone's throw away, which doesn't hurt.

Welcoming atmosphere.
The only downside is the tables at the entrance, which are very close to the door, but that can be overlooked!
Highly recommended.

Excellent service even for English speakers.
And excellent food.
We ordered a cheese and sausage platter, meat-filled ravioli, pizza with chestnuts, caramelized onions and brie and pizza with buffalo cheese and basil.
For dessert we had a warm chocolate cake and a chocolate cake with pears.
The dishes were delicious, perfect in terms of seasoning. We enjoyed it very much

We finished with a selection of cheeses, the result of Tiziana and Stefano's meticulous research into local products. Everything is made with love and expertise, and it's exactly what you get on your plate.
23/02/2026: A well-maintained and clean restaurant in the center of Chiusi, with a beautiful frescoed dining room.
The ingredients are all top-quality...excellent food and impeccable service.
