Good honest food obviously prepared with fresh ingredients and care: he places a plate in front of you and you’re surrounded by foodie perfume… get your delighted nose out of your pasta, your burrata, have some wine … there’s a canal with gondoliers sliding by a few feet away… you’re in VENICE.

We got the “Piovra alla griglia, patate al forno e zucchine ai ferri”, it was good but quite small and I felt really guilty eating it. Then I got the “Spaghetti al nero di seppia”, it was my first time trying this dish and I thought it was alright. I thought it was rich but not that flavourful and I know that sounds contradicting but for some reason I didn’t want to eat a lot of it. It wasn’t very tasty but wasn’t bad. I think it was missing something. My partner had the “Lasagne alla bolognese” and this was very very good! It came out piping hot and was delicious.

07/05/2026: This was our second time in Venice and we stumbled upon this little gem of a wine bar. Absolutely incredible. The food was super fresh and delicious, especially the little sandwiches, and everything was very affordable. We also tried the wine, which was amazing and reasonably priced too. We sat outside by the water and just enjoyed the atmosphere — such a fantastic experience. Definitely one of our favourite spots in Venice and somewhere we would happily come back to again!
06/05/2026: The food is delicious...unfortunately, the service is terrible. They serve you reluctantly; if you're Italian, the owner (or at least he seemed to be) will be friendly, otherwise he'll send someone else to serve you.
