12/08/2024: For three friends on holiday this restaurant represented the so-called icing on the cake. In addition to the sea just a stone's throw from home, here we found excellent cuisine and splendid service, present but not intrusive. We recommend: marinated fish, spaghetti with sea urchins (real sea urchins), bull's eyes, half paccheri with grouper.

12/08/2024: Everything excellent! Very fresh dishes cooked very well, without too much garlic or spices but tasty at the same time. Excellent mussel soup, appetizer of 11 tastings, the first courses also very good: half paccheri with grouper with delicate but tasty cherry tomatoes, olives and capers, fresh grilled meat with squid that melted in your mouth. The second evening we asked for an off-menu with 2 dishes of spaghetti with clams: excellent! Fresh clams, with a nice cream, drizzled with oil. Delicious desserts, especially Bronte pistachio cake with pistachio ice cream, but also almond affogato with chocolate. Perfect service, fast, attentive, kind waiters who know what their dishes are about. Good portions, which satisfy you. What more can I say! In just a few days we returned twice. Fair price for the offer.

27/08/2024: Ho messo 4 perché i tagliolini al tartufo sapevano un po' di poco... Ma i pici all'aglione erano strepitosi, così come anche il peposo!!!! Non sarà stato di classe ma la scarpetta l'ho fatta! Ambiente soft e camerieri gentilissimi. Ci torneremo volentieri!

25/08/2024: We had been walking around Florence on a particularly hot day and had just come down from the Piazzale Michaelangelo. It was early evening and looking for somewhere nice for dinner. Luckily we found a table for 4 outside on the pavement at this nice establishment. The young waitress who greeted us was excellent. She spoke very good English and made us feel very much at home. She had recently returned from a vacation in Bavaria which she was happy to share with us. After ordering our drinks (I had a large local draft beer) I went for a beef strip meal with parmesan & rocket. It was delicious if rather on the modest, small size. The rest of the family had pasta and salad. I convinced our daughter to try the Negroni cocktail which, we discovered was invented in Florence. A fact that our waitress didn't know! It was delicious - packed full of alcohol. The chilled bottled water was a reasonable 2,00€ and the ubiquitous cover charge was only 1,50€ per person. In all, we left 60,00€ for the four of us which I thought was great given the fact that we were in Florence! Oh, and both our tired and hot dogs were well tolerated here. They offered some water which they lapped up thirstily.

09/08/2024: We found Tarocchi as we were descending the hill lookout, and were trying to find a place to eat. We were welcomed by friendly staff, who kindly served us in English. Food was excellent. Very good priced, with a separate menu for gluten free options. Atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend for a meal anytime, but especially after some decent walking.

13/07/2024: We were very happy with them, they opened the kitchen for us at 10pm...the pizzas were delicious and the price was also very fair. I really recommend the pizza carbonara, pizza nanni and pizza dozze. Plus the portions are nice and large

05/09/2024: All excellent products from the appetizers to the first courses to the "ciccia" and finally to the desserts. Excellent staff especially for recommending the right cut of meat, given the vastness of choice. Also very kind to prepare a dish not on the menu for the child. It's certainly not cheap, but the bill is adequate for the quality and quantity. Highly recommended!

03/09/2024: Excellent restaurant in Castagneto Carducci! We ate the Tuscan cured meat platter, the cheese platter with Vin Santo and Pasta with Cinta Senese ragù, all accompanied by an excellent organic Bolgheri Rosso wine. If you want to eat as if it were your last day in Tuscany, trust me, go here!

10/08/2024: A beautiful discovery! Arriving thanks to Google, we found a Trattoria where hospitality and food are the protagonists. The owner, Savino, offers traditional cuisine with raw materials of the highest quality. Don't miss the cold cuts platter: the pigs are raised and seasoned with skill!!! Mandatory bacon, bow, salami and coppa! Very interesting wine list. Excellent quality/price ratio

05/08/2024: In my opinion, the restaurant is overrated for the standards they set for themselves and the pricing they advertise on site. When we ordered the gnocchi were already out. When the bottle of red wine was presented, the tablecloth was quickly covered with red wine stains! The green salad as a starter was just a small bowl of iceberg lettuce, my first course was completely wrong! The artichoke salad that was brought later was very good. The pasta with porcini mushrooms was okay. The service was average. All in all, the restaurant is not what you would expect from the reviews.

18/08/2024: A well-deserved star for the friendliness shown by the owner upon our arrival. Bottom line, we left without sitting down. I edited the review following the response from the venue. Edit: after having waited 10/15 minutes standing without being noticed by anyone even though many waiters and the owner himself had passed by us numerous times, hearing the latter reply "usually customers wait at the entrance" after asking if there was helpfulness by pointing out that we had been waiting to be received for some time, is the exact opposite of how you should treat a customer. I would also like to point out that we went to the place AFTER calling and being told "come ahead because some tables will be free soon", only to be rudely bounced. It was 9.30pm and not 8pm. I repeat, a very deserved star.

10/08/2024: Good restaurant by the sea right on the beach, fixed menu formula with several starters, a first course and a second course. The general quality is good, nothing exceptional but pleasant and suitable for those who want to do several tastings. Friendly staff, very fast service. Price appropriate to quality, quantity and location = €138 for 4.

02/08/2024: Super fresh fish and cooked beautifully! You eat what the chef suggests!!! Wine at will, coffee kills coffee all included in the 45 euros :)

02/08/2024: Lovely, very clean place with spacious rooms and all comforts. The owners are friendly and very kind (especially Elisabetta), a lovely girl in explaining the place, the dishes but above all the wine to customers. What can I say, we will definitely be back

03/09/2024: I am sorry but this restaurant was a dissapoinment for me. The chicken that was supposed to be grilled looked like boiled and covered in a sauce. I got a wing and half chicken leg for main course! Unacceptable in my opinion. Overall poor dining experience, they try to impress but it’s a failure.

01/09/2024: All very good and very beautiful, perfect hospitality in a refined environment where you immediately feel at ease thanks to the sincere smiles of the owners who take turns, each with their own role, in customer care. The courses, with references to tradition, have that push towards creativity that would lead you to want to taste everything. From the homemade bread to the delicious rose cake, everything is perfect in terms of quality, cooking and combinations. The last surprise was the bill, the quality/price ratio was really high.
