Four of us stayed last night (June 11th), recommended by the lady at the B&B Il Trullo Barbagiullo. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt like we were among friends. The homemade food was incredibly plentiful and the prices were reasonable. It couldn't be better. And Vito, the chef, and Daniela, the waitress, are fantastic! We'll be back in Cisternino to eat at Vito's!

What a wonderful discovery, Locanda da Vito! As soon as you enter, you immediately sense the genuine atmosphere of a family-run establishment, where hospitality, simplicity, and warmth make you feel instantly at home. We ate a truly delicious meal: excellent local cuisine, carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and generous portions that reflect tradition and a passion for good food. Special praise goes to Chef Vito, who, with great kindness, personally stopped by our table to ask how we were enjoying our food and to chat with us. This attention is increasingly rare and much appreciated, demonstrating how much he cares about his customers and the quality of his offerings. We also appreciated the helpfulness and courtesy of the staff: when we ran out of French fries, they offered us some excellent baked potatoes, truly delicious. Small gestures that make a difference and demonstrate great customer care. A special thanks also goes to the waitress Daniela, always smiling, friendly, and professional, creating a pleasant and family-friendly atmosphere. And then the desserts... a real surprise! Knowing they're prepared by the chef's wife makes everything even more special. You can taste them homemade with passion and love: authentic delicacies that alone are worth a visit. The perfect ending to an already excellent dinner. As a Friulian, accustomed to good food and authentic flavors, I can only compliment the whole family. Here you eat well, you eat a lot, and you're welcomed with a smile. Truly exceptional value for money. We ate here twice and it was wonderful. Authentic local cuisine – this is what southern Italy tastes like! Highly recommended. The service was excellent; the waitress served alone and, despite the restaurant being full, always had a kind word for every guest, explained the dishes, and offered recommendations – in both English and French. Nothing could faze her. You feel incredibly welcome here.

Delicious traditional food. The orecchiette and antipasti were a 10/10. Generous portions and wonderful service. Always with a smile! We'll be back!

Despite the crowds and the workload, the waitress was lovely. The food was good, as were the local wines. I recommend it.
