19/07/2025: We were at this restaurant yesterday, the second shift, and I don't recommend the fixed fish menu. 1. The appetizer was poor and flavorless. 2. The first courses, mainly the seafood risotto, were watery and in some parts almost tasted plain. 3. The second courses, the fried fish and mussels were good. The calamari with its sauce was COLD and tasteless. I don't know what went on in the kitchen, but I'd heard good things about it. If so, I strongly advise against it.

12/07/2025: U Palangaru, renowned and now famous in Portopalo. One of the busiest restaurants, for sure. The strong points are definitely the atmosphere, which I've always found very relaxing, and the Chef's appetizer: Una Bomba. The only flaw? The overpriced first and second courses. In Portopalo, I still haven't found a restaurant that stands out from the crowd. The usual first courses with cherry tomatoes, pistachios, shrimp, etc. No one ever stands out. I recommend trying something new, the potential is there. The combination menu idea is also nice.

06/09/2025: I tried Pizzeria Cavour in Moncalieri and it was an exceptional experience! 🍕 Mr. Sandro welcomed us with great kindness and warmth, making us feel right at home. The pan pizza is truly special: fragrant, soft, and bursting with flavor, the best I've ever had. 🔝 Welcoming place, impeccable service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an unforgettable pizza!

04/09/2025: We were so disappointed. The reception was hostile-couldn’t find our reservations and blamed us until they finally found it. The servers were friendly to us but seemed unhappy with their employer. The lasagnas came out right away but one of our group did not get our order until all of the rest of us were finished. The spinach truffle turnovers were delicious. The lasagna was good but no better than others. The carbonara was average.

07/09/2025: We went for a drink on the terrace several times during our stay in Brescia. The staff was extremely friendly: Eugenia, Mary, who was originally from Ecuador, and another blonde waitress whose name I don't know. There was also a gentleman, perhaps the owner, who was very attentive and pleasant. We didn't eat there either day, but the food we saw coming out looked incredible. The terrace is very inviting and overlooks Piazza della Loggia. The restaurant's interior is also very beautiful. Without a doubt, an excellent and highly recommended option in Brescia.

05/09/2025: Over the course of four days in Brescia, we dined there three times. The prices are a little higher than other restaurants, but the cuisine is more refined and offers more sophisticated flavors. The staff is incredibly friendly. The restaurant offers a terrace and an air-conditioned dining room.

22/08/2025: We had high hopes for this restaurant given its reputation and the many accolades plastered on the doors, but overall the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The service was unfriendly and dismissive, which set the tone for the meal. At one point, our placemats were left oily from the plates, and despite us gesturing, mentioning they were dirty, and even stacking them at the front of the table, the staff never replaced them. Instead, we sat through dessert with greasy, food-stained placemats right in front of us- not exactly the atmosphere you want for enjoying a “fancy” meal. As for the food, there were some hits and some misses. The lamb rib chops were fine but nothing remarkable. Of the pastas we tried, the pesto with hazelnuts was our favorite, while the mushroom pasta was bland and under-salted. The calamari, however, was excellent- fresh, crispy, and elevated by crunchy zucchini and sweet potatoes. Dessert was underwhelming: the “mixed fruit” turned out to be just strawberries, and the tiramisu was cloyingly sweet. Nothing we ate was terrible, but overall the dishes leaned pretentious without delivering. Combined with the poor service, the restaurant simply didn’t live up to the hype or the glowing reviews.

20/08/2025: Excellent dinner in the center of Viterbo. Everything was delicious, including excellent local dishes. Very good. We'll definitely be back.

17/08/2025: The evening was ruined by terrible service, to say the least. We were served by an embarrassing waiter who kept making unpleasant and meaningless jokes. He started by telling us that the octopus was out and that he obviously had nothing to do with it and therefore didn't want to make a fool of himself. When we asked for missing cutlery and glasses, he always responded arrogantly. The professionalism was absolutely zero. The cuisine was mediocre. We ordered four plates of grilled picanha, and more than half of it was greasy. I'm very sorry, but I absolutely do not recommend this place.

14/08/2025: The restaurant is well-presented, with elegant furnishings and a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly and helpful service. The start was truly promising: the crispy chips, perfectly golden, proved to be the perfect appetizer. The meatballs, soft and flavorful, confirmed the initial good impression. Then came the roasted octopus... and that's when the magic ended. Aside from a touch of salt, it was practically bland, lacking the intense flavor you expect from such a dish. The texture made things worse: hard, rubbery, and difficult to chew, making the dish more of a test of endurance than a pleasure. A real shame, because with a little more attention to cooking and seasoning, it could have been as good as the rest.

09/08/2025: Federico and Sara do something that would have been too easy not to do in a mass-tourism destination like Sestri Levante (on the seafront): study, be passionate, research, and continually experiment to offer dishes that, unlike all the others, have new flavors and something to say. Anyone who criticizes the price would be better off going back to a pizzeria or starting to simply distinguish between quality and quantity! Alberto

23/06/2025: Totally a rare find, we lived across the street and the “other” seafood restaurant was full so we walked into this joint for alternative late dinner. Little do we know, we were surprised by the place, the quality of the food, reasonable price, super friendly (and pretty) service by Tonya n her chefs, and even the little things like the quality and cleanliness of the toilet impressed me so much! Especially in Italy, good toilets are hard to see. All in all we had such a great time that we had to go again on our last day before we fly off, had another awesome dinner time with good wine recommendations! Please give this restaurant a good try, u will love it!

09/08/2025: Perfect for the little French people that we are. A warm and gentle welcome. A 100% Ligurian table and cuisine, without fuss or frills. But full of flavor and taste. So yes, we're far from the most luxurious, but we feel like we're staying with a friend who takes the time for you.

16/08/2025: A complete joke from start to finish. The sad appetizer: six slices of ordinary prosciutto, six slices of supermarket salami, three slices of anonymous cheese, and nine micro-slices of bread with sauce, chopped tomatoes, and lard with "truffle" (quotes required). Then came a veal "fillet"... with tiny bones! I almost broke a tooth: amateurish stuff. Side dish? A sprig of salad thrown in for show. Then two pasta dishes: one with pesto, one with a ragù whose meat was unclear. Both forgettable, like a school cafeteria (from the 1990s). Drinks: beer, water, a glass of Coca-Cola poured from a hidden bottle (what exactly were they trying to hide?), and a quart of Chianti. Final bill: 81 euros. An insult to the customer's intelligence. Poor quality, paltry quantity, zero transparency. If this is their concept of dining, I'd be better off getting a sandwich at the bar. Never again. I strongly advise against it.

06/09/2025: Found this little restaurant hidden down an alley, glad we chose here the meals were to die for, so delicious. Little expensive but do yourself a favour and don't go past it
