18/07/2024: A hidden gem a little further from the lake/center. Very tasty food, sufficient variety in the menu, friendly and prompt service. Only downside: had already cleared 2 plates when the others were not yet empty (because they had not seen it. Then they waited to clear the rest) We will definitely come back here if we are in the area again!!

30/06/2024: Good risotto funghi, my daughter loved the carbonara, osso buco with polenta was good but a little too salty for my taste, but all osso buco I've had is a little too salty for me, so probably just my own preferences and we wish we could eat there in the fall when truffle season is. Good prices👍

01/07/2024: On jun 24 margherita pizza with mozzarella di bufala was very very very good. And also home made desserts and a 0.5 lt Weiss beer were noticeable. All came at reasonable price of 33 euros for 2 people. The waitresses were very kind and efficient but service (for pizzas) was slow. Place is a little bit outdated. Some children played around the tables, but being outside make their chaos happy and... "quiet".

11/08/2024: Agricultural cooperative with local products. The dinner began with a tasting of their own oil which can also be purchased on site. We then chose a farmer's appetizer with vegetables and cheeses, tried the grilled meat and the aubergine parmigiana. I suggest trying the dishes with legumes which we did not try given the August temperatures. The walnut and fig ice cream was not very popular. Very nice location. Rating 8

05/08/2024: Ok so I’m not even sure where to start, the restaurant is beautiful and the staff are lovely. The wine recommendations were awesome… but the food! I had the fusilloni al ragú Di coniglio and it is honestly the best thing I have eaten in the last 10 years. I’m an Australian travelling in Europe and I am genuinely mourning the fact I will not be able to eat here again. I highly recommend booking in for a meal even if you’re just passing through!

19/08/2024: We (four adults and two children) had lunch in Ristorante Amici Miei. It was a calm day in the restaurant, so we immediately got a table. This family run restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a friendly atmosphere. To my taste the interior was a bit too dark though. We ordered some antipasti as a starter, a mix of vegetables, charcuterie and fish. The antipasti were good, but to be honest, we've had better elsewhere. And sadly the spumante had been open too long, so the bubbles were mostly gone. I should have sent the glass back. As a main course we ordered the pasta combination of the chef. The pasta was nice and the portion was more than enough to share between six people. I have to mention the home made bread with bacon and broccoli, which was really outstanding. Could have eaten the bread all by myself. After the meal we got offered some merengue on the house.

31/07/2024: I almost do not want to review this restaurant as I want to keep it all to myself, what an amazing hidden gem! So unassuming from the outside that you might walk past it without noticing its there. We stumbled upon it and we are so glad we did. My partner has Italian family and had been visiting Italy for many years, eating out often and having plenty of home cooked food. He said this was the best meal he has ever had out in Italy! It was wonderful and the staff were so warm and friendly. I whole heartedly recommend. We started with bread and cheese and meats (the balsamic vinegar was the best I have ever had) followed by a pasta course, we skipped meat as we were full but really wanted desert opting for tiramisu and lemon pie both excellent. Very very reasonable prices I would have paid double. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff di Amici Miei. Ricorderemo a lungo la vostra ospitalità e l'ottimo cibo. Torneremo a trovarvi quando torneremo a Napoli.

26/07/2024: Ero stata già 2 volte in questo ristorante e mi ero trovata bene. La posizione è molto bella e suggestiva. Peccato che i prezzi siano aumentati parecchio rispetto alla qualità del cibo che invece è peggiorata.

16/07/2024: Locale all’interno claustrofobico, soffitto basso e tavoli piccoli e attaccati l’uno all’altro, tanto che mettono un piccolo tavolino accanto, da condividere con altri commensali, su cui appoggiano pane e bottiglie. Ci sono tavoli all’esterno sul molo più spaziosi, ma difficilmente prenotabili. Personale di base abbastanza gentile, ma molto sbrigativo. Quello che non trovo assolutamente tollerabile è che alla richiesta di 3 primi differenti (eravamo 3 commensali) ci sia stato detto che non era possibile preparare più di due primi diversi, per cui ho dovuto mangiare un primo uguale a quello di mio figlio. Abbiamo preso 2 antipasti misti (discreti), anche se non ci è stato descritto di cosa si trattavano gli assaggi. Sono arrivati poi i tonnarelli allo scoglio (pasta fatta in casa buona) con cozze e vongole, le quali erano per la maggior parte ancora chiuse ed erano minuscole. Abbiamo dovuto richiedere un piatto per i gusci e salviette umide per pulire le mani, che non ci erano state portate. Abbiamo visto poi portare a un altro tavolo di turisti stranieri una pasta allo scoglio con vongole e cozze già sgusciate… Come dessert tortino dal cuore caldo ma senza interno morbido e molto asciutto. Credo che Viareggio offra locali con una qualità del pesce analoga, se non migliore, a prezzi onesti, in location e con servizio decisamente migliori. Non ci torneremo più!

24/08/2024: To every indian and brown skin from other countries. I was at this place and to my surprise i came across racism. The main head at the reastraunt kept ignoring me and did not bother to attend. Infact the other waiters were also quiet cold and i got late response. It was very disappointing and rude. It is strange that a reastraunt at this level have such a racist behavior. They weee attending all with warmth and upmost care. Infact they gave me a wrong bill as well. It's was very disheartening. I would suggest all Indians not to go there. Thank you. Be safe.

21/08/2024: Ordered with deliveroo 37 euros to eat fried calamari, fried carrots and courgettes and 3 prawns that died of old age... in the first fried dish both tufts and sardines were missing, in the main fried dish there were only rings of calamari the prawns and vegetables soaked in oil probably of exchange given the terrible taste!!!! 2 stars and I love you!!!

31/07/2024: The food is delicious, best carbonara we had in Sicily. We also tried the calamari skewers, a great traditional dish that was cooked to perfection.

29/07/2024: Ms. Gianna's simple and authentic cuisine is a must-try! Caponata and pappardelle with sardines and fennel are delights for the palate! Excellent value for money.
