28/09/2025: While cycling, my friend and I stopped for a drink. Wanting to order an antipasti, I ordered oysters, which I didn't dare touch; apparently, they were the last ones hanging around at the bottom of the freezer.

29/08/2025: Excellent quality ingredients, decent portions, except for the fried calamari, which was a bit sparse but exceptionally flavorful. Attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. Prices are average, and the atmosphere is clean, bright, and welcoming.

01/09/2025: I visited for work with a colleague and found the place quite busy, which is definitely a positive sign. We were greeted with kindness and personality, and after perusing the menu, we asked the waiter for advice, who suggested some off-menu dishes. We also chose the pappardelle with black truffle, which had just arrived: we saw it with our own eyes as they were preparing it. A truly pleasant experience, made special by the care and quality of the products.

25/08/2025: **English below** ------------- My Monday lunch experience in brief: almost an hour's wait for three plates of overcooked pasta, despite there being about 15 people in total. Several dishes on the menu were only partially available or unavailable due to a lack of certain ingredients. Overall, the food tasted okay. The waiters were friendly. Pizza was unavailable at lunch. The place certainly doesn't deserve one star, but not more than three. I don't know if I'll return, but if I do, I hope to have a better experience. I'm attaching a photo of the seafood linguine, which was certainly a generous portion, but the sauce was completely runny (the consistency of water). Note that clams were unavailable (as were other ingredients), so I hope this is an exception and not the norm. It should be noted that in the absence of clams, an extra langoustine and mussels were added, which was at least a welcome gesture. -------------- My experience in a nutshell: a wait of almost an hour for three plates of overcooked pasta, even though only about 15 people in total were there. I've attached a photo of the linguine allo scoglio, with a portion that was certainly generous but the sauce was completely watery. You can somewhat see this in the bottom part of the image, although it's not very clear - my bad for running away without taking any pictures after not even finishing the dish. I want to stress though that clams (clams) weren't available - like other ingredients - so I really hope the look of the dish is exceptional and not the norm. I must say that in the absence of clams, an extra scampo and some extra mussels were added, which was at the very least a thoughtful gesture. Oh and by the way I'm a local - I think it's worth mentioning it, just in case someone thinks that I'm a tourist and I know nothing about Italian cuisine.

14/10/2025: A historic spot in San Lorenzo. Stepping inside takes you back to the '80s, but the pizza and fried food are something special. The service is a bit chaotic, but it works well in this setting. Recommended for a casual evening.

09/10/2025: The atmosphere is rustic, as the restaurant's name suggests, but very welcoming. The service was excellent, no complaints there. Even though the place was quite busy, we didn't wait; the dishes arrived promptly. I have to take one star off for the first course, the carbonara. It was made with pancetta (which was fine), but unfortunately it was burned and smothered all over the pasta. On the one hand, it was even better this way; we removed it because it was inedible and ruined everything. The rest of the food was excellent, the appetizers excellent. The pappardelle with mushrooms and truffles were excellent. The portions were generous.

Delicious vegan food Dishes you can put together with different grains or pre-made, such as beetroot and sesame seed cake, quinoa and cabbage, farinata, zucchini and vegan cheese pizza Everything is delicious and the prices are fair. More places like this! I'll be back soon :)

15/10/2025: Spectacular place, very basic but clean and tidy. The owner cooks and runs the place himself. Vegan cuisine only, pay by weight, and a wide variety of dishes. Everything is delicious.

30/09/2025: We ate here twice in a row. Although the owner didn't speak English, he still tried to communicate with us. The restaurant is not very big, but the food is surprisingly delicious. I really like the porcini mushrooms with charcoal grilled steak. The pizza and black truffle pasta are also delicious.

12/09/2025: It could have been so beautiful... As so often, the beautiful ambiance attracts guests. In a back courtyard and away from the crowds of the city center, somewhat hidden yet right in the center. Just stay away from this restaurant. It was abysmal. I've eaten a lot of Italian food, but here both the chef and the waiter fail, and no one takes responsibility for complaints. The pesto was disgustingly slimy, the ham pizza had a revolting odor, so we barely managed five bites. We didn't take anything with us, but left everything. This "fun" cost us €50. Never again! Definitely stay away!

22/10/2025: Excellent pizza, light and tasty, with quality ingredients. The staff was truly friendly and helpful, attentive to every request. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was fast. A place we'll gladly return to!

24/09/2025: We chose this place for a celebratory dinner and didn't regret it. The terrace is very cozy and atmospheric. The food was delicious. We had chicken shashlik with vegetables and shrimp with rice noodles. We were very pleased. There's a great wine selection. Highly recommended.

14/09/2025: It's always a treat to dine at Calycanto, with its ethnic dishes catering to every taste, from vegetarian to vegan, as well as fish and meat options. I love the local beers on offer, and the desserts... truly a feast for the eyes and the palate!

23/09/2025: This has become our favorite pizzeria in Lignano!!! Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The owner himself takes the cash here, and there are always a few kind words. And of course, a gastro-stimulant on the house! We'll be back...

17/09/2025: I've been going there regularly on vacation with my parents since 1991. Giovanni and Lorenzo still worked there. I rarely come to Lignano these days, but O'Saraceno is a must-try every time I visit! Excellent food, friendly staff. For me, it's still the best restaurant in Lignano Sabbiadoro!

27/09/2025: The fettuccini with porcini was so so good ! The tiramisu also was superb.

22/09/2025: It's located just above the main square in Zafferana, and has outdoor seating. The staff is friendly, especially the tall, blond guy... I'll definitely be back...

27/10/2025: We drove 1.5 hours to discover this restaurant bar... it was closed even though all the websites indicated that it was open. I am very upset that the information is not updated.

17/08/2025: I came here for a business lunch. The setting is undeniably sumptuous and high-end. As is the service... high-end, attentive, near-perfect. The chef presented us with the most interesting dishes with great attention to detail. We ordered a main course and a dessert. In my opinion, everything was exquisite, both in terms of the combinations, the quality of the ingredients, and the technique. If I really had to find a flaw... I'd say it's expensive, but I think that's acceptable.

10/08/2025: An exceptional restaurant with a refined atmosphere and attentive staff. Truly excellent cuisine.

02/11/2025: Pizza with friends; not the best pizza, but decent enough with a good variety. I think the place is more enjoyable in the summer than in the winter because it's entirely covered in a veranda, but without losing its elegance. The fish menu is worth trying.
