22/10/2025: A farmhouse that I recommend after visiting the sanctuary

01/09/2025: A magnificent and enchanting place. Not far from the evocative Calomini Hermitage, an excellent trattoria with old-world charm, excellent prices, and excellent dishes. Rich appetizers, including vegetarian options, with homemade focaccia (although a bit too compact and heavy). Many of the ingredients are homemade. Friendly and fast service. The tour concludes with a guided tour of the Hermitage, with time dedicated to meditation in the retreat cave, appreciating the silence of those caves dug way back in 1200.

22/09/2025: We were passing through and stopped for lunch, so I can only comment on the food: we had a great time, excellent food, good wine, and a very refined and pleasant atmosphere. A small mix-up with a dish was resolved in a polite and brilliant manner. I highly recommend it.

16/09/2025: We had dinner. Antipasto with tigelle and gnocco fritto, cured meats. Excellent first courses. Superlative rabbit. Top dessert.

09/10/2025: We were there for lunch and ate inside. Authentic Italian, full of employees from the surrounding offices. The waiters were typically grim-looking, but the service was great. The Bolognese and tuna tartare were excellent.

19/09/2025: Over 12 months on in September 2025 we came back and again had the scallopini limone and it was again outstanding. This time with mash and applepie with icecream to finish off. No sign of Antonio who is now in his early 80s and slowing down a bit. We ca't wait until next time to do it all again. This was a truly memorable eveningg in MIlan. The wine and beer before after and during dinner was enjoyable and the Veal with limone was outstanding. Followed up with tiramasu for desert it was one of the culinary highlights of our European trip at 87 Euros it was good value.The pizza with fresh ham(15 euro) the next day was spectacular as well. It was interesting to see that the Boss still had the same demenour (grumpy).

09/08/2025: A must-visit among the Val Badia refuges, because the food is good, the service is excellent, and it's not touristy! It has a wonderful view of Campolongo! Today it's in the summer version, but I often come in the winter too.

08/08/2025: A beautiful refuge with delicious food and fast, friendly, and efficient staff. Kudos to Karen, who made us feel right at home! Highly recommended. My family and I will definitely be back.

30/07/2025: We ate outside in a really cute little square. The staff was very kind and attentive... the cured meats and cheeses were excellent, but the gricia was unfortunately inedible.

06/10/2025: Overall, it was tasty, but nothing to write home about. Encouraged by the positive reviews, especially about the frutti di mare pizza, we expected something special. Unfortunately, it turned out to be average, but unremarkable. Minus one star for that disappointment. Two years ago, we had delicious frutti di mare in another part of Italy, and I don't think any dish has ever tasted like it.

20/10/2025: The owner and the entire staff were incredibly nice. The hotel's location is simply fantastic. With the slightly cooler temperatures, the room was very cold because the windows weren't airtight. Breakfast was good, but not great. Overall, I can recommend the hotel.

29/09/2025: The hotel is a little gem, with lovely courtyards and a beautifully furnished lower level. However, the rooms are very noisy. I felt like my neighbor's toilet was right next to my head. The rooms should be better soundproofed. The service is excellent; very friendly, helpful, and generous.

15/08/2025: A tastefully renovated farmhouse hides a truly excellent seafood restaurant. I had the scallops and amberjack, both excellent: perfectly cooked and with a balanced flavor balance. To finish, the cinnamon and blackberry-flavored ice cream was a touch of class. The service was attentive and friendly. Well done!

08/10/2025: €50 for a dinner for two with wine pairing. You think this story is a fabrication? I'm afraid I have to disappoint you. Osteria del Gallo conjures up what you've already eaten while wearing shoulder pads, teasing your hair, and swaying along to "Vamos a la Playa." And the craziest of all, it all seems to cost the same. Inflation has simply been outsmarted. And not only has time stood still there, but also in the decor. The restaurant looks exactly how you would paint an Italian restaurant, if you could paint. The menu continues in the same traditional vein. There are a handful of dishes that Nonna would have served. Without a lot of frills or magic candles, but prepared with love and according to old recipes. With such a strictly curated selection, you might as well try everything at once, because everything will bring a "Mama Mia" to your lips. The whole experience is rounded off with a half-liter of house rosso or bianco wine from the carafe. With all this magic, it's essential to make a reservation a few days in advance, otherwise you'll be one of the countless people who are put off daily.

07/10/2025: Walking through Como, we decided to eat at this place, and it was definitely a good choice. It's a small place where locals eat, and every day they have a different menu based on what's in season. Homemade food, exquisite service. Don't forget to try the tiramisu. Highly recommended.

16/09/2025: I think it's one of the most beautiful places in Florence. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the pizza is unbeatable, 😋 It gives me the same feeling as the one I ate in Naples, it's so good. Only the first course was too al dente for my personal taste, but that's how they eat in Naples. Despite everything, I highly recommend the squid ink calamarata with calamari and yellow cherry tomatoes. The spaghetti carbonara frittatina, which is an appetizer, is truly a symphony of deliciousness: on the outside it looks like a giant croquette, while on the inside it's the discovery of carbonara, beautifully flavorful and slightly creamy. To finish a dinner on a high note, you need dessert: the babamisu (a tiramisu with baba soaked in coffee liqueur instead of ladyfingers) made my husband very happy; with Lulù, which is a giant cream puff filled with whipped cream flavored with limoncello, I discovered a dessert I hadn't heard of. I've been a pastry chef for over 10 years. Excellent combination. Courteous staff, some smiling, and short wait times. I recommend going there, especially if you need to impress a girl. The wisteria-covered gate is very pretty, and there's a small pergola decorated with fake plants that really make a statement. We even had candlelight dinner. We really enjoyed it. Reservations are recommended for these two spots in the restaurant. There's actually plenty of seating, and the space is spacious. If you don't have any special needs, I think you can find a spot.

15/09/2025: We were only there for dinner. A wonderful winter garden and a fantastic panoramic terrace with a fantastic view. Very good value for money.

02/11/2025: The only flaw is the water...they don't have mineral water, and the one they bring to the table is bad and flat if it's sparkling! Too many waiters running around aimlessly and more than one person coming to ask for the same things! Since I can't respond to the response I received—the food was fine, in fact—I said the only flaw was the water, but we asked for mineral water and were told it wasn't available, so we asked for a change, but the water they brought back was identical.

01/11/2025: At the third restaurant that told me it was full, probably because I was alone on a Saturday night, a holiday, I headed toward the Osteria del Vecchio Orologio, expecting yet another refusal. The very kind owner, also fully booked, directed me to their second, smaller restaurant a few meters away, where the very kind and knowledgeable Jasmine seated me. The food was excellent, carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients. A very charming place, tastefully designed down to the smallest detail without being pompous. Exceptional service.
