09/08/2025: If you love authentic Neapolitan cuisine, Gli Scugnizzi in Castelfiorentino is a must-see. Here, you'll experience the warm atmosphere of the South, with dishes that tell stories of tradition and passion. The pasta and potatoes with provola is a masterpiece of comfort food: creamy, fragrant, and rich in flavor, just like it's eaten in the alleys of Naples. Also not to be missed is the fried anchovy cuoppo, fragrant and golden, with a taste of the sea and authenticity. And to finish on a sweet note, the Neapolitan pastries here are simply superb: sfogliatelle, babà, and pastiere that seem to have come straight from the best Neapolitan pastry shops. A restaurant that combines authenticity, quality, and hospitality, making every visit a memorable experience.

31/08/2025: We chose AcaciAmare in Marina di Castagneto because it had been recommended as a charming location, ideal for a seaside dinner, but unfortunately our experience didn't live up to our expectations. Due to the wind, we stayed inside, in a very simple room with plastic curtains: nothing serious, but definitely far from the atmosphere the restaurant could offer with its terrace. The service, understandably slowed down initially by the crowd, however, left much to be desired: customers who arrived after us were served first because they knew a waiter who then sat at their table. The hardest part was the live karaoke music: it was so loud, it was impossible to converse. One of our very kind waiters lowered the volume at our request, but unfortunately, it was raised shortly afterward, and the situation became unbearable again. It hadn't been reported, and for those looking for a quiet evening, it becomes truly annoying. As for the food, nothing memorable: spaghetti with clams with several broken shells, calamari was good but in very small portions. Furthermore, some desserts (the cannoli) were reserved exclusively for guests, which left us perplexed. In short, a restaurant with great potential thanks to its location, but it should pay more attention to the overall customer experience: not just the food, but also the service and atmosphere.

30/08/2025: Excellent!!! Excellent!!! This hotel pleasantly surprised me! The room cleaning was excellent. There's a supermarket available, as well as a beautician, and a restaurant too, including a deli! Very good! 😁

25/07/2025: Vi spiste på restauranten og da der kun er ansat 1 ung mandlig tjener og en ældre herre (der mere går rundt og hygger sig) skulle vi som gæster selv bede om at få service. Restauranten er ikke billig og maden var ikke særlig god. Da vi beder om en pizza bakke til rester, skal vi betale 0,50 euro for bakken. Til trods for at vi har betalt 10 euro i kuvertpris og restauranten også laver pizza takeaway og vi ikke regner med, at man der betaler et ekstra gebyr på 0.50 for æsken pizzaerne kommes i. Vi blev ikke på noget tidspunkt spurgt ind til om vi manglede noget eller vi ville have dessert.

02/10/2025: Unassuming from the outside, inside you receive a very friendly welcome and are shown to your seat. Very friendly staff. You are not immediately rushed to order, but have plenty of time to study the menu. We opted for pizza. Very large pizza, bigger than the plate, thin crispy base that isn't drowned in tomato sauce. Plenty of toppings. Overall, our first visit was excellent and it won't be the last. The menu is very extensive; you have to try everything. Excellent value for money. As for what they say, Italy (especially Lake Garda) is no longer something Germans can afford (I can't hear it anymore). In Germany we would have easily paid €15 more for what we ordered, including tip.

19/08/2025: A delightful place. The ravioli alla roccolana are unbeatable. The cuisine is meticulously prepared, and the service is courteous and efficient. I highly recommend it!

13/09/2025: It is perhaps one of those shops where you will find locals eating and not tourists, which personally for me is something very good, the atmosphere reminds you of another, more romantic era, the staff is really kind, the only minus is the portions, which as I understood in the following days is something common in all their shops, they are small and certainly not proportional to the money you pay, but again as I said, in the end it is something common that all the restaurants have, at least in the city center.

20/09/2025: We went for dinner three times during our trip to the area. The menu is very varied, and they also offer off-menu dishes. The fish was fresh and everything was delicious. The waitress was charming, always attentive, and we were able to communicate very well with her despite not speaking Italian. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We especially recommend the gamberini al pistacchio and the spigola al sale.

18/09/2025: As one diner suggested, everything was good but not "wow!"...a separate vote for the macaroni with goat sauce, truly excellent!!!...the portions could be a little more generous...

17/10/2025: The location was beautiful, with a splendid sea view and excellent bread. We ordered six Girardeau oysters (€4.50 each), usually served chilled, and in fact they arrived at the perfect temperature on ice. Two platters of raw fish included a perfectly chilled tuna tartare, scampi, shrimp, and pink shrimp, all cold as raw fish should be served. And who could forget the filleted scallop, whose inviting appearance and freshness were evident in the aroma...just as raw fish should be? A spectacular scallop accompanied by lemon oil and chives, peppered mussels with jalapeño pepper (which those in the know certainly wouldn't confuse with a bell pepper), and cherry tomatoes. It's THE peppery one! We also ordered two plates of Gran Gratinato and three spaghetti alle vongole, which, once they arrived, stunned us with their deliciousness. A €30 bottle of wine, we ate and drank everything with great pleasure, and in the end we paid a very fair €147 without any problem. I'll be back soon to try the many other delicious things the chefs have on the menu... THANK YOU ANY REFERENCE TO THINGS, PEOPLE, OR OTHER REVIEWS IS NOT AT ALL RANDOM... AND SOME THINGS YOU DON'T EXPECT FROM YOUR COLLEAGUES... EVEN IF THEY'RE WRONG THAT DAY... RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK GOES BEYOND... BUT THAT'S ANOTHER STORY THAT FEW PEOPLE UNDERSTAND ANYMORE!

13/10/2025: This is my go-to restaurant for my Marche vacations every year. Every bite is special, and I'm always sad when my plate is empty. Shabu-shabu is a must-try for antipasto. The pasta is all delicious. I try a different pasta every time I visit, and this one was by far the best. I highly recommend the Scoglio pasta, which boasts a rich seafood flavor. Even the desserts are homemade, not store-bought. I highly recommend the gelato. The passion fruit gelato is incredibly refreshing. It's the perfect final indulgence. A restaurant you won't regret visiting. Reservations are recommended.

11/08/2025: An osteria with no pretensions other than serving hearty, delicious dishes. The terrace is pleasant, and the service is efficient and friendly. The owner comes to greet you personally, as if he's always known you.

16/09/2025: I visited the place on a weekday in September, it was moderately busy. Great food, service was okay, but the 3 euros for bread and water surprised me on the bill.

02/09/2025: Everything was delicious and high-quality, and the price was right if you're looking to satiate your craving for fish. The staff was kind and courteous. Add to this the charming view of the harbor at night. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back. I returned again six years later, this time on a Monday lunchtime in late August. Same management. I can confirm the overall positive experience. Personally, I recommend trying the Caciucco, one of Livorno's typical dishes that I really enjoyed at this restaurant.
