07/08/2025: I got married at Villa Menelao on August 1, 2025, and I can only say wonderful things about this wonderful place. The food was impeccable, with a fabulous appetizer buffet, raw seafood, assassina, cured meats, smoked fish, delicious first courses, a delicious fish main course, and truly delicious desserts. Impeccable service; half the guests were Spanish and were impressed, with no negative comments. Martino Palmisano, the dining room manager, was my shadow. He made sure everything ran perfectly, had a solution for every request I had and was always ready to help with any needs. I am truly grateful to him for being there. The band led by Vittorio Traversa played divinely; I received compliments from everyone; the singer's voice was superb. The entire dining room staff made the event beyond special. The location was a dream, the event was in the evening, and the decorations created a magical atmosphere; everyone was amazed. Thanks also to the owner, Michele Boccardi, who gave us excellent advice and was personally present at the event to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks also to Ilaria and Luana, who planned everything down to the smallest detail and made it more than special. Thanks to all the staff ❤️ P.S.: I wish all husbands were like Martino. You're welcome to be our guest whenever you want, so I can teach my husband a little lesson 😂❤️ P.S.: The next day, when I came back to the dining room, I said it was a shame I didn't get to try the desserts (even though we always had a table full of every dish), and they let me go home with a tray full of desserts to feed an army. 20/10/2025: A nice restaurant in Atino to eat good fish, they always prepare a daily menu where you can decide what to eat or otherwise an excellent fried fish.

05/10/2025: The food was poor, the portions were small, and the service was pushy and downright unpleasant. I paid 32 euros for four shrimp—mediocre, according to the waitress. If they want to see a real seafood restaurant, they should come to Poland. I've never been to such a poor and dishonest restaurant in Italy. Not good for a restaurant in a seaside resort. I've been to many places, but here I felt like a cheated tourist.

28/10/2025: Didn´t use the rooms, only went there to eat. Very good food, the linguine di gragnano was amazing and full of taste. It was so good I was a little emotional, although the wine might have helped with that 😅 We went there twice and both times the pasta was al dente. 20/10/2025: We followed the recommendations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was served in a dog bowl. I had the suckling pig, which had more fat than anything else and was reheated, meaning it wasn't freshly prepared! My partner's fish platter wasn't great either. There are plenty of other places where the food is amazing. This was actually the worst thing we ate on the island in 7 days, and it cost €97.00. The price/performance ratio is absolutely unjustified! Unfortunately, we won't be back!

17/10/2025: We had a wonderful time. The rooms are large, beautiful, and spotlessly clean. Two balconies, a large bathroom, a large shower, and two sinks. They feel like suites! The restaurant is exceptional, with a top chef, Valter. The service provided by Roberto and his wife is impeccable. I highly recommend it. Oh, and the aperitivo was magnificent, both for the wine and the food!! Thank you.

21/09/2025: Very spacious room with a sitting area. Bathroom with a huge shower and double sinks. Air conditioning. Very comfortable king-size bed. Larger-than-average TV. Pool towels provided. Large pool with loungers, umbrellas, and a lifeguard.

16/09/2025: We came here for dinner with colleagues, a real discovery of local cuisine. There's no menu, but Nicola is there to present all the daily specials featuring local fish, with their respective prices. He's very friendly and very characteristic. The fish is incredibly fresh; on his recommendation, we ate everything from appetizer to main course, without a doubt one of the best in the area. Excellent steamed boiled meats, very good gnocchi, divine fried freshly caught calamari... We'll definitely be back, bringing more colleagues for the great value. 19/09/2025: After a few attempts to eat here, we managed to dine one evening in early September, thanks in part to the very kind staff who quickly seated us at a table. They were very helpful, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was always pleasant, with friendly and cheerful staff. I highly recommend the spaghetti with clams and fregola with seafood—really good!—and especially the excellent linguine with lobster. We then tried the seared tuna with vegetables and red and yellow cherry tomatoes on a bed of arugula—truly fresh and delicious. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food served. We'll definitely be back!

23/08/2025: Classic trattoria, friendly and helpful staff. The food is standard, everything is good, but I would have expected the wild boar ragù (we're in Norcia) to be a little better.

07/10/2025: Let me start by saying that we try a different place in Friuli every week, but this time it was Alla Speranza, which I had included in this group of restaurants. The welcome was average, and the staff were kind enough to reserve a table. The location is beautiful, with three different dining rooms, two of which were even more beautiful than the other. The dishes, including those offered off-menu, were very well prepared, and the quality was noteworthy, except for the first course—tortelloni or similar fish-filled dishes with a mussel stew. They weren't thrilling, not because of the sauce, which was superb, but because of the colorful pasta, which tasted like nothing. Perhaps a lasagna or something else would be better. The wine from local producers was really good. On a negative note, the service seemed subpar at times; you couldn't pour other wine into the same glasses, especially in places where another type of wine had been tasted. The glasses had to be changed at all costs, and the placemats weren't exactly attractive; a standard tablecloth with stain protectors would have been a good choice in a place like this. This rating is based on our personal experience compared to other reviewed restaurants. All things considered, we'd be happy to return. The owner was very kind.

03/10/2025: We were looking for a cozy place for a quick late evening dinner. What a great place with very friendly staff and great food. We were seated next to the counter where the pizzas were being made and cooked in a real wood fired oven. The gentleman making the pizzas answered questions (in broken English) and showed us a few things about making the dough. A great experience that was made even better by the very friendly staff.
