11/06/2025: I went here on June 1, 2025. Unfortunately, I have to report an unpleasant experience related to the reception. Upon entering, I politely asked for two glasses of wine and a cutting board, to sit outside, but the lady present (the same one who had already been unfriendly with the customer before me, probably a little stressed) answered me rudely, saying that she "didn't have time to serve me", even though there were only three occupied tables outside. I can't comment on the quality of the food because, given the reception, I preferred not to stop. It's a shame, because an attitude like that can really discourage customers and compromise the image of the place. I hope that it is just an isolated episode, but I think it is right to report it.

01/06/2025: Now i believe the story about being discriminated as a tourist in Europe. Went to this place 1st time after arriving late to hotel. Chubby man appeared to be in charge very rude told us and friend there was no room and late to eat? We asked if we can order to take and he denied. Figured we give this place another chance and returned the next day and the same person told us in Italy you have to make a reservation for restaurants. this guy and another worker were speaking Italian and we knew it was about us. He gave us a bad impression with his nasty attitude. Mybe it was for the best, appearance wasn't all there. Be warned U.S tourist...

Scialatiello allo Scoglio is an ode to the Mediterranean: perfectly al dente pasta, wrapped in an expert sauce where mussels, clams, prawns, octopus and calamari reveal the freshness of the Salerno sea. 25/04/2025: We just went to this truly amazing little restaurant! Found through reviews, it was defined as among the best in Salerno and actually met all expectations. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom, truly remarkable. There are only a few seats so it is essential to book. The food is excellent and the fish very fresh. The owner is of infinite kindness and refinement which is reflected in the refinement of his menu. Some dishes, such as fettuccine alla cetarese, are phenomenal with a hint of fresh lemon. Frying without comparison for freshness. Manual pasta cooking. It goes without saying that the desserts were truly homemade and you could feel all the flavor and authenticity of every single ingredient. Even the coffee was excellent and the bitters, made by them, are extremely refined. All seasoned with friendliness, friendliness, elegance and kindness owner, which are rare qualities to find these days. Everything impeccable!!!! Fair price, in fact you could expect much, much more!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

05/07/2025: The only ones complaining are the little mads who are outraged that they were not welcomed with torn bombs and a whole fleet of trolleys xD The place is good, for 30 euros in 2025 with two people you leave very, very well fed (unless someone needs half a slaughtered pig to eat, then you can ignore this aspect). It is quite loud, but this is Florence and the place is in one of the narrow streets, where every now and then a scooter drives by or a local walks by and greets the staff. The service is nice, entrance from the street during the tourist season without a queue in the afternoon. The waitresses are energetic, if they could they would probably talk to people all day. The pizza is good - simply good. There is no need to say more. When I am in Florence I will definitely visit this place again. It has the charm of such a simple, roadside, but good Italian restaurant with good pizza. Certainly 5 stars, and if someone complains, it's only a little girl with a bubbler who didn't get water or just a regular little onion who wanted to go and just eat, with grace leave 15 euros and be the prince on the estate, the only customer around whom the staff has to jump and dance. I definitely recommend!

24/05/2025: The restaurant specializes in Italian food. The halal menu is very limited. But overall, their pizza is amazing. We ordered a Margherita pizza and a mozzarella pizza. Our brother, Abdo, helped us with our order. He's an Egyptian man and his cooking is delicious. We also ordered two types of plain pasta, and they were delicious.

26/05/2025: What a wonderful lunch experience, outdoors among their beautiful flowers. A kind server with just enough English to communicate with us. Delicious fish dish (Sea Bream) and pasta dish (Maltagliati) were large servings and reasonably priced. House white wine was excellent. Highly recommend.

11/06/2025: Sono stata con un gruppo di colleghi. Cibo nella media. L'antipasto "arabic mix" nulla di eclatante. Vino buono. Servizio molto deludente: eravamo seduti nella corte interna, sotto un grande albero. Peccato che ci fossero degli uccelli che hanno fatto i loro bisogni su una delle commensali che è stata costretta a lasciare il locale ( ancora prima di aver mangiato ) perché aveva il vestito e i capelli sporchi. Stessa sorte toccata poco dopo ad altre 2 commensali. Difficile immaginare che sia la prima volta che succede. Avrebbero dovuto già in partenza tirare delle vele o mettere degli ombrelloni per evitare questo ( le deiezioni sarebbero potute finire nei piatti). Da parte del personale un tiepido " mi spiace" al primo episodio ma nessun tentativo di evitare gli altri 2.
