30/07/2024: Excellent restaurant located near the beach, very welcoming. We were offered a welcome appetizer, with mackerel in pink sauce. Subsequently we ordered the drinks, with excellent wines (three different types, quite varied cellar with medium-high prices), and the dishes. Personally I ordered a grilled fish (photo of which I attach), with very good and tasty fresh catch of the day. Perhaps the small portions do not reflect the price, which is slightly high, but the quality can also be felt, without being an expert. Really good desserts, excellent sorbets too. Availability to order gluten-free for celiacs and intolerants. All in all good service, improved in ascending order over the course of the evening.

25/08/2024: We were so delighted with our first dinner that we went back two nights later. The star of the show was their special for the week, pork knuckle. The goulash was fantastic. Happy with their cheap but delicious house wine, too. Some of the servers are local kids bit they try really hard, overall a great experience.

25/08/2024: We hit the restaurant spontaneously for family dinner, but luckily we've got the table. Cousine is OK and service was pretty fast and friendly, but at the end I've got the proposition to vacate the table and finish my espresso in some other place since our table should have been prepared for another upcoming guests. That's the first time I've had such disappointing experience in reputable restaurant.

22/08/2024: We ate in a heavenly corner where the raw material par excellence meets the passion and love for cooking, a combination of unique flavors enclosed in blends of spices and sea flavors give life to superlative dishes prepared by Chef Bartolomeo, I recommend it to anyone the excellence of the cuisine of a master of Mazarese catering. 20/08/2024: I had dinner with my girlfriend in this restaurant under the arcades of one of the main squares of Mazara del Vallo. We were immediately welcomed with kindness by all the staff, who were able to guide us well in the choices offered by the not very extensive but well-studied menu. the large and varied large plate of raw meats and the bumma spaghettone are obligatory, with refined flavors and perfect balance. The selection of wines is also excellent.

11/08/2024: Great hotel located very close to the Santa Maria Novella train station and on the main street of the historic centre, therefore in a "strategic" position to be able to reach all the places of interest on foot. Spacious rooms with Florentine style furnishings, with all comforts. The staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Florence

02/07/2024: Incredible location looking over across the city, with amazing views of the Duomo! We started with drinks in the roof top bar before having an incredible meal on one of the higher levels. This was a lovely fancy final dinner in Florence, but you could have a more informal meal just in the rooftop bar. Definitely worth a visit

15/06/2024: Raw fish. Sea bass, scampi and prawns. Marinated anchovies really fantastic. Followed by octopus, linguine with cuttlefish ink, grilled sea bass... really good. Chef, host, waiters. Congratulations 💪

Personale impeccabile e grande attenzione a non far mancare nulla alle mie figlie di 5 e 8 anni. Tantissimi assaggi offerti dallo chef, vere e proprie coccole. Consigliatissimo

18/07/2024: Eccellente, per chi vuole mangiare benissimo, godere del silenzio e dei profumi dell’Etna. Il menù degustazione terra è quasi una scelta obbligata, poiché “spiega” il territorio al palato. La cifra dello chef è il limone, col quale firma con equilibrio le portate.

06/08/2024: The best trattoria we were in in the entire city. Great food, good price and high quality. With intentions of repeating, we wanted to return several days later but it was closed :( Likewise, spectacular atmosphere, very attentive waiters and surrounded by locals. Without a doubt 10/10

09/08/2024: The food is amazing! My friend had the fish soup for the second time (she was here last summer) and will definitely have it every time she's here! Her Creme brulee dessert was the best she's had. I had the fish of the day with olives and capers which was delicious as well as the to die for tiramisu!!

18/07/2024: This is without a doubt my favorite hotel that I have ever been to, anywhere in the world. David is incredible and truly makes this an unforgettable experience - the food is amazing, the surroundings are wonderful, the wine is amongst the best I have had, and the service goes above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. The rooms are opulent without being overstated, and the location perfect for exploring Tuscany. Without a double, my wife and I will be back. If you are between here and elsewhere, there is only one good choice, and that is here.

08/07/2024: Little did I know that Relais La Corte Dei Papi would always have a special little place in my heart 💕💍The views were breathtaking and the breakfast was phenomenal as was our private hotel room dinner served by David himself. Our room had such an elegant charm, it truly felt like I was living in a fairytale. You can tell David and his family have worked hard to make this place so beautiful it is truly magical. He goes above and beyond to make you feel so welcome…forever grateful to have met him and stay at his lovely home 🙏 Thank you for the wonderful memories we will be back!

14/07/2024: Può capitare di scegliere questo ristorante per la location meravigliosa, che si affaccia proprio sopra il porto di S. Angelo. Ma sarà il cibo a far ritornare. Piatti tradizionali si affiancano a rivisitazioni davvero bene riuscite, come l'indimenticabile Gambero di Mazzara la cui polpa viene servita su una base di ricottina profumata alla menta, con un risultato sublime per il palato. La squisita cortesia del servizio (diversamente da altri posti che ho frequentato a Ischia) è il tocco finale per rendere assolutamente meravigliosa l'esperienza della cena. Prezzi leggermente superiori ai ristoranti dei dintorni, ma alla fine il conto si paga volentieri. Consigliato!

03/07/2024: Arrived at the port and took the crowded bus to the hotel, which was about a 40 minute drive, took a bus ticket for 3 days at 11 euros, very cheap. Upon arrival at the hotel we received a detailed explanation of what to do on the island. Very warm welcome, we felt very welcome. We had a room with a sea view, just beautiful. The hotel has a breathtaking view, that's why we booked it. We had booked a room with half board. I just want to warn everyone. Do not take a room with half board. Because guess what. If you take half board, which of course you also pay for, you are not allowed to sit on the terrace outside with a breathtaking view. Specially booked this hotel to have dinner with such a view, and then you have to sit inside in a courtyard without a view. Terrace is apparently for customers of the a la carte restaurant. If we had known that 🤔 There are people sitting there eating, each with 1 pizza, which is not expensive, and 1 drink. While we ordered an aperitif, wine, water, .... We did not think this was possible and therefore did not accept it. Staff was unfriendly because we gave our opinion. Not nice when you are traveling to be confronted with this. For the rest, nothing from this hotel but good. Rooms clean, fresh towels every time. Breakfast also okay, just basic. Friendly boss, who regularly chats with you. The island of Ischia is beautiful, but I fear that, like many islands in Italy, it will become super touristy and will attract crowds of people. Positano and Amalfi, mass tourism. Lots of Americans 🫣
