06/12/2025: Really nice little restaurant!! We were a group of 9 and we ordered appetizers, first courses, and second courses based on our individual tastes... the staff was really friendly!! Recommended!

30/11/2025: We ate the raw fried fish and octopus. Everything was very good, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. We'll definitely be back.

31/08/2025: The best restaurant in the area! Wonderful food in a great atmosphere. Also recommended for children. Be sure to make a reservation in advance. Parking is a bit difficult on-site. You'll need to arrive on time to secure one of the limited spaces.

25/10/2025: We went for dinner and had a truly wonderful meal. The fried mixed seafood was delicious and plentiful. The ravioli with grouper and tomatoes were superb, as was the sea bass in an almond and pistachio crust. The homemade crema catalana and chestnut tart were delicious. The staff was very kind and friendly. You must stop by for lunch or dinner!

21/10/2025: We visited based on reviews that said this was a hidden gem. We had a very unfriendly greeting from a stone faced manager who looked me up and down - I'm guessing she didn't like that I was wearing shorts. We should've left at this point. She was eventually persuaded by her colleague to give us a table. Shortly afterwards an Italian couple came in with the man dressed head to toe in a gold tracksuit who was welcomed with open arms and spent his whole meal on the phone. We had tuna pasta which was fresh but average. I get the feeling this is a locals only place where tourists are not welcome. It's not a hidden gem either.

16/11/2025: My experience wasn't entirely satisfying. The dishes didn't meet my expectations, especially the fusilli pasta with rabbit ragù and creamed peppers. The dominant flavor was cream. Considering the €54 price tag for an appetizer and a first course with half a liter of wine, I expected to leave feeling more satisfied. It's a shame because the place is very nice and warm, and the staff is very friendly.

17/11/2025: My family and I had lunch at this Osteria on Sunday, November 16th. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I'm vegan, and Ruggero, the host, while emphasizing that their cuisine is traditional Ferrara and therefore wouldn't be able to offer me a wide variety of options, responded with kindness, courtesy, and willingness to find a solution that wouldn't overwhelm either the kitchen or me (as I think EVERY passionate restaurateur should do). Upon our arrival, Ruggero was thoughtful and attentive, making us feel welcome, and his mother even prepared me a double portion of polenta with porcini mushrooms as an appetizer! For the main course, a delicious plate of homemade potato gnocchi (tough, just like the ones my grandmother used to make) with a radicchio, onion, and butternut squash sauce...a dream! ALL ingredients that were on the menu, which they simply had to combine differently without betraying tradition or overturning the menu. Even though I haven't tried the local dishes, I can say that the cappellacci al ragù looked magnificent!

11/11/2025: Being accommodated in Venice we decided to spend one of the days in Ferrara. That day the weather was not with us and we were looking for a warm place to sit and talk and drink a coffee. We saw the sign of this Osteria and decided to enter. We were struck by the pure Italian spirit and the cheerful people who spoke wonderful Italian. The menus were in Italian and we had no idea what to order. A very nice gentleman came and gave us the desired directions, thus ordering the best veal we have ever eaten. Better even than the one in Florence. Thank you for the treat! You are wonderful!

18/11/2025: Platter with a single slice of cheese cut into 3 pieces and 6 slices of various cold cuts, including ham and loin, I believe. Price: 14 euros, rounded up to 15 on the receipt. They should improve the platter. I think 14 euros for a slice of cheese cut into 3 pieces and 6 slices of cold cuts was fair, but I'm glad the only thing you have to say is about the 2 euro increase. The problem isn't the price, but the mockery. One expects to come to your country and eat well with honest portions, but we found very little honesty.

01/11/2025: Rustic trattoria with authentic cuisine. The fagottino and soup are superb. The only downside is the limited parking, but that's a characteristic of the area.

04/12/2025: Today, having just landed from a wonderful trip, I decided to have lunch at this seafood restaurant where I'd eaten before. Unfortunately, this time the experience didn't live up to expectations. The owner seemed rather nervous and inattentive to detail: cutlery was missing, and when I tasted the glass of rosé, which didn't quite satisfy me, I asked if the bottle had been opened for a few days. The rude response was that "these bottles are like that," with no regard for the customer. It's well known that a white or rosé wine, if opened for a few days, changes its flavor: from an owner, I would have expected courtesy and professionalism, not a brusque response. It's a shame, because the food is truly exquisite: compliments to the chef. I highly recommend the tagliolini with Mazara del Vallo shrimp and zucchini; it's an exceptional dish. I even celebrated my birthday here a few years ago, but after this experience, unfortunately, I don't think I'll eat at this restaurant again.

07/12/2025: The restaurant is located at the very top of a long staircase. After entering, we asked the sophisticated-looking gentleman next to us what he had ordered, and then we decided to order the same thing (pizza: Chiara). It turned out to be an amazing pizza!! The crust was incredibly soft yet crispy, with a wonderfully caramelized aroma, and the topping was plentiful of juicy meat. Every bite was so satisfying 🥹 I highly recommend everyone to try it!

07/12/2025: This is the best restaurant we've been able to find in the winter time. We have been to a few restaurants, but none that had everything on point and delicious. The pizza and Tirimisu are to die for! Very delicious!

12/09/2025: I went for lunch today with my husband. Everything was excellent, the place was beautiful and well-decorated, and the food was excellent. We had two fricos as appetizers, two excellent first courses, and two desserts. The wine, water, and coffee were excellent. €90 was more than good. I can't wait to go back. Superb service.
