I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but today's visit warrants a comment. I happened to be passing by, saw the place by chance, looked at the reviews, and decided to stop in. Even though I was the only non-Italian there, I was greeted like family. They quickly seated me at a table and patiently waited while I translated the menu from Italian and ordered, without any nervous sighs or sidelong glances. I really enjoyed the food; it tasted home-cooked, which is why it was only locals. Thank you so much for your hospitality! I highly recommend visiting!

A great discovery!
After an exhibition at Palazzo Diamanti, we tried this place and it was fantastic. The host was exceptional, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the service was prompt and accurate. All the dishes were delicious, and at the end they even treated me to an excellent rum. Well done, I'll try to book again for the next exhibition!

Delicious traditional dishes, knowledgeable staff, all very friendly and helpful. They even offered me a generous sample of salami da sugo, which I wanted to try but couldn't finish in its entirety. Cappellacci al ragù, cappelletti in brodo, the ever-present tenerina, and an excellent semifreddo. Two glasses of good Sangiovese, recommended as a pairing, cost just over €50 for two. Truly talented, honest, and all excellent quality. Highly recommended!

I booked a table for lunch for my husband and I a few days in advance, figuring it would be a good idea since it was Sunday lunch.
The welcome and service were courteous and friendly, and the service was prompt.
We ordered water and Sangiovese, and for the main courses, salami and Ferrarese bread as an appetizer, and rolled rabbit with artichoke cream and larded pork with spinach as our main courses. We enjoyed everything, topping off the meal with a warm tenerina dessert.
