A unique experience: impeccable service and excellent traditional food in an old-fashioned tavern setting with a beautiful courtyard. Superlative mascarpone.

The restaurant also offers a small outdoor space in a small internal courtyard. The dishes offered are both classic and original and are very tasty. The service is competent, friendly, and unobtrusive. The only downside is the bathroom: clean, but in serious need of updating, it's unworthy of a restaurant like this.

I'm pleased that the former Naval Insurance Building still houses the restaurant where the management of the time often went to have lunch or dinner.

Wonderful experience. Warmly welcomed by staff. The menu features regional specialties with unique aspects, and everything we had was delicious. The little courtyard is a lovely place to dine, with flowering vines covering the walls. Definitely recommend.

Our friend Barbara from Ferrara recommended this Osteria to us. We had a wonderful time, with a warm welcome and excellent service. The Osteria boasts comfortable, intimate spaces. The dishes are traditional Este fare, from cappellacci to salama da sugo, and the legendary tenerina. Everything is excellent, flavorful, and easy to digest, especially the salama da sugo, which is notoriously a "hot" dish for tourists! I personally recommend the cappelletti in capon and beef broth, followed by the salama with excellent mashed potatoes.
