28/06/2025: We had dinner at Pizzeria Il Focolare and we were really satisfied! The environment is welcoming and well-kept, with a warm and familiar atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The surrounding view is beautiful: ideal for relaxing and enjoying the evening. The pizza is excellent, well cooked, with fresh and tasty ingredients. The other dishes on the menu do not disappoint either! We will definitely be back. A place to keep among your favorites for a quiet and good evening!

22/06/2025: Unfortunately I did not find myself comfortable for several reasons ONE: when I asked the lady ...... I assume it is the owner .... if she could seat me on the internal veranda (since that evening the weather forecast gave the possibility of rain) the lady replied that she arranges the tables based on the order of the telephone call (which in my humble opinion the order is decided by her a priori HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO CALLS KNOW WHAT HIS ORDER IS) and then once I pointed out that I would like to eat on the internal veranda where there is a beautiful view of the panorama let's say that the owner must try in the best way to satisfy the customer and if I were in their place I would have done EVERYTHING TO PLEASE THE CUSTOMER they instead did not care at all in fact they made their ACQUAINTANCES who arrived after me go to the veranda, and the answer given to me (once I pointed this out to them) ... was: "but the ladies free the table at 9 pm because it is booked"..... which I would have done also if they had asked me as an option...... Second, Portions to say the least miserable just think of a puny plate of baked potatoes €5.50 in which there were actually 4 counted pieces of baked potatoes and my 13 year old daughter pointed out to me that not even a kindergarten child can get full with similar portions, not to mention the pizzas which were BABY pizzas not normal pizzas so much so that they were served on flat plates like those plates that each of us has in our kitchen INDECENT PRICE 3 pizzas 1 water 1 can of coke and 1 very poor plate of baked potatoes €44.50......FINALLY THE ONLY POSITIVE THING ABOUT THE PLACE IS The location and the cool climate that can be found on hot SUMMER evenings. - I don't recommend it there are better in the area-

09/05/2025: Fish in Sasso Marconi!!!! It takes over from the inns of the past, where however cleanliness comes first. Let's start with the bread made by them which is wonderful and delicious, the menu is very Carioca and the dishes are all very well prepared Portions quite generous. Discreet cellar.

19/06/2025: The friendliness and Sicilian flavor are the best. The owners and staff are impeccable. It's a shame that Sicily (the island in general) is so poorly looked after, so dirty and with very poor access.

13/06/2025: This hotel/restaurant is a real gem. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Great location, comfortable rooms and excellent service" thanks to Mrs. Vita and Mrs. Leana, we felt at home. The Restaurant? Very friendly staff Giampaolo and Company, and excellent quality food. Very welcoming and well-organized place. Fairly fast service. Well-cooked dishes and set with a touch of class. Fresh fish and reasonable prices.

16/06/2025: Stunning view. Good food. Nothing was outstanding or mindblowing but we had a great evening with beautiful view, friendly staff, quick service. For this kind of a place, it’s a bit weird that they don’t have toilet seats.

14/06/2025: We did not have reservations and they made it possible for us to eat. Everyone was kind and accommodating. I would full heartily recommend eating here again. Just remember to make reservations.

14/06/2025: Location meravigliosa, abbiamo cenato mella sala con il cammino, con archi a mattoni a vista. Pizza ottima , dolci sublimi, personale gentilissimo, meritano il 10 con la lode.

08/07/2025: A perfect meal. I thought I was home and my grandfather had cooked dinner....and if you knew my nonno , you know he was an excellent cook! quiet, off the beaten path, and a lovely atmosphere. Carissima ordered the stuffed scallops, stuffed salmon with fennel and orange and the chocolate soufflé with ice cream. I had the assorted cheese, the tortellini with beef and tomatoes and the apple pie with ice cream. The waiter even understood my limited italian and brought the coffee just the way we wanted it! It would be a difficult task to find any fault with any of our dishes...perhaps a touch more salt on the scallops....but im really nit picking....every thing was delicious, even the olive oil they put on the table to dip bread in was exceptional. For reference, I come from a big Italian family and eating good food is essential; its what we do; we all can cook because it IS that important; we know what's good....and Noblesse Oblige is exceptional! I neglected to take a photo of the tortellini, mi dispiace!🙏

21/06/2025: Dinner full of expectations that instead turned out to be a great disappointment. The staff were kind at the beginning, forcedly kind after having sent the first "maccheroni ragù polpo" back to the kitchen, in its entirety, inedible. As for the rest of the courses, they were average, nothing particularly appreciable. Another sore point was watching the waiters who took both the bread and the taralli with their hands and placed them in the baskets that were served at the tables, despite having the appropriate tongs available. Last bitter surprise: finding the whole dish sent back charged to the bill, 18 euros.

19/06/2025: Started well with the wine selection. The entree was a zucchini flower deep fried. Pretty tasteless. The main course, "veal sauteed in clarified butter" turned out to be a breaded veal cutlet cooked to death and served (literally) 45 minutes late. The wait staff and manager cruised by repeatedly without a word until I asked the manager where was our food. He and his crew are about the most clueless bnch I've ever seen. No apology for the service, no comment on the veal jerky, just a hurt look when I brought it up. Not recommended.

29/05/2025: Historic place, the interior with a period boisserie, never changed since I was a child in the 70s, is always enchanting. The last time I was there I was with some foreign colleagues, who really appreciated the pasta (6 dishes for four people!), while I have always gone there Solone only for the pizza. A pleasant discovery after many years. Pleasant and friendly service, never too intrusive.

27/05/2025: We sat outside and it was a nice little dead-end street with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters were friendly and food was decent, very good pizza but the rest we shared (some appetizers and starters) were just okay.

24/04/2025: I come to this restaurant often and I really enjoy it. The cuisine is Sardinian and there are many good dishes. The owner Claudio is very kind and the waiters are also very helpful.

08/07/2025: We were desperately looking for a restaurant where the kitchen was still open after 11pm, and this one finally was. We had the fried pizza, it was amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Thanks to Karim, Mohamed and the whole team who were all great.

07/07/2025: Everything was perfect. Food tasted amazing. They also made me something that was not in the menu. Our waiter was fantastic, he is fluent in English and helped us with everything. When we finished the food they offered us to try their local homemade liquor. Thank you!

07/07/2025: El Garagol: An Italian pearl on the Ionian Sea coast is a must-see for Ukrainians! This is simply an incredible place, and we are infinitely grateful that we were lucky enough to visit it! The El Garagol restaurant, located on the Ionian Sea coast in Italy, was a real discovery. The cuisine here is something out of this world! I would especially like to highlight the seafood: it is not only the freshest, but it is served in huge, truly generous portions. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece that literally melted in your mouth. And what is especially nice is that with such high quality and impressive portion sizes, the pricing policy turned out to be very attractive and affordable. The staff at El Garagol is simply amazing! Always smiling, attentive and ready to help with any question. Special thanks to the owner - he is a very cool person who personally cares about his guests and creates an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. We felt at home here. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent at El Garagol. We highly recommend this restaurant to all Ukrainians who will be vacationing in Italy on the Ionian Sea. This is the place where you want to return again and again to enjoy unforgettable taste, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere!

07/07/2025: Fish, but the cuisine in my opinion is not excellent. Kind, but the professionalism is not very high. On the seashore, but in the middle there is the road. It must be said that the bill is cheap.
