01/10/2025: We've been here several times, and the food was excellent every time, whether pizza or fish dishes. The staff was also exceptionally friendly. An absolute recommendation!

28/09/2025: This evening I had the pleasure of rediscovering this fantastic place. I wanted to get a takeout pizza. As soon as I arrived, the lady at the cash register invited me in with my dog. I ordered a Margherita pizza with prosciutto. After paying, I preferred to wait outside, and in less than 10 minutes, my pizza was brought out ready to go. The service was top-notch, the friendliness was undeniable, and the price was truly reasonable. The pizza quality was a 9+. Thank you for your kindness; I'll be back for dinner soon.

08/09/2025: We can say everything is normal, only that when I left I discovered that I had paid for 8 bottles of water instead of 2... thanks for charging me €15 like this👏👏 I'm only sorry because I used to come here often, but after this I don't think I'll go back, I don't think it's a mistake because you could make a mistake of a bottle or 2 but not 6 bottles of water.

This place is constantly evolving and innovating in terms of cuisine and events, while maintaining its core values: professionalism, originality, hospitality, and authenticity! At the refuge, you feel at home; it's a unique place! Isa and Cesare are wonderful!

30/09/2025: The food is good, prices are in line with the cost of living nowadays, at lunch it's a bit of a war to find a place since it's very popular with workers on business who, in addition to making huge tables, occupy the few parking spaces with trucks and vans😅 but if you go there for dinner the experience is totally positive ✔️

14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

10/10/2025: We had a very good meal here—not for the first time. Grilled trout and Fritzi the Mare. It was reasonably priced.

27/09/2025: A true gem in the center of Lignano Sabbiadoro. A welcoming location, run with great professionalism by Annalisa and Mauro. The service is meticulously cared for by the entire staff. The menu satisfies even the most discerning and experienced palates, with quality and refined dishes. There's a special children's menu, as well as paper and pencils for drawing. The dishes are beautifully presented, with generous portions. The wine list is excellent. The prices are in keeping with the quality, service, and location. A rose at every table will warm your heart. We'll be back.

26/09/2025: What can I say? The food is truly delicious, wonderful dishes made with high-quality, carefully selected ingredients. Luca, the owner, clearly cooks with passion and love, and it shines through in his dishes. The price is truly fair for what you get, and I definitely recommend it!

13/10/2025: Food was very unique but not tasty at all. I can’t think of a single dish I really enjoyed and a lot of it was plain unpleasant. The venue was beautiful. No one offered us a drinks list and the sommelier who was meant to come over never did so we didn’t get drinks. They make you tell them two courses in advance if you want to use the toilet which is overkill in my opinion.

13/10/2025: The only question to ask yourself before eating at Venissa is: am I ready? Venissa isn't a culinary experience, but much more. Before beginning the tasting experience, you need to understand and appreciate the restaurant's concept: respect for local cuisine, respect for the local area, and for raw materials in all their forms, the use of uncommon ingredients, and the ability to see beyond. That said, Venissa offers two tasting experiences that change frequently depending on what the local area has to offer at any given time. The cuisine is primarily fish and vegetable-based. Homemade produce is the estate's strong point. The ingredients aren't necessarily high-quality, but they're treated with respect and creativity, minimizing waste. The staff is young and highly trained, each capable of engaging you emotionally in the experience. The beverage pairings are highly refined, and the evolution of the food is emphasized by the diverse products offered, not just wine but also drinks, kombucha, beer, cider, and more. An elegant location that reflects the concept of respect for materials and nature, everything in harmony, nothing left to chance. We will never stop thanking you for the wonderful experience. Elegant and refined. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and very friendly. Highly recommended!
