26/10/2025: I've known this place for several years, but this time it amazed me. There were three of us, the whole family. We tried an appetizer, two first courses, and a second course. All excellent and of high quality. Superb dessert (a yogurt mousse...) Seasonal but superb menu! Average price.... Recommended!! And the recommendation continues... this time with a porcini mushroom menu... (there's also a white and black truffle one) and to say EXCELLENT is truly an understatement!!

08/10/2025: Relaxed atmosphere and high-quality products. Excellent appetizers and ingredients. Prices are reasonable and consistent with the menu. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

04/09/2025: La botte Stresa, a refined and stylish place, small and welcoming, the owner Matilde is always sunny, the staff and dining room are well-trained, the cuisine is delicious and will make you lose your mind.

09/11/2025: Walked in at 2pm on a Sunday with no reservation, and they said they couldn't serve us, they had no tables. There was a long, empty table (or tables) right inside the door downstairs. All we wanted was pasta and maybe lasagna, but I wasn't going to try to question or argue in English nor Italian. No thank you. Skip this place if you can. They tried to apologize but not worth our time. Bad service. Bad place. Recommended by our hotel then denied service. Better places all around.

02/11/2025: Without commenting on the mandatory reservation and especially the two-seater service, I'd like to point out that it took us almost two hours to eat (including a 1.5-hour wait)... way too long, the pizza never arrived... Disappointed...

29/10/2025: We had the pleasure of enjoying our wedding dinner with family at the beautiful Le Gemme. There's only one thing to say: Bravo! It's not just about a meal – what they create here is true art. We were captivated from beginning to end and are still absolutely thrilled, even days after the wedding. The creative, magnificent, and fresh creations by Chef Andrea and the absolutely superb service from Lara are second to none. We felt completely at ease, enjoyed the breathtaking view, and are eager to take a cooking class so we can see them again. If you're visiting the beautiful Lake Garda, Torri del Benaco, Le Gemme should definitely be on everyone's list. It must also be said that the location is unique not only because of the view but also because of the incredible attention to detail. Thank you so much, Lara and Andrea! You gave us an unforgettable evening, and we can't wait to visit you again.

20/10/2025: Cooking workshop of Italian food, in a stunning location with a stunning view of Lake Garda. The hosts Lara and Andrea are pleasant and professional. They taught us how to prepare authentic Italian food of a high standard that was very tasty! Recommended wholeheartedly

25/10/2025: My favorite place in Veneto! After several visits here ( a cooking class with friends, a two-day basket-weaving workshop, a date day learning to make the original lasagna recipe, and most recently another group class), I can honestly say this place feels like a true Italian “home away from home.” Every visit has been warm, hands-on, and full of laughter. Mauro and Bari make you feel like family while teaching traditional techniques with so much pride and passion. If you’re in the Veneto region and want an authentic, heart-filled experience that combines incredible food, community, and creativity, this is the place to go!

12/10/2025: The winding path leading up to the restaurant next to a small church is breathtaking. The owners are delightful and highly knowledgeable. The menu ranges from exceptional garden dishes to seafood and meat dishes: incredible flavors. The atmosphere is calm and warm; only the soothing background music could be changed. The courtesy and empathy of the lady in charge are a huge plus. Recommended for those seeking an intimate, high-quality dinner. The bill is balanced, without being overpriced.

26/08/2025: Very alternative food, one of the few restaurants offering options beyond seafood. For example, falafel, shrimp, tortilla, etc. There are various vegetarian dishes on the menu. There's no sea view, but we found parking easily. Excellent value for money.
