A very beautiful restaurant, but not speaking Italian, we quickly felt a bit awkward about it. The portions are rather small for the price; we were a little disappointed in that respect. However, the ambiance and decor are truly lovely and unusual, almost like a fairytale.

The food was excellent and the service impeccable, but what was most impressive was the restaurant's decor, which, combined with the background music, created a truly pleasant atmosphere!

We chose an appetizer that was no longer available, then we ordered the risotto, which came with undercooked rice. However, we complained, and the dishes were changed, and everything was resolved. In any case, it was a hassle. The decor is quite beautiful, but it's impossible to take photos or walk around to see everything because of the number of tables.

I've been to this restaurant twice, and both times I've had a positive experience. The food is good, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is enchanting, almost fairytale-like. It's one of those places worth trying at least once in your life.

We had dinner at Urbani two evenings in a row because we liked it that much. We were very well looked after by the waiting staff, who provided attentive but never over-the-top service. We particularly enjoyed the Vitello Tonnato. The portion, as an antipasto, was generous enough to share; we didn’t! We also tried the Cheesecake Salata con Tartare di Fassona, a very tasty combination of beef tartare and a cheese mousse; it was most refreshing. The Cheesecake Salata con Pomodorini, Burrata, Grissini Rubatà e Crema al Basilico had a lovely texture and a subtle but not insipid flavour. For our main courses (primi and secondi), over the two nights we had lamb chops, Agnolotti al Sugo d’Arrosto, “Le Polpettine” meatballs, and Grissinopoli con Dadolata di Pomodori, a veal schnitzel with crumbs made from grissini rather than bread. All the dishes were delicious, though the sugo for the agnolotti was too salty for my taste. We could only manage one pudding, Il Fungetti, which involved a lot of chocolate. The people at the next table had the Antipasti Urbani, which was basically a selection of all the antipasti dishes, intended for sharing. It looked very interesting, and if we had had another evening free, we would have returned to try it. Although we were in Turin and the restaurant serves wonderful Piedmontese food, the heritage of the place is Tuscan, and there are hints of this on the menu. They generously served us Vin Santo and Cantuccini at the end of the meal, and it took me right back to Florence. What a wonderful way to round off a delicious Piedmontese meal with something quintessentially Tuscan. This is a very popular restaurant, so book ahead or turn up shortly after 7 pm to bag a table.
