08/11/2025: If you want something local, real, incredibly good, completely unique, fantastic service and run by people who love what they do…then choose this place. We wish we had a larger appetite for more dishes because they all were fantastic. The fritto misto was perfectly fried and salted, the gnocchi with fish was tender with a wonderful broth, the paccheri with straciatella was out of this world good! The house wine was delicious…and the dolce?? A raspberry, fried pear, whipped cream and biscotti “tiramisu”??? Worth every single incredible bite. We will be back every time we are in Trieste.

11/11/2025: 5* overall, but to summarize: Let's start with the service, which I would describe as punctual, discreet, and absolutely perfect. The food—every dish is prepared with love, respecting the organoleptic qualities of each ingredient. The result is undoubtedly a well-balanced dish where every bite is a delight for the palate. The presentation of the dishes—here too, you can sense the care and attention, offering what could be described as small works of art. In conclusion, I'd like to say that it's truly difficult to find a restaurant where you feel like a guest and not a customer. Kudos to Raffaele and his staff, who know how to give me an excellent experience every time I visit. Well done everyone!!! Edit: Mine was a business dinner with about ten guests, all extremely surprised and satisfied by this corner of paradise. See you next time 💪🥰

07/12/2025: Absolutely amazing food. Both starters and main dishes were suprisingly good. Mrs. Jolanta was very helpful and offered us a lot of insight not only in the food, but the Sicilian way of life. Definetely recommend this place, it's hidden in a small street and is very climatic. If you look for a true Sicilian experience, not an overcrowded touristy restaurant then it is definetely place to go!

06/12/2025: A casual place found in extremis, the cuisine isn't the lightest, but Sicily is a bit like that! The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and the place is on different levels, but it contributes to privacy and silence!

13/10/2025: What a hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived it was absolutely stunning. We were greeted and shown around and given the choice of 2 rooms which was such a pleasant surprise but a tough choice! The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking and we never tired of it - waking up in the morning to the Dolomites was something else and seeing the silhouette of the moon was equally as impressive. The location is great for various ski lifts as well as numerous hikes. Just as impressive as the view has to be the food that's served as part of the half board. Everything that is served is fresh, tasteful and so well presented, it's safe to say this was our favourite place we ate on our honeymoon. There was a choice each night of a meat, fish or vegetable option so you could always be happy with what you were getting. One day we will be back as the service, views, food and room were all second to none and we absolutely loved our stay!

10/09/2025: This is a small, family-run hotel with a good number of facilities but stunning views of the mountains. As with most families, we stayed half-board and it was great. I'm a somewhat fussy eater but when a dish contained something I didn't like (coffee or celery for example) they could exclude it. The Michelin chef clearly knows their stuff as every dish was delicious, if not a little fussy. The menu changes each night. Breakfast was a served buffet affair and absolutely fine for what it is. We had a junior suite on the top floor and although we suffered a fair number of bangs to the head (being well over 6' doesn't help) the room was lovely. We didn't draw the curtains as waking up to the mountain view cannot be beaten. The town has a few cafés and restaurants if you are looking for a meal away from the hotel. It's a 100m climb (around 2km to the centre) but a fairly gentle slope up. Would happily stay here again and indeed plan to.

12/11/2025: Lovely country hotel in a beautiful setting near Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples. The room was adequate, the breakfast was spectacular, and the restaurant was also excellent, where we had dinner one evening. Highly recommended.

15/08/2025: The meal was perfect! I was impressed by the kindness and effort to explain everything to me, even though I couldn't speak English! I was so happy to have this meal on my last day in Italy! I don't speak Italian, so I ordered from photos, and they recommended dishes that were as similar as possible, making it a delightful meal!

01/12/2025: An institution! Epic dishes and unparalleled kindness. A blast from the past when we locals used it as a pre-dinner drink. Coming back after 20 years, I have to say that everything is as perfect as ever. A little suggestion? Maybe change those cold lights and replace them with warmer ones to make the atmosphere less sterile. Keep up the good work!

09/11/2025: This spaghetti restaurant in Manera was a pleasant discovery. The place isn't very big, but the owner, even though we hadn't called ahead, managed to get us a meal. The appetizers are very generous. The real highlight, of course, are the first courses: a choice of penne, fusilli, and spaghetti, followed by agnolotti, gnocchi, and tagliatelle. But the gluten-free pasta is a must-have. Before choosing your sauces, you need to decide on your portion: regular (200g), small (100g), or generous (300g) for those who want to roll out the door. The sauces are varied: meat-based, fish-based, vegetarian, unusual, and creamy, all at more than fair prices. We tried the tagliatelle alla norma, the Aida gnocchi with stracchino, chopped pistachios, and gorgonzola, and the nocino agnolotti with fontina, chopped hazelnuts, cream, and tomato. Regular portions are already generous, delicious, and, above all, easy to digest! To round out our fabulous meal, we ordered a homemade cake called "nocciotella," made with sponge cake filled with hazelnut cream and hazelnuts, served warm. I love hazelnuts, and I can say it was amazing! Kudos to the service, delivered with simplicity and professionalism, making you feel at ease. Kudos to the friendliness, quality, helpfulness, and cleanliness. We'll definitely be back with friends, but this time we'll book ahead.

06/12/2025: Fabulous lunch! I rarely give 5 stars, but I think in this case they're all deserved. Everything was consistent, and yet it continued to amaze me: the location, the decor, the dishes, the food, the service... I could go on, except that lunch was quite short due to my commitments. We'll be back soon. Well done.

06/12/2025: A cozy and welcoming little restaurant just outside the historic center, a stone's throw from the cathedral and the bar famous for its krumiri. Friendly staff, quick service. Good breadsticks, delicious agnolotti, and a very pleasant tartare, including the egg yolk sauce, which went very well. Recommended if you're passing through Casale. Very fair bill, excellent value.

12/11/2025: The most pleasant surprise of our stay in Venice. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. Prices are more than reasonable considering the quality. The charcuterie platter is a delight. The meat and fish dishes are also excellent. I recommend it, but it's probably wise to book, especially in the evening. We were lucky enough to get a table by arriving first thing when they opened, but it filled up very quickly.
