12/10/2025: Excellent location with a panoramic view of the lake, elegant venue, good service, very good appetizer with assorted seafood crostini, good first course with mussels but particularly salty, and pasta, in my opinion, undercooked, cannelloni with lamb ragù excellent, prices a bit high, probably for selection, as evidenced by the fact that it was a beautiful Sunday and there were only a few guests in the dining room. A tip: more reasonable prices. Overall a positive experience.

05/10/2025: Wonderful and attentive staff. They are also able to cater for gluten free, we had the braised beef and the sirloin (gluten free) both were lovely! They also had gluten free bread and can do pasta dishes gluten free.

10/10/2025: Milanese risotto with ossobuco and elephant ear is divine. The ear is truly almost as big as a pizza, with a delicious crispy coating.

07/10/2025: Came highly recommended. Food was good and I enjoyed seeing Nebbiolo, Barbaresco, and Barolo on the menu. I tried the meatballs and ossobucco.

04/10/2025: No waiting for pizza because we arrived at 6:30 pm, clean place, no problem with the small dog, thin pizzas and a little burnt and poor in ingredients.... Too bad we won't be back...

12/10/2025: TUSCANY Perfect lunch with authentic Tuscan flavors and warmth: traditional bruschetta with chicken livers and phenomenal polenta with mushrooms. Very tasty first courses, tordelli with truffles and pappardella with wild boar. To finish, a truly exquisite Fiorentina steak.

11/10/2025: We had a great experience at this restaurant on our first visit to Florence 10 years ago. We decided to return, which was a terrible idea. It was 8:15 PM and we didn't have a reservation, but the customer service representative told us we'd have to wait about 30 minutes for a table. We agreed, as we really wanted to repeat the experience we'd had in the past. We went for a walk and returned after 20 minutes. We waited the agreed-upon time and asked again about the table. This time, we were told we'd have to wait another 10 minutes. That was fine. We sat in the chairs right in front of the restaurant, waiting to be called. To our surprise, several people who also didn't have a reservation arrived at the restaurant and were quickly welcomed and seated, including a group of about 10 people. There were three of us, and we really didn't understand why we weren't called. Until, after an hour of waiting and seeing another group of four people without a reservation easily get a table, we lost our patience and went to the man serving customers. He simply said he hadn't called us because he hadn't seen us, even though we'd been sitting at the front of the restaurant for over 40 minutes! And he even had the audacity to offer us the worst table in the restaurant for dinner. Even tired and with headphones on, we found what happened incredibly disrespectful and decided to look for another restaurant in Florence. Terrible service! It was a shame, because this negative experience simply ruined the good memories we had of this restaurant. Never to return!

07/09/2025: The staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. The dishes are excellent, perfectly reflecting and respecting local tradition—highly recommended. If you're in Sapri and don't know where to dine, stop by!

21/09/2025: I could sum up the experience in one word: "top." We tried the more substantial tasting menu, and it was worth it. The ambiance is truly original, it exudes a sense of peace, the service is elegant, and the cutlery is changed after each course. Last but not least, the food... truly original choices, the duck trio dedicated to Goethe and the Mater Matuta appetizer were fantastic. And, as usual, the final question: would I go back? Absolutely, especially since it's not close to home.

12/08/2025: It's my favorite restaurant. I just attended a tasting evening. The bread basket alone was worth the visit. Each dish was better than the last, and I had a second helping of gnocchi.

15/10/2025: You might book for two and four show up. You might have to finish a presentation and need space. The music, even if very pleasant, might be just a touch louder than your thoughts. Alessandro Stecca, without ever faltering, will cook up the perfect solution for you. He'll find space for four, enough to finish your work, adjust the background music, and also bring you a prosecco—good, not the usual fizzy thing—and an appetizer of fresh vegetables and anchovies, followed by a creamy chickpea and prawn soup. In short, he'll discreetly pamper you, letting you know that the work is finally done and your appetite has grown... so what? Passatelli and clams galore, warm cuttlefish and prawn salad, a mixed fried fish and vegetables—and I love fried food and I don't forgive anyone who recommends it: if it's not crunchy, dry, flavorful enough to taste the fish and vegetables... in short, just like Alessandro's! I'd say "as good as mine." But how wonderful to find it ready... it all sails on the placid waves of a dry Albana from Ravenna. Then a coffee to remember and a bill that puts you at peace with the world: in Milan I'd pay for a pizza and little more! The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, bright but not blinding, very spacious, and doesn't reverberate with the voices of other tables. No cooking odors, let alone on your clothes. What more could you ask for??? I'll definitely be back soon. Thanks Alessandro!

05/10/2025: The place was nice, but the food was awful. Unfortunately, I came across a so-called "gran crudo" (raw fish) that was poorly preserved, with shrimp and other seafood reeking of sewer. The oysters, even in their shells, were already dead. I tried to sort it out, but I should have thrown it all away. As expected, it gave me stomach aches all night and the resulting aftermath. An experience not to be repeated.

02/10/2025: We loved this restaurant so much that we went twice during our short stay in Milan. Nicolo the manager is exceptional and provided great service both nights! We didn’t have a reservation but they were accommodating to us. This truly feels like a locals spot. We will be back next time we are in Milan!

13/09/2025: I've been eating lunch at Ristorante La Piazza on the second floor of Piazza dei Mestier on Via Jacopo Durandi in Turin for a couple of times recently. The food is sparse, and of mediocre quality. The staff is inattentive, despite Piazza dei Mestieri being a training ground for chefs and waiters. The prices are high for the quality and quantity. The only positives are the beautiful terrace and the well-maintained location. I don't think I'll be going there again.

04/07/2025: Personally I found myself well. Kind and helpful. Excellent cleaning of the room and its bathroom. Excellent also the dishes served in the restaurant. I appreciated that the menu indicated the gluten free dishes and the possible absence/presence of other allergens. Also the restaurant staff kind and helpful.

19/10/2025: Food was ok but not as good as usual for Italy. Calcio e pépé was drowned in cream sauce that's not part of traditional recipe. Focaccia was actually a disappointing pizza and did not ressemble at all focaccia. The place was full of tourists and recipes have obviously been adapted for them. As a général rule, one should only eat where the Italian go.

17/09/2025: Went there for a quick lunch. 2 small salads, 2 paninis. 1 water, 1 coffee, 1 Coca-Cola, and a small beer. Including a topping, €70. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. Pigeons on the tables. Food and service were okay. But never again.
