20/10/2025: Highly recommended, the pizza and octopus are super good, a highly recommended place in the area.

20/10/2025: I hadn't had good experiences with service in Italy, but this place was a huge relief, especially in that regard: the waiters were super friendly, willing to help, and even though they didn't speak fluent Spanish, they made an effort to understand us. That's where my experience started off well. We were greeted with tostones (fried plantains) and a glass of champagne 🥂 We had better service anywhere 🥰 The food: delicious! We tried octopus on a bed of potatoes as a starter: delicious! The octopus was super soft and delicious. We also had a pizza with prosciutto 🤤 This place is more than just a restaurant, it's a balm in the middle of a trip.

I will definitely return next year with my wife and son to sample the restaurant's specialties and enjoy the refined, warm atmosphere.

11/12/2025: It's now a must-visit when I'm in Udine. The dishes are all delicious, carefully prepared, and the chef's touch is original (the fig and amaretti risotto is delicious, as are all the risottos and soups I've tried). However, there's no shortage of tradition (the frico and brovada are excellent) or attentiveness to the customer's needs. The kindness and friendliness of the owners makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

22/10/2025: The Rikaroka hotel is much more than you expect: it is NOT the usual B&B where the rooms are the recovery of old furniture, the lights don't work, the bathroom is small and the sheets are those recovered from home...NOT HERE, EVERYTHING IS MODERN, SPACIOUS EVEN BEYOND THE NECESSARY, HOME AUTOMATION IS EVERYWHERE AND YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE IN A ROMANTIC 4* HOTEL. The Rikaroka is Antonio!!, excellent at welcoming and incredibly friendly. Together with his wife (tireless) and children, he manages to provide excellent service even in the restaurant on the ground floor: very good dishes, excellent pizza, and very fast but attentive service. It also has several garages to leave the cars, all within 40/50 meters of each other. We were his guests in June, and I apologize for not having reviewed it before. We will definitely return, having relatives in Albenga, as it has now become our reference hotel.

04/10/2025: The chef picks his nose while working the counter, not to mention his shoes have been dirty for months. Some corners of the place are dusty (for example, the counter supporting the chef statue). The floor is clean only in a few places. They keep cleaning products on the counter, stuck to the food, or where the coffee is made, an excellent place to avoid cross-contamination. Two waiters are awake, the others are not. It's always chaotic. A chaotic place that has a new style mixed with the old trattoria. It's a bit expensive, the dishes are generous. The gentleman who I assume is the owner is always shouting.

20/11/2025: Entering from the square dominated by the magnificent tower, you reach a splendid, welcoming vaulted room on the lower floor. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. Behind an archway lies the open kitchen. Prompt and friendly service with attention to detail. Warm bread is served with a tasting of their own locally produced olive oil. A vast selection of wines is available. The menu features quality ingredients. The bigoli with crispy bacon is excellent. Main courses are all meat, from a variety of sources. Good grill options. Interesting desserts and spirits. The homemade Amarolive liqueur is a must-try. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the restaurant.

17/11/2025: A beautiful, meticulously renovated farmhouse, an excellent location for events. The menu is good, but it could use a little more attention to those with food intolerances, perhaps by offering the same dishes lactose-free instead of different, less appetizing options. Very professional service.

16/11/2025: Tasting menu for €55 plus a €4 cover charge. Water included.

12/11/2025: The best restaurant I've ever eaten at on Lake Como. Everything was delicious, and the staff were always smiling. We went there three times during our stay and each time we were stuffed. The portions were large! The prices were also very reasonable. For a moment, I felt like a real Italian. The restaurant also serves desserts, which aren't listed on the menu, but after asking the waiter, we get a full list of what's being served that day.

09/11/2025: My sweetheart and I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. Everything was perfect: truly excellent food, lovely and very welcoming staff, and a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is admittedly far from the more "touristy" towns, but it's so worth it! There's absolutely nothing to complain about. A big THANK YOU!

08/12/2025: A truly pleasant experience, the place is very welcoming and truly charming; the only flaw is the acoustics, which aren't exactly optimal. The staff is extremely friendly. The dishes are excellent, especially the first courses (the tagliatelle verdi are definitely worth mentioning, truly exquisite and delicate), but the second courses are also truly excellent. I highly recommend it, especially for its location, an exceptional village in the Val d'Orcia that's definitely worth a visit: Monticchiello.

04/12/2025: Creative food, cosy & shick ambience. Incredible overall experience! The owner, Rocco, is one of the most passionate and dedicated restaurant owners I ever met. He serves alongside his team, engages with guests and is omnipresent in the positive sense of the word. A must try for food lovers and enthusiasts who visit Siena! Thank you, Rocco & team for the memorable dinner we had!
