03/09/2025: I honestly don't think this place is worth the hype. After reading so many good reviews we booked a lunch there. The reservation was not necessary because the place was absolutely empty. We had tartare and beetroot tartare and then pasta with truffles and pasta with yellow tomatoes (this was absolutely the worst of the dishes we ordered). Menu seemed interesting but all the dishes we had were just mediocre, nothing special, they lacked the twist, flavour, the taste was very boring. All of them required additional seasoning. So we left disappointed. I don't see how this place could get Michelin recommendation, maybe it changed a lot since then? We had plenty of better meals in Tuscany. Yet this place is more expensive than most of the places in the area. On the good note, the stuff was nice and very attentive. Overall, I think you can easly skip this place if you are in the area and look for something else.

23/08/2025: We stopped for lunch by the sea, and it was worth it. Excellent, from the appetizers to the first courses, and finally a fried fish platter. Everything was delicious. Polite and attentive service. Prices are in line with those on the coast.

21/08/2025: For at least fifteen years, I've had the pleasure of stopping for lunch or dinner at this excellent restaurant, which has never betrayed my trust. Indeed, it's a crescendo of quality, courtesy, and helpfulness. Excellent value for money, with truly excellent seafood dishes and extraordinary service, especially from Gelsomina and Dario, not to mention Stefania's excellent coffee. Raffaele and Antonino complete the picture with their beach service. In a word: TOP

19/07/2025: Every mouthful was a delight! Expensive for Sicily but worth every Euro. The mixed appetisers were particularly delicious! We were outside in a side street, not photogenic or pretty but enjoyable.

03/08/2025: Me and my girlfriend arrived late evening on a Sunday and found this pearl! They stayed open when we arrived, the last dinner guest had already left. Best food so far on our trip in Italy. The balsamico meat was amazing and so tender! Also amazing service!!! Our waiter was so kind and made the whole experience a 10/10. Chef Angelino has a rare talent: his dishes are balanced, creative, and always impeccable in both flavor and presentation. The maître d', who welcomes you with kindness and a genuine smile, is attentive and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is elegant, with meticulous attention to detail, and a style that combines refinement and Sicilian soul. One of the best restaurants I've tried in Sicily. Highly recommended. Lorenzo

22/07/2025: A place not to be missed! Magnificent decor in a superb stone-vaulted room. The dishes are delicious and the service impeccable. We received a very warm welcome, even with four children! Wide selection of wines, excellent grappa, and probably the best vongole I've ever tasted. The tiramisu was also excellent, as were the seafood appetizers. A truly delightful experience!

11/08/2025: A restaurant right in the city center with just a few tables, but truly excellent service and high-quality seafood. The only drawback is the soundproofing, which makes it difficult to have a conversation without raising your voice.
