20/10/2025: I hadn't had good experiences with service in Italy, but this place was a huge relief, especially in that regard: the waiters were super friendly, willing to help, and even though they didn't speak fluent Spanish, they made an effort to understand us. That's where my experience started off well. We were greeted with tostones (fried plantains) and a glass of champagne 🥂 We had better service anywhere 🥰 The food: delicious! We tried octopus on a bed of potatoes as a starter: delicious! The octopus was super soft and delicious. We also had a pizza with prosciutto 🤤 This place is more than just a restaurant, it's a balm in the middle of a trip.

20/10/2025: Highly recommended, the pizza and octopus are super good, a highly recommended place in the area.

21/10/2025: In Palermo for work, I decide to try the meat and cannoli at Piana degli Albanesi. The place is small but cozy and clean, seating about thirty. Service is average. The meat and cannoli are excellent.

08/10/2025: This restaurant is very nice, but I can’t give it five stars. My husband ordered a salad and it looked and tasted like it came out of a bag. His steak was good but not great. On the other hand my truffle pasta was amazing. My side of sweet and sour baby onions was a delightful surprise. I ordered them out of curiosity and loved them!!! The service was great. Our waiter spoke English really well which was very helpful for us as our Italian isn’t the best.

02/10/2025: Starters and wine where amazing. Steak was ice cold and after mentioning it, they just simply re heated it. So not medium rare as ordered. Ice cold plates….. the ginifaul was slightly bland. We got free shots, so that helped! Really sweet personal.

20/10/2025: A beautiful Italian restaurant located in Somma Lombardo. The staff are welcoming and attentive. There is always a great menu selection. I travel a lot to the Vergiate region and I always try to visit Corte Visconti. Great for business dinners. Well done to the Corte Vicsonti team, your restaurant is a hidden gem. Looking forward to my next visit.

In addition to the top-quality cuisine and pleasant atmosphere, we want to give special thanks to two people who made our visit even more enjoyable: A huge thank you to the sommelier. We trusted his advice, and he was spot-on in our selection, explaining the wine to us with great expertise and passion. Another heartfelt thank you to the gentleman serving us. He was impeccable: professional, discreet, and always smiling. A true added value. Thanks to these two, we felt even more at ease. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

03/10/2025: Contro Corrente was our stop after our trip to Africa! The atmosphere was beautiful, with a simple, elegant, and clean style. The welcome was professional. We had exquisite appetizers with refined flavors. Two first courses, the delicate cacio e pepe. The wine was excellent! And to finish, the desserts were inviting and delicious. It will definitely be a stop on our return journey after all our travels here in Fiumicino.

03/09/2025: Very refined, nice decor and very friendly service

03/09/2025: This was a really mixed experience. Lows: - My pregnant wife being served raw then undercooked langoustine successively. (It was a dish served undercooked but the waiter recommended it as an option reassuring us that they could modify the recipe to cook the langoustine through. My impression was that the chefs did not agree and stubbonly refused to cook the shellfish to a temperature suitable for a pregnant woman!) - Very strong flavour contrasts which mostly didn't work. (Mackerel with onion chutney, scorpion fish with a highly pungent bisque sauce, squid with an intense sabzi-esque dried spinach sauce, grouper with a fancy version of hoi sin sauce.) Really intense flavours which totally overwhelmed the fish. I wonder if perhaps the chef doesnt actually like fish? Certainly they are not interested in maximising the flavour of the fish served, but masking it with intense sauces. Or maybe the chef is a heavy smoker? And has lost the subtler parts of their palette. Regardless - most of the dishes, while interesting, were not actually nice or enjoyable to eat. - The price. The price undoubtedly reflects the considerable effort put into this food. But it feels more like a work in progress menu. Paying such a high price (€100 pp) stings when you don't really enjoy the majority of what you are eating. - Tiny amount of fish on each dish. (Except for the cerviche appetiser which was very generous). Highs: - The waiter was lovely and attentive. - The decor is beautiful and really imaginatively done - The wine is excellent and the waiter recommended great wines to go with the fish. - The first amuse bouche and the last (a selection of tiny pattiserie to be eaten in a specific order) were really outstanding and delicious. - The gurnard cerviche with grapefruit juice was the one time when the intense flavour contrasts worked brilliantly. It was  impressive and delicious. Overall, if you have money to burn and you want a bit of an adventure, then maybe this will be fun. But if you want to to guarentee enjoying everything - go somewhere more affordable which cooks things more simply and traditionally in a way which emphasises the flavour profile of the fish and almost certainly gives you more than a mouthful of fish per course!

27/09/2025: This restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed traditional dishes like agnolotti and bollito misto, accompanied by select Piedmontese wines. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is ideal for a quiet dinner with friends or family. The wooden details and decorations make the atmosphere warm and familiar.

05/10/2025: We came for dinner after a long walk. We didn't have to wait long for the food, but what we did receive left much to be desired. We ordered pizza, a Caprese salad, and tea. All the issues were with the pizza. Not only was it burnt, but they didn't even cut it. Either this is how it's supposed to be, or they're being rude to customers. This left a huge negative impression on our visit.

05/10/2025: We passed by this place while wandering through the streets of Rome. When we saw the food, everything looked delicious, but we continued on, even though we decided to come back for lunch just a few steps away. The place is simply wonderful, the food SPECTACULAR, and the staff's service was 10/10. Once seated, we browsed the recommendations, and it deserves all the good reviews it has. The food menu is very reasonably priced, and they don't charge you the percentage that many places in Rome already include on the bill without warning. Therefore, they definitely deserve to leave a good tip. When I return to Rome, I'll book again; it's also in a fantastic location.
