17/02/2025: We had lunch in this magical place. The atmosphere is relaxing thanks to the lady in the room, super patient and kind. Very good menu, we started with the first courses, and some second course tastings. We finished it all off with some dream cannoli. You can feel the quality of the products, highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

The cuisine reflects tradition and originality, very fresh ingredients and preparations with attention to every detail. For the wine pairing we let ourselves be guided by Christian, who was very knowledgeable on the subject and this made everything even more engaging. Impeccable service from all the staff who, with their kindness and professionalism, made us feel like special guests rather than customers. We will be back soon :)

19/03/2025: Esperienza semplicemente eccellente alla Taverna dell'Artista, dove abbiamo trascorso una serata fantastica sotto ogni punto di vista. Ogni portata ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso per qualità, sapori e originalità. Gli antipasti hanno subito conquistato il nostro palato: la cena è iniziata con una pizza deliziosa, incredibilmente leggera, croccante e digeribile, accompagnata da un raffinato tagliere che esaltava prodotti locali di altissima qualità come il Prosciutto di Carpegna, tagliato finemente e dal sapore delicato e inconfondibile, e i Carciofi biologici di Montelupone, teneri e dal gusto piacevolmente aromatico. A seguire, i risotti che sono la vera specialità della casa, oltre una polenta anch'essa con i buonissimi carciofi di Montelupone. La tagliata servita su pietra era tanto gustosa quanto tenera. Abbiamo accompagnato le portate con una bottiglia di un sorprendente Morro d'Alba, vino rosso dalla struttura elegante, piacevolmente intenso e aromatico, perfettamente abbinato e in grado di esaltare ogni portata, rendendo la cena ancora più memorabile. L'ambiente della Taverna dell'Artista si conferma caldo, accogliente, raffinato ma informale allo stesso tempo, ideale per trascorrere serate piacevoli sia in compagnia sia in coppia. Servizio impeccabile, personale cortese, attento e disponibile, capace di accompagnare ogni portata con competenza, discrezione e simpatia. Nel complesso, una cena straordinaria sotto tutti i punti di vista, dall'antipasto al dessert. Rapporto qualità-prezzo assolutamente coerente con l'alto livello dei piatti e del servizio ricevuto. Un locale assolutamente da consigliare per chi cerca autenticità, gusto, qualità e una splendida atmosfera.

18/03/2025: Famous for the use of truffles and porcini mushrooms, I wanted to try the polenta with porcini mushroom and truffle sauce, unfortunately the polenta for my taste was too liquid and unbound as well as very bland, the sauce was quite good but also a little bland. I tasted the risotto always with porcini mushrooms and grated truffle and this was done well but still lacked a bit of salt, it must be the chef's choice to add little salt to his dishes. Lastly, a mixed grill with lamb chops, sausage and pork steak. Decent ribs, very tasty and tasty sausage while the steak was overcooked and dry. Friendly and kind staff. Room divided into several rooms with a covered veranda divided from the outside with plastic sheets. The restaurant is located in the historic center of a small village, Montelupone, which is very well kept and welcoming and is worth a visit.

02/03/2025: Excellent melted ice cream, but today I had 4 types of mini cold seeds and biscuits......they are full of sugar and very wrong combinations....but most of all it feels like eating sugar cubes.....never again
