Location semplice ma curata e molto accogliente, personale gentilissimo e professionale, con un' attenzione ed un' occhio che raramente si trovano, piatti ottimi e delicati. Mi sono sentita accolta con calore appena varcato l' ingresso e tutto è stato perfetto. Squisito il pane fatto in casa e cotto nel forno a legna, ancora tiepido. La cameriera ci ha letto nel pensiero ed ha portato olio e sale. Abbiamo ordinato due caffè ma quando mi stava per essere servito il mio, la ragazza ha voluto a tutti i costi portarlo indietro e rifarmelo perché stavo ancora gustando il loro pane. Un' attenzione che va "oltre"... Bravissimi, continuate così.

If you decide to visit the Marche in the area between Pesaro and Urbino there is Gradara, a very characteristic medieval village, its fortress, the rooms where Paolo Malatesta and Francesca da Rimini met, the castle with all its story, the path of love, the walk of the patrol, is the whole story that surrounds it from Dante's canto V "Inferno"... Visited during the Christmas holidays it is all illuminated and characterized by songs and poetry...fascinating place of history and narratives...

Abbiamo scelto tutti la selezione di antipasti (30 euro) molto ben assortita che ci ha soddisfatto e appagato per qualità e quantità. Non abbiamo preso altro ma mi hanno "intrigato" i maccheroncini di Campofilone ai frutti di mare e tornerò per degustarli.

28/01/2025: The Locanda del Pescatore in Porto San Giorgio is a fish restaurant located in the small streets of the centre, which has put aside frills and current fashions to focus decisively on the quality of the fish, the authenticity of the environment and the wonderful simplicity of its offering culinary. The kindness of the staff and the professionalism of the kitchen would suggest much higher prices than those you will find coming here for lunch (they are only open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays). At the Locanda they offer various menus: with the 20 euro menu you can enjoy a large plate of appetizers, a generous first course, water, wine and coffee. Well done!

The chef is also present in the room, which allowed me to ask a couple of questions about the food, and being celiac it was useful because I was able to have gluten free options. Honest prices. For the fifth star I will return when I pass through Urbino again!

But also the strozzapreti with white ragout are really good. The steak that was recommended to us as a second course fully met expectations. The waitress Jessica is the real added value! 03/03/2025: A wonderful experience in the typical Marche gastronomy. Excellent dishes, from appetizer to dessert, really high quality raw materials (even the stewed vegetables, in their simplicity, were excellent!). The vincisgrassi are mouth-watering, almost like an encore! Highly recommended
