This was my first piadina ever, and it was an instant masterpiece. We tried several different varieties, and they were all delicious. Fresh, fragrant, and made with excellent ingredients. The service was friendly and helpful. The place was small, but there were a few places to eat inside. I highly recommend it!

We went to eat "cresce sfogliate di Urbino." The place offers countless combinations with a ton of ingredients and all the customizations the customer wants. Our "cresce" were absolutely delicious.
The cook's work deserves special mention; she prepares the "cresce" right in front of the customer. She's tireless, a real machine!
The place is very small and only has a few seats to enjoy your meal, as well as some tables outside. Highly recommended.

Piadineria near Piazza della Repubblica.
We stopped by to try the crescia di Urbino and were pleasantly surprised.
The dough is halfway between a crepe and a piadina (given the use of eggs), so it's very crispy on the outside and melts in the mouth. The ingredients used are top-quality. I recommend it!
One flaw: the place is quite small, with very few people inside, and it can get crowded when it's busy. Service is a bit slow.
Fair prices: for two, plus a glass of water, we paid €14.50.

Crescia, a must-try local delicacy in Urbino, is similar to the Piadina, a common Italian flatbread, but with a layer of lard on top, giving it a more complex texture. The owner is incredibly friendly, and it was such a treat to have a hot meal here at lunchtime, all at a reasonable price.

We stopped in Urbino during a five-day vacation, and this was the meal that made the biggest impression on us, despite its simplicity. The crescia we ate was divine, with a crumbly dough and a generous, flavorful filling. The prices are super affordable, and we recommend it for takeout because the seating is limited and a bit uncomfortable, considering the small restaurant gets crowded easily. If we return to Urbino, we'll definitely stop here.
