27/03/2026: For the third time in a row, I ordered from the drive-thru, and despite scanning the codes and checking the screen, the order was completely wrong. Having to stop somewhere to double-check everything isn't ideal, but at this point, it's a must.

07/03/2026: I organized an event with about ten people, calling ahead and specifying that some of them were vegan. No problem for the person who took the reservation. Once we arrived, we were served cocktails, a charcuterie board with four pieces of focaccia and pizza, fried gnocco, and four chips. The vegan board consisted of four pieces of baked potato and some fennel. Rather meager for our number. Someone made a second reservation, but regarding the food, we were told that a second round wasn't offered and that anyone who wanted one could buy a separate pizza board... another €7... I brought the cake, and if I didn't miscalculate, the cutting and service alone cost about €20. In short... never again.

07/03/2026: Hi, I went to an aperitivo with friends where the owners or employees (I don't know) confirmed there was a plant-based (vegan/vegetarian) option, but no such option was available. €15 for two grilled vegetables and a few slices of focaccia. Never again. You might want to update your opinion in 2026, because charging €15 for two grilled vegetables is a bit of a rip-off.

30/03/2026: Excellent value for money, a refined atmosphere, and friendly and professional staff. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, they managed the situation perfectly. The dishes were well-prepared and the portions were adequate. Parking wasn't a problem; there's a paid parking lot nearby, or you can park on the street.

12/07/2025: While walking along Strada Nuova and needing a quick breakfast, I came across this bakery's window display and, inspired by the variety of products, decided to give it a try, since they also have a café. I must say, I wasn't disappointed: while it's true that they offer standard baked croissants, I also find breakfast for just €3 more than reasonable. Furthermore, the staff was among the friendliest and most approachable I've ever encountered in Pavia, a detail that made the overall experience even more enjoyable. I already knew I'd be pleased with the service as soon as I ordered, since the lady serving me was so kind as to ask if I'd like a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa on my cappuccino. I rarely get asked this question, which, in its simplicity, shows great customer care. The cappuccino was delicious, by the way, with a particularly rich foam, as it should be. It was also lovely to listen to the conversations between the female staff and the regulars; They created a pleasant break that felt like home. In short, even in the rush of the day, I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied by this brief experience.

22/02/2026: I ordered a takeout sandwich and a piadina kebab for dinner with friends. Salman is a true institution in Pavia, and after years in the city, I was finally curious to test its reputation. I must say, my expectations were high, and they were largely confirmed, especially regarding the sandwich: the bread was perfectly crispy and the filling was generous, making it one of the best options I've tried so far. The piadina, on the other hand, was good, but it didn't impress me as much, given that there are superior alternatives for this specific type of kebab in the city. The falafel were also a positive note, which were nice and crispy and flavorful. Overall, the experience was satisfying, and Salman remains a reliable go-to for quality kebab in Pavia.

20/12/2025: It's absurd that someone orders a pan of pizza and has to wait 15 minutes when it arrives because they only cook it after paying. If I order for a certain time, it's because when I arrive, I just have to pay and leave, not wait while the pizza still needs to be baked. Never again!

18/12/2025: We had dinner on a weekday evening and had a great time. We were the only guests, with a dining room to ourselves. We ate excellent fish (seafood parcels, mixed fried fish) and excellent pizzas, followed by dessert. Impeccable service, excellent value. We definitely recommend it!

31/03/2026: I returned after a long time, no longer living in Pavia: unfortunately, I was negatively affected by how much it has changed. The quality of the food wasn't bad, but it's no longer the Jumbo it was a few years ago. On a Saturday night in March, the place was half empty, draft beer wasn't available, and overall I think it's lost its quality and uniqueness. The room also filled with smoke and cooking smells (I had to wash all my clothes the next day). I'm sorry, but I hope it can return to its former glory.

25/03/2026: burger very good but maybe little more sauce. fries would have wanted more salt but the sauce was free si that is a plus. I recommend.

The one with the eyes looking one east and the other west was rude, arrogant, and presumptuous, with a grand manner! I asked for a bag after ordering five €10/€12 menus. He said that from tonight on, things will be as he wants, and that he makes the rules, sending me away with the food in my hand because the bag hadn't been put on the screen beforehand. When I got home, the food was cold, and the fries weren't fresh and left something to be desired. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE TRAINED BECAUSE TREATMENT OF A CUSTOMER LIKE THIS IS SHAMEFUL. DON'T THEY UNDERSTAND THAT THE MONEY I EARN EVERY MONTH IS THANKS TO THE CUSTOMERS WHO SPEND?! I won't set foot in there again. It's about time someone sent some checks to make sure it's clean, which isn't very clean, and that the kitchen is preparing food, not toys! Not to mention that I was missing a menu and had to go back for one...
