23/11/2025: Last night was my first time. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and my calzone was delicious. Not only that... it was also truly original, to the point that it stimulates the imagination even before you taste it, leaving you to imagine so many possibilities.

07/11/2025: We've been frequenting this place for years, where you can enjoy a fun evening beyond the food. Compared to the past, I must point out a price hike. While you could once dine for a reasonable price, now it's almost out of control. €70 for two seems excessive for this type of place. It's true that the price of ingredients has increased, but we're not talking about a Milanese restaurant, but rather the Pavia countryside.... Is there a reason why Saturday nights used to be always packed and now there are plenty of empty tables?

29/06/2025: Really very good pizza, this evening I particularly appreciated the Pizza Bologna, with mortadella, pistachio, provola, fiordilatte, personalized with the addition of porcini mushrooms and black olives. A delicacy!

05/10/2025: A casual trattoria with an old-fashioned atmosphere. Simona is an excellent hostess. The mussels and scallops are delicious.

07/09/2025: Although the food wasn't bad, the restaurant clearly bears references to the Fascist era: throughout the restaurant, you can see several paintings depicting Mussolini and mottos relating to the sad period of the early 1900s.

03/11/2025: A welcoming and well-organized facility, very friendly and helpful staff, well-maintained and clean rooms, an excellent location just steps from the center, and an excellent restaurant! I recommend it to everyone.

16/10/2025: Spacious and very clean room, shame about the mattress, I slept terribly, at least in my room no. 373. Cleanliness was excellent, just add more fabric softener when washing the towels, which scratch your face. Good service, I purchased a full board package from the agency, including water and wine with meals, but mineral water was an extra cost.

07/11/2025: Stopping in for a bite to eat is always a pleasure: the atmosphere is clean, the food is good, and the service is fast. It's a shame, though, that sometimes they make a few small mistakes with orders. Courtesy is always there.

06/10/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt like it because I had a really good time. I went to this café for breakfast this morning, and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. The prices were fair, the cappuccino was well-made and very nice, and the croissant was also delicious and warm. Compliments to the kindness of the staff!

07/10/2025: Not at all professional! Reliability = zero! I ordered 15 takeout sandwiches over the phone more than a day in advance. But on the day of delivery, "Surprise!" Not only were the sandwiches I ordered missing, but they didn't set aside anything to replace them!!! The sales assistant's excuse was that they didn't have time to make them.

21/10/2025: Horrible experience! - Rustic atmosphere: the choice to place glass over the tables leaves a lot to be desired, especially since if you're not careful, you risk breaking a glass; - No menu was provided, and consequently, so were the prices for food and drinks; - Very low-quality food; - Friendliness: the two ladies serving the tables are annoyed; - Parking: It's really hard to find a spot since the place is located along the highway. - Noise: When you find yourself sitting next to a table full of people so drunk (including the owner) that you can't communicate with anyone around you, I'd say this represents the rudeness that pervades this place. See you never again!!!

29/08/2025: Very rustic pizzeria where they do a little bit of everything. The order taker was very kind, but a little absent-minded. The prices were reasonable. I didn't like the pizza, but maybe just because I'm used to a different kind of pizza. The fried foods were a little burnt. Overall, I wasn't thrilled with the food. I don't think I'd go back!

19/07/2025: We told the waitress about the pizzas, including a lactose-free one, which we trusted. When paying the bill, we heard some customers also ask another member of staff for lactose-free pizzas, but they replied that they didn't have lactose-free mozzarella and therefore recommended buffalo mozzarella instead. At that point, we weren't sure if we'd eaten lactose-free pizzas since the staff's versions didn't match. I'd like to add that the waitress who took the order seemed distracted when we asked for a pizza with stracciatella, which wasn't honored.

26/03/2025: A nice place to stop for a hearty breakfast. I had a conchiglia with milk cream, a walnut and maple syrup pastry, a cream cannoli, and a ginseng cappuccino... Even though there were a lot of people in front of me, they were quite quick, kind, and helpful, and they even offered table service... The conchiglia and the pastry were really good... compared to the cannoli, which lacks a bit of flavor in the cream, but the pastry is okay... the ginseng cappuccino was very well made... The price for everything was €6.10... not bad these days, and for what I got. The place is small, it's not much to write home about... but it's still a welcoming place... In fact, for me, it deserves 4.5 stars.

30/10/2025: After 10 years, I wanted to return to this historic sandwich shop, where I had childhood memories of summers spent with my family, who are well-known in this area. I couldn't fault the quality of the sandwiches, which is why I insisted on returning with my children and a couple of friends. Unfortunately, I can't speak highly of this quality, especially regarding the owner's unfriendly personality (which fortunately doesn't apply to the employees). I had a small child with purely physiological needs related to his age: crying from hunger. He was breastfed, so (for those who don't know) an immediate response to his needs. The moment of crying was clearly not appreciated by the owner, who waited until the men had left to stop me at the entrance and show off his "gentlemanly" side, pointing out that with children so young, I should have UNDERSTOOD (me) that it wasn't the case to go out and relax, as for me, crying was normal because he was my son, but he had customers to satisfy. I was shocked. It's a shame, as great was the happiness of returning with my new family, so great was the sadness with which I left: even with a happily full belly, the food went down the wrong way.

26/10/2025: Last night at Bar Moderno in Salice Terme, we had some truly delicious sandwiches—it's a shame the "modern" service stops at the name. At the end of the evening, after spending around €100 on drinks, the manager decided to take it out on a friend's wife because their six-month-old baby had cried for a few minutes (like all newborns do). She calmed him down by breastfeeding him, we had already paid, and very politely, her husband—a good-looking, moderately built man—had left to get his car. It was precisely at that moment that the manager found the courage to confront the young mother, explaining that crying babies disturb the customers. A truly gentlemanly gesture, in short. Excellent sandwiches, but some men should be served with a side of courage and a glass of good manners.
