An excellent menu featuring traditional and non-traditional dishes, served in generous portions and offering excellent value.
If you're looking for a restaurant that's off the beaten path but still within walking distance of the main squares and attractions, I highly recommend it.

A truly memorable evening in Mantua. We dined in a welcoming place with a very refined and pleasant atmosphere.
The quality of the food impressed us from the first bite. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of the desserts, such as the slice of cake topped with fresh berries and a light dusting of powdered sugar. Everything was exquisite and prepared with great care.
We will definitely return to try other specialties. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic cuisine in the city.

Recommended by the hotel we stayed at, we booked dinner at this traditional osteria. Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the service to the quality of the dishes. Obviously, the must-haves were: pumpkin tortelli (which tasted so much like the ones my grandmother used to make), tagliatelle allo stracotto, and the infamous sbrisolona. A glass of quality wine. Not to be missed if we ever come back to Mantua. The friendly guy at the cash register (I assume the owner) had to work hard to get us a foreign invoice :)

This is a family-run inn, and I chose it for this reason, and I was right! The staff is friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. The owner often walks around the tables to make sure everything is okay. I went there for dinner with a friend, and we had delicious eggplant rolls and amazing pumpkin tortelli!!! Compliments to the owner's mother, who made them herself ❤️. I love pumpkin and I wanted to try the pumpkin pudding with vanilla ice cream, which was delicious. I'd just add a little more ice cream because the pudding goes perfectly with it. My friend had a berry cheesecake with a sbrisolona cake base 😋. I'll gladly go back!

The interior is very beautiful and typical of a historic building. Service is a bit awkward and inexperienced by some of the waiters. The food and bill are average.

The ravioli were exceptionally good, and the eggplant antipasti was outstanding.
