24/08/2024: APERITIF booked table x5. No waiter outside. We enter to ask while queuing up who had to pay. They let us sit outside and we pointed out that we were in the direct sun. The boy's response "these are the umbrellas" 15 minutes pass, no one brings us a menu or anything. As if they weren't there. We left If you want to expand, so be it, but do it with adequate staff and service.

23/08/2024: Delicious products... and all artisanal, too bad for gluten intolerants, but I'm sure they will organize it, at least I hope so!

13/08/2024: Friendly staff and refuge in a great location. We had lunch on a hot August day in the valley but it was great at altitude. I took a menu with small variations, the pizzoccheri were good. Excellent place for price/quality.

26/08/2024: I'm from Lecco and here pizzocchero is a bit of a religion as well as my favorite dish. I'm sure I've tried pizzoccheri from every restaurant in Valsassina and Sondrio. Their Pizzoccheri far beat the competition, they are simply perfect, in addition to the friendliness, preparation and kindness of the staff, which makes it absolutely a place to go. Yes, you can get there on foot, I did it with a stroller, but the view that that short stretch gives you is an added value, certainly not a flaw.

02/08/2024: I had a huge disappointment with the Wiener schnitzel I ordered recently. What I was served was not at all what I expected. Instead of the classic, succulent veal cutlet (€17), I received a pork cutlet, which not only tasted completely different, but was also flatter, drier and less tasty. The breading was not very crunchy and the "cutlet" had been so pressed that it was presented full of holes and jagged. Furthermore, the dish was poorly presented, which further ruined the experience. I expected a dish rich in flavors and tradition, but unfortunately I only found an unsuccessful variation almost from a low-level Chinese restaurant. I don't think I will return to this restaurant for a schnitzel and I advise anyone to pay attention to the choice of dish. Disappointing!

14/08/2024: I had lunch on Sunday... very nice and clean place, too bad the crazy heat didn't help and you have to organize yourself with outdoor fans! I took a starter of normal quality and not abundant; inedible rosemary cake!! First a risotto with a horrendous flavor with rosemary everywhere in my opinion inedible while the parcels are still al dente and to say the least!! we stopped and decided not to continue with anything else!! Too bad I had high expectations!! Service on the other hand, young and very attentive and active guys!

13/08/2024: A beautiful view and a well-kept restaurant with a large terrace, some dishes were better while others definitely needed improvement but overall good.

05/07/2024: We spent a pleasant evening at the Veranda terrace restaurant. The place is characterized by kind, attentive service, a beautiful view, vintage-style terrace furniture and very delicious food. I would gladly recommend it to anyone. It is worth booking in advance, the restaurant is full.

19/07/2024: Excellent restaurant, very tidy and clean. I went to eat the Valencian paella. I found it very good like everything else. The staff were very nice and helpful. There was no shortage of encores. In fact, the waiters came by several times. I would say it was a really nice surprise. I will definitely be back. Excellent price quality

11/06/2024: Uno dei miei ristoranti preferiti, innanzitutto per il cibo di ottima qualità e di certo ti alzi sazio! Menu lavoro buonissimo, tante scelte e abbondante a un prezzo più che onesto! Anche per ricevimenti si va sul sicuro, sempre con ottimo cibo e spazio ampio per tutte le esigenze (passeggini, seggioloni, tavolo ampio dove ognuno ha il suo spazio). Bonanomi una garanzia

24/08/2024: We went to this place for a dinner with friends, reservations are required given the crowding of customers in the summer season, but it's absolutely worth it: decent variety of dishes on the menu, very high quality, slightly small portions, service excellent, well-kept and clean place, adequate space, average prices. Also considering the context in which it is located (in a sports center with minigolf, entertainment and shows for children), a truly excellent place.

07/08/2024: Probably one of the best dinners of my life to date, starting from the intimate location, the precise and discreet service and obviously the dishes offered. Truly a dream starter and first course, a second course which in my opinion was missing something extra but certainly appreciable and a dessert worthy of note. All accompanied by an excellent bottle of wine. Booked with the fork summer promotion, discounts respected. Soon I will return with other people to introduce this gem in the heart of Merate.
