Lovely restaurant on the lido Mandello Del Lario. This restaurant defines excellence in so many ways!! Service staff was attentive but not intrusive. Excellent fixed lunch menu with several options. We will be back!

I had lunch with my family at Il Giardinetto and it was a sensational experience. The lake views are stunning and the food is excellent: their cuisine is creative and they propose dishes prepared with local fish as well as regional and national specialities. The service is friendly, attentive and well-prepared.

Ristorante Il Giardinetto delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish — a true 5-star evening. The setting alone makes it special: a beautiful, quiet location with a stunning view that feels far removed from the crowded tourist spots. There is a calm, almost private atmosphere that makes the entire experience feel unique and refined. Service was outstanding, and a special thank you to Alessio, who took care of us with great professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. His recommendations and presence elevated the evening significantly. The cuisine was of the highest quality. You can immediately tell that only premium ingredients are used and handled with care. A standout dish was the beef tartare with burrata cream and truffles — perfectly balanced, rich, and simply outstanding. The Belgian asparagus was equally impressive, and we appreciated the generous portion sizes without compromising on quality. Everything, from the food to the service to the atmosphere, was executed at a very high level. A truly memorable and unique dining experience — highly recommended.

We had lunch at this restaurant and the experience was impeccable. The location is stunning: a truly enchanting direct view of the lake, in an elegant and very clean environment. A strong point is the service. The waiters are extremely kind, extremely professional, and always smiling; they made us feel welcomed from the first moment. The cuisine also completely convinced us: excellent quality ingredients, with an exquisite perch risotto and a truly noteworthy dessert. I absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for the perfect mix of friendliness, quality food, and a breathtaking view. We'll definitely be back!
