07/01/2026: Through the reviews we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. The dishes are prepared with care and of good quality. We opted for the house appetizer and the bresaola carpaccio. Then we chose: the mixed grill, the tartar, the turkey steak, the beef rib (divided for two people, abundant). Dessert: pistachio mousse, three-layer chocolate, strawberry tart, ice cream with warm blueberries.

18/05/2026: We enjoyed a Sunday lunch with a picnic in the designated area. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We ordered two picnic baskets, one of which was gluten-free, and the staff was very attentive to our dietary needs. The products were excellent, with the locally sourced quality immediately apparent. Perhaps considering the €25 each basket cost, a few more items would have made it even more complete. The lake view was very picturesque.

10/05/2026: Everything was lovely. They're very quick... but the food was delicious. We walked around and even saw the animals. The outside area is even nicer, if there's room. We'll be back!

The cold cuts and meat were top-quality, and the appetizers and first courses were also truly excellent. I highly recommend trying the quality of the food. 22/03/2026: Hello What can I say: a WONDERFUL discovery! Everything was perfect, but some might say that's the bare minimum for a 5-star hotel. But it wasn't just any 5-star hotel. The experience was worth far more than that. Let's start with the staff. Having stayed in other 5-star hotels, this staff is by far the BEST I've ever encountered, and I mean it. Their kindness and friendliness are rarely seen in the hotel industry. They take excellent care of you, going above and beyond for even the smallest request. Magical. What might seem complicated becomes incredibly simple to execute. Hats off to them! The food is of exceptional quality and freshness. The breakfast was very generous and excellent, and there's a gourmet restaurant, which we unfortunately didn't have the chance to try. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a hammam. A bottle of champagne and fruit were provided upon arrival. Simply magical. Rooms were cleaned twice a day. We had a view of the lake and mountains. A huge thank you to all the staff: Tommaso, Valentina, Davide, Ena, and Andrea. I highly recommend this very intimate, human-scale hotel where human connection truly matters. 08/06/2026: Real food in a vintage setting (even better!). Short but impactful menu. Generous portions (pasta between €11 and €13, breaded cutlet €15, sides €4). No greater ambition than to be a place to eat well.

07/06/2026: We ate very well, the blonde lady who served us was very kind, friendly and helpful, the quality and quantity were abundant. We will definitely be back... excellent. The pizzoccheri, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms... tagliolini with venison ragù... polenta and braised meat... the sciat... absolutely to try.

21/05/2026: Lovely restaurant on the lido Mandello Del Lario. This restaurant defines excellence in so many ways!! Service staff was attentive but not intrusive. Excellent fixed lunch menu with several options. We will be back!

17/05/2026: I had lunch with my family at Il Giardinetto and it was a sensational experience. The lake views are stunning and the food is excellent: their cuisine is creative and they propose dishes prepared with local fish as well as regional and national specialities. The service is friendly, attentive and well-prepared.
