14/02/2026: One of the best trattorias in Colico at a truly affordable price. In my humble opinion, the best schatt I've ever eaten. The first courses were excellent, both the pizzoccheri and the blueberry spaghetti. The rib-eye steak was excellent. The stew was also very good. Upon arrival, they bring you a small entrée with bread and cherry tomatoes. At the end of the meal, they bring you flasks of laurel grappa, licorice, and white grappa. The owners are very kind, easy-going, and super available to answer any questions.

30/12/2025: A simple and welcoming place, with knowledgeable and helpful staff, but above all... the food was simply truly delicious!!! The only thing we can say, which isn't a criticism, but a suggestion: the beverages. We couldn't imagine not having local wines and beers; it doesn't require a huge investment, but we think it's important for a complete experience. See for yourself and decide for yourself. In any case... highly recommended!!!

19/11/2025: I ordered takeout directly from them, skipping Deliveroo, and unfortunately they took advantage of me: all the dishes cost one euro more than Deliveroo (I've attached a comparison). This was truly unfortunate and, in my opinion, unfair. Furthermore, even though I was the only customer, my food was delivered 30 minutes later than the agreed-upon time, after half an hour of constant "we're almost ready."

21/02/2026: As soon as we entered, the fireplace lit up and immediately warmed the room. So many aromas filled the air. The smell of delicious things... as soon as we entered, a grill blazed inside the giant fireplace... what can I say? Meat, sausages, and porcini mushrooms were grilling calmly and peacefully... it was our first time at Crotto, but we'll be back, confident of finding these same aromas and flavors again... all the pasta is fresh that day... the aroma of chestnut tagliatelle with fresh mushrooms is worth the trip. Thank you for the welcome, with bubbles and crostini. And the smiles were free...

30/09/2025: Delicious ice cream, routine flavors, nothing special, a little too frozen and not very creamy like gelato ice cream should be, but overall great ice cream, the best in town and at a great price, that's for sure.

10/02/2026: We were passing through Mandello del Lario and stopped at this restaurant for a bite to eat! There were two adults and three small children, and despite the mess our kids made, the staff was very welcoming and friendly! Highly recommended! The waiter, Gerry, was a wonderful person!

07/02/2026: I'm a regular, and I recommend this place. It's welcoming and elegant, especially in the evening. It has a great noir atmosphere that pairs well with a romantic dinner or an event. The staff is kind, friendly, and professional. I recommend this place. P.S. The parking isn't bad either.

13/01/2026: The food is truly excellent. You can choose from a set menu of the day. The buckwheat pasta and meat dishes are excellent. The chestnut and honey ice cream is truly delicious.

12/01/2026: TOP! Warm and friendly atmosphere. Simple menu where you can choose from one dish to the whole menu. The table is already set with bread, breadsticks, water, and a bottle of red wine (much better than the usual bulk red wine available in restaurants). Various appetizers, all delicious, especially the pizzoccheri! We didn't go any further because we were full. And then there's the coffee served with delicious biscuits! Friendly and dynamic staff. Absolutely fair prices. Congratulations :)

16/12/2025: Spectacular lakeside terrace; we went in the evening, and the sunset was truly romantic. We had a delicious misultin appetizer. The rice with perch is made with marinated fish on a white risotto, mostly parmesan. The flavor was very distinctive at first, but by the middle of the serving, we were tired of the rice. We wanted to try something different, but I prefer the classic one with breaded and fried fish because, in my opinion, it tastes better.

20/10/2025: Even though it's just a few minutes from home, I'd never been to this place, and now I definitely won't be able to do without it! What can I say... AMAZING! Super fresh, local products, young and friendly staff. The prices are in line with the quality offered. Great for a snack or aperitif with kids, they have a beautiful playground with playground equipment just outside the window. Kudos to the variety and quality of the products offered. Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: In the province of LECCO, but you'll feel like you're in SICILY thanks to this elegant and welcoming restaurant, with dark wooden beamed ceilings and ceramic, fabric, and other typical Sicilian artwork. The wooden walls are lined with niches filled with bottles of wine, grappa, liqueurs, and bitters from various regions, and there's also a delightful fireplace. Celebrating a birthday with the family in this restaurant was a delight, both for the palate and the eyes. The service was attentive, fast, and courteous, with dishes from an excellent menu featuring high-quality delicacies served on traditional ceramic plates. The restaurant is accessed through a main door, and a small garden leads to the restaurant entrance. Ample parking is available. The restaurant is open for lunch and reservations are required! GO THERE....you'll be satisfied!

13/01/2026: We happened upon it by chance one Sunday while out for a stroll. What can I say? It's a truly fantastic little place with a superb view. Everyone, from the dining room to the chef, was so kind. The food was excellent, the polenta with mushrooms and roulades was excellent, the selection of amazing cheeses was amazing, and the house dessert was made with local ricotta, the tastiness of which is simply incredible. We'll definitely be back!

09/12/2025: Excellent dinner at this restaurant, discovered almost by chance. Beautiful location with a stunning panoramic view of northern Lake Como. The ambiance was perfect; we dined on the veranda with a pleasant warm drink, much appreciated even given the chilly temperatures outside. We appreciated the kindness, friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff. The sciat (a type of pasta) served on slices of bresaola and salad was excellent. The venison salmi and Chiavennaschi gnocchi, served in generous portions, were also very tasty. The quality/price ratio was excellent. What more could I say? We'll be back and recommend it to others.

08/12/2025: Dishes that stand out from the crowd, offering something "new" and different. I can only tell you about the dishes on display: an appetizer (I don't remember the name) made with balls of local cheese, breaded in buckwheat flour and fried, served on a bed of local bresaola. Delicious and flavorful, each ball leading to another. Veal ossobuco with Milanese rice: a nice portion with a good risotto. The ossobuco was good, but in some places the cut was slightly stringy due to the sinew. Probably not an exceptional cut, but cooked well and flavorful. (Not all donuts come with a hole.) Another great feature is the view: the view of the lake is stunning; eating inside with that view is satisfying.
