09/07/2025: Excellent food, fairly fast service, but I recommend going early because it gets crowded at lunchtime. Excellent prices.

08/07/2025: Fantastic service (greetings to Martina!), very good food, with a slightly different twist, like beef on a giant skewer with grilled vegetables, and delicious desserts! Top-notch service (we were on bikes, carefully guarded by the excellent bartender🫡, and when we were caught in a total storm after dinner, they guided us to a safer route!🙏). A wonderful interior patio, full of greenery. Highly recommended!

19/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I must say I was very pleased. The grilled fried fish was truly delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent, as was the courtesy and kindness of the staff. I will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

17/07/2025: Excellent restaurant in a mountain setting, with a frequently changing menu and refined dishes at a fair price. A great place to impress friends in a small village in the Grigna hills. We often return to the inn, and never once have we disappointed our expectations. I always recommend it to friends and acquaintances. I'd say it's my favorite restaurant... and no, I won't post photos because the dishes are so beautiful that I'd ruin the surprise. 😉

07/07/2025: Cozy family-run restaurant high up in the mountains. Winding and narrow road up there but well worth the drive. Please note that only a set menu is served. The food was made from local ingredients. We could see the vines from the terrace from which their good merlot wine was made. The food was rustic and typically Italian. There were many dishes and a lot of food! The pasta dishes and desserts were the best. You have to be prepared to come there hungry and sit for a long time. It was also very affordable. Nice welcome and quick service with some knowledge of English. Thank you for an unforgettable dinner!

26/07/2025: Abbiamo organizzato una cena aziendale al Camino di Ballabio, e non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore. Il menù è stato proposto direttamente da Pietro, il titolare, che ha saputo interpretare al meglio i nostri gusti e le nostre esigenze. L’organizzazione è stata impeccabile: tutto è filato liscio, con tempi perfetti e un servizio davvero attento e cortese. I piatti? Semplicemente eccellenti: materie prime di altissima qualità, porzioni abbondanti e persino il bis, offerto con generosità e sorriso. In un panorama dove spesso conta solo l’apparenza, Il Camino rappresenta l’essenza della sostanza: si mangia davvero bene, si è accolti con calore e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ormai una rarità. Tutti i nostri ospiti sono rimasti entusiasti, e sono certo che questa serata ha fatto guadagnare al locale una quarantina di nuovi affezionati clienti. Torneremo presto. Complimenti!

25/07/2025: Prima volta e ci torneremo per dare un’altra opportunità perché ci siamo trovati bene e perché gli altri piatti erano buoni. Spero che come è fatta la taragna sia un caso, tantissimo formaggio, la polenta neanche si sentiva, collosa, filamentosa, pesante da digerire. Ne ho mangiate tantissime, ma questa no (la migliore per noi dall’antica osteria del casari a Concenedo, va prenotata), abbiamo preso anche lungo la troggia, la trippa (molto buona) e la triglia (molto buona e delicata). Servizio molto bene. Conto non proprio basso. Mi spiace per la taragna, spero non sia sempre così. Da un milanese milanista

The location is beautiful, with a panoramic view of the mountains, and the staff is extremely kind and professional. I was very satisfied with the dishes I tried and can't wait to return to try other delicacies. My compliments! The prices are in line with the location and the quality is superb!

14/07/2025: Un posto, dove trovi l’accoglienza e il mangiare che ti porta ad una domenica in famiglia! Tutto ottimo, porcini e polenta top! Stinco buonissimo… un plus il papà non giovane che gira tra i tavoli sempre sorridente, e la mamma in cucina…. Posto super consigliato

17/07/2025: A pleasant walk up, and our parents were driven up in a small car by the super-friendly manager. We weren't too late, so it wasn't too busy. We found the staff to be young and proud of their work. The atmosphere was wonderful, and they explained the (new) menu since there wasn't one in English yet. And then came the food, which we were exceptionally surprised by the presentation and quality. Truly delicious, and there aren't enough superlatives to describe our satisfaction. Ladies and gentlemen of this fantastic place: it's a work of art; we'll probably be dreaming about the delicacies and the atmosphere.

16/07/2025: Excellent pizzas at a great price. Unfortunately, you can only sit inside – the ambiance is very dark and dated. The service, unfortunately, wasn't very friendly or welcoming. A smile shouldn't have been too much to ask for; it gave the impression that the visit was a nuisance to the owner. A shame! The food, however, was delivered very quickly.

25/07/2025: Visiting from Sweden. Fantastic place with great food and service - lots of people so you may need to book a table. It's also cool that there are a lot of fusion dishes between Italian and Japanese cuisine, including pesto and sushi which was very good!!
