Dedicated, attentive staff who pay attention to every detail. Fantastic, dedicated, serious, and patient restaurateurs, with only one goal: a positive customer experience. And of course, excellent, quality food. Highly recommended! :)

20/10/2025: Gourmet sandwiches?? Gourmet ham???? Are you kidding? A bar in a rural area where sandwiches cost at least €8 and you have to wait half an hour for them? We've lost touch with reality. If I wanted to eat at a restaurant, I'd go there!

10/11/2025: The restaurant has a spectacular view of the San Michele Bridge and a truly pleasant atmosphere. The waiters are very professional, kind, and always smiling: they explain everything carefully and make you feel at ease. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered grilled fish, but unfortunately it had no flavor, the fish didn't seem fresh, and after eating, we had stomach problems. It's a shame, because the place deserves better, but the quality of the food didn't live up to expectations.

15/09/2025: A comfortable and welcoming family-run retreat. Excellent traditional local cuisine, especially the delicious homemade desserts. The view of the Biandino and Valvarrone valleys is priceless.

28/08/2025: We stayed at the refuge the night between August 24 and August 25, and had a great time! The staff was friendly, calm, welcoming, and always available to answer guests' questions. The refuge, if you start from Alpe Paglio, is located behind a small ridge (so it's not visible until the last stretch of the trail). The rooms are very comfortable, with comfortable beds (despite being bunk beds), and clean bathrooms. I believe the dinner service changes daily and includes a first course, a second course, a dessert, and coffee. In my case, as a vegetarian, I chose tagliatelle with cream and zucchini, polenta accompanied by local cheeses, and a panna cotta with berries. Everything was excellent and the portions generous. Breakfast was perhaps a little sparse (yogurt, cereal, toast) and lacked savory options, but since it's self-service, you can easily go back for a second go. I highly recommend it; the price for half board, considering the quality of the service, is very reasonable! We felt in a very familiar and peaceful environment☺️

25/11/2025: A 10. We stopped on the way to make some pancakes and toast and coffee, 4 coffees, 2 toasts and 1 pancakes 20 euros, everything was delicious.

03/11/2025: We had a coffee stop on our way back to Milano airport at this little place and I forgot a brand new jacket there… After arriving to our final destination and when I realised it, I called them straight away to ask if they found it. It happen they did and they were really into helping me getting it back… finally : they sent it back to me to France 🥹🥹🥹 Matteo, who was my first interlocutor, was more than great 🙏 He really wanted to help me and he did! Beside their kindness, the place is very cute and is in a very good location if you want an easy stop near the lake (they even have their own parking lot!) Thank you so much again 🫶

09/11/2025: A safe bet on this side of the lake. A traditional restaurant with regional cuisine. Relaxing and pleasant. Try the lake fish dishes. Best on weekdays.

25/09/2025: We had a wonderful dinner at Ristorante Al Batel on our last night in Lake Como. The restaurant has a casual, welcoming vibe and is clearly popular with locals—it filled up quickly as soon as we sat down. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the ravioli filled with fish and the gnocchi, both of which were outstanding. Be sure not to miss the homemade desserts! A special and authentic experience that made for the perfect ending to our trip.

08/10/2025: We had a lovely stay in early September to attend a wedding nearby. Wonderful location, attentive staff, and the food was great too! Lake Como is truly beautiful and this small Inn is a great choice for accommodations.

05/09/2025: Great location in the heart of town; we found a free parking space in the public parking lot despite it being a holiday. The room was clean, the bathroom a bit small, but adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only the breakfast was meager for our taste. Otherwise, a really cute little place to stay.
