04/11/2023: A must when climbing to Pizzo dei tre lords from the side of the Grassi refuge. When we arrived at the refuge at 2pm we asked if we could have lunch and the girl who runs the refuge kindly said that she would satisfy our needs. Excellently cooked pasta with meat sauce, then polenta with mixed cheeses both local and Piedmontese since she is originally from those places, draft beer, bread made by her and coffee. Fair price since the food is carried almost 2000 meters on your shoulders, which is no walk in the park. The refuge is welcoming and quiet with a view that extends from the southern side of Val Biandino to the northern side of Val Varrone and Melasc.

28/03/2024: A welcoming and really good restaurant, thin and tasty pizzas! Recommended dishes nettle gnocchi with zola and walnuts and terrine with seafood pasta covered with pizza... delicious!

24/02/2024: This pizza restaurant is really very simple in its choice of furnishings.... a welcoming trattoria, but the kindness of the chef's waitresses far surpasses any luxury furnishings without substance. The food is delicious starting from the pizza, very good, materials fresh and excellent plating and table service. Splendid... always friendly and with a smile.. My friends and I will definitely be back, I recommend that if you pass through those parts, go to La Fonte! You will be happy! (the dish of porcini mushrooms with parsley, a dish out of reach,) it was prepared for me immediately by the chef and it was delicious as in the photo!

17/02/2024: Pizzeria principalmente da asporto ma con tavoli per consumare la pizza in loco. La pizza niente di speciale, non vi aspettate una pizza napoletana, molto lontana. Ambiente surreale, il cameriere ci ha chiesto se volevamo le posate 🙄. Buono per un pasto veloce e senza pretese.

03/09/2023: I go to the Sala hotel/restaurant a couple of times a year when I'm in Introbio to visit my mother. It is located in the center of the town, in an excellent position, close to shops, newsagent, pharmacy, bus stop etc.. the restaurant is family-run, and when we have lunch there it feels like being at home. Impeccable service, very kind and attentive. The room is made up of a few tables, with a TV corner, well-spaced and well-set tables. The menu list includes various choices between first courses, second courses and desserts. And it's all very good, but without big demands, I would say easy-going. Simple but good dishes. And cheap. The two of us don't spend more than thirty euros on a first course (mum), a second course of meat (me), vegetables, two fruit salads, mineral water, coffee and cover charge. I've never tried the hotel, but hearsay it's good. The rooms are spotless, have a beautiful view of the Grigna, there are no balconies, there are tables on the pavement and there is also a nice internal garden.
