I propose... the Rifugio Colle Melosa... the authentic flavor of the Ligurian Alps, looking out over the woods... tradition and true mountain cuisine. We are in Pigna, in an authentic refuge where gastronomy blends with old peasant memories... and where true family hospitality is still found... and once at the table, you can enjoy delicious herb ravioli... goat meat with white beans... and many other traditional peasant dishes. Drinking... some excellent wines from these areas. And as you look around you will realize that you are immersed in the total tranquility of the Ligurian Alps Park... this refuge restaurant is much more than a simple mountain inn... in fact it is a place where you will find a sincere welcome, here after having taken a nice walk along the Alpine path... you finally arrive at this beautiful refuge... which is also accessible by road. And where you will find a warm and familiar atmosphere. Where the true aromas of this local cuisine will make you want to take a long break... among stuffed vegetables... the sardenaira... cabbage rolls, cheeses... cereal focaccias... and the "gran Pistau"... which is the ancient recipe of Buggio. Homemade gnocchi... also green or with gorgonzola or semolina... with walnut sauce... and there is also Ligurian-style rabbit... and game dishes... and finally homemade desserts and you can choose between... tarts... strudel... and apple pies... what else can I tell you? When we open again, choose your summer days or evenings.

03/03/2026: Excellent little mountain restaurant, everything homemade was delicious, they even surpassed grandma's ravioli, so kudos to them. The prices were very fair. Congratulations!

12/07/2026: We went there while strolling through the little streets. And what a pleasure it was to have lunch in this place! A small, unique restaurant with pleasant and helpful waiters! Exceptional cuisine at unbeatable value. Take a break there.

10/07/2026: We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. My mother and I initially wanted to order coffee and water, but the waiter informed us that we also had to order food if we wanted to stay. We understood and respected that policy. Since we had already eaten earlier, we weren’t sure if we wanted food, and we hadn’t even had a chance to look at the menu yet. We simply asked for a moment to decide. However, within seconds, another waiter came to our table and told us they “needed the table,” essentially asking us to leave. What disappointed us the most was not the policy itself, but the way we were treated. We weren’t even given a single minute to look at the menu or make a decision, nor were we asked whether we had decided. We felt rushed, unwelcome, and effectively kicked out. Very disappointed.

31/05/2026: We went to this restaurant today, well; We'd already forgotten our reservation, so we waited... Then, regarding the food, my ravioli tasted like fish even though it was supposed to be Bolognese... Finally, there were three tables of French people... The father next to us politely asked the man behind us if they could be careful with their cigarettes because there were also children present... At that point, the smoking man became furious, threatening and insulting, as did his wife; they attacked and threatened everyone, even though our table wasn't involved in the initial incident... My brother and father tried to calm things down, but they were shouting so loudly that they made the children cry, but they didn't care, they continued with their threats (of settling scores and death!!!) "You don't know who we are, I'll break a bottle over your head," and the best part, directed at my brother, "There will be two orphans"... The threats and shouting lasted a good 15 minutes, but at no point did the The owner didn't intervene or even seem to care about what was happening... We ate the dessert we'd ordered before the altercation in record time because my nephew was traumatized and wanted to leave as quickly as possible, even though he'd planned to go swimming in the river after arriving... This couple even insulted their mother and mother-in-law, who had also tried to calm them down... So, we left the restaurant and didn't even walk around the area for fear of running into those people... Alcohol (and perhaps other substances) in no way excuses insults, death threats, shouting in a public place with children present, and the owner's failure to assist people in danger...

04/07/2026: Friendly service, very good pizzas and pasta, but pizzas are only served in the evening. One of the waiters speaks French.

01/07/2026: My go-to restaurant when I'm in town. I can wholeheartedly recommend it! 549 pizzas on the menu!!!! And the prices are ridiculously low. A large pizza costs between €8 and €13. And the taste… 🥰 made by the pizza master! Seriously, I'm there, you have to go. And there are beautiful, ancient olive trees in the parking lot. Simply amazing.

02/05/2026: The pizza was good, but watch out for the extra charge! €1.50 per person!!! I asked for pistachios on my pizza, and I'm still looking for them, they're so tiny!!! On top of that, they charged me an extra €2 for the pistachios, which I think is outrageous! In conclusion, the pizza was good, but they're ripping people off with the extra charges.

14/04/2026: What can I say... I can't wait to go on holiday so I can have dinner at this pizzeria restaurant... I'd say everything is perfect in every way.

15/07/2026: We tried the pinsa... good ingredients and combinations, but too dry... maybe I'm the one who doesn't appreciate pinsa... but the place inspired me, and I came back the next day... the food was excellent! We ordered a tomato risotto with butter cream... flavored oil and shrimp... superb!! Every spoonful was an explosion of flavors! Not to mention the dessert... a panna cotta with custard and fresh fruit... soft... light... delicious!! I recommend it if you want to eat something special!!!
