23/07/2026: After a few years, we returned to Triora and to this restaurant. Once again, the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was excellent! A definite highlight!

21/07/2026: I'm a passionate motorcyclist. I would absolutely drive 100 km out of my way for this restaurant. The food is of a very high standard. The prices are more than reasonable and even affordable. A top tip for anyone who loves good food.

17/05/2026: I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. The proprietors are so kind. The hotel is quaint and centrally located. We were visiting with family in the area and they took good care of us and our family. The food is superb. My father is a chef in his own right and said the pork was the best he had ever tasted. The pasta is excellent. The wine is delicious. They have homemade wines and aperitif. You really don’t want to miss this place. I travel a lot and this place is on the top of my list to visit again. Very affordable. Great atmosphere. Lively and fun. Very clean.

17/05/2026: I went to Santo Spirito restaurant for a romantic dinner with my wife. It's a welcoming place, with knowledgeable, smiling staff who made us feel like we were among friends. The owners shared some stories about the restaurant's history with us. The food is excellent, with a blend of tradition and innovation. Highly recommended, as the price is in line with the quality of the food and service.

22/07/2026: When visiting Sanremo I always end up returning to this place as it never fails to impress. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, great service and superb food. Delivering above and beyond my exceptions whether I've ordered an Italian classic pasta or one of the meat dishes. This restaurant clearly takes pride in what they do and is by far my favourite in Sanremo.

13/06/2026: A superb evening! The service was impeccable, the only slight drawback being the wait for the hot dishes. It's true that the wait was well worth it, as the dishes were very refined and expertly prepared. A special mention to the lady who spoke to us in French; it's always a pleasure.

12/06/2026: Amazing food, the trio starter was so good and the fried anchovies were perfect, not oily, so crisp and full of flavour. The owner Katie is a gem, vivacious and super friendly. And the deserts were sublime, perfectly crisp pate brise of the lemon tart, not too sweet, just the right amount of partners of the lemon and creaminess of the meringue. Will definitely go there again. Thank you Katie and Chef husband for a great meal.

11/07/2026: A small, charming restaurant-bar in Perinaldo with a fantastic view of the valley below. We ordered food for four, and we would have appreciated a more attractive presentation for some of the dishes. For example, a few more capers would have significantly improved the vitello tonnato. The roast beef was unfortunately difficult to slice, and the pasta with artichokes was a bit too oily. However, the espressos, the cheesecake, and the lemon-orange mousse dessert were delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. They speak Italian and at least some English, and communication was no problem. Fun fact: The restrooms offer a fantastic view, as previously mentioned. The prices were perfectly reasonable; we spent just over €100 for four dishes, three bottles of water, several cocktails and beers, coffees, and desserts. We strongly recommend making a reservation beforehand, as the restaurant was fully booked throughout the evening.

19/05/2026: While staying in Ventimiglia for a few days, I was fortunate to discover this restaurant just a short walk from where I was staying. The atmosphere was quaint and beautifully decorated, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. I especially appreciated the opportunity to practice my Italian throughout the evening. I started with a glass of local Rossese, a lighter-bodied Ligurian red with an elegant character somewhat reminiscent of Pinot Noir. For my antipasto, I chose the farinata with Gorgonzola, which was rich, savory, and wonderfully comforting. For dinner, I decided to try the coniglio disossato in casseruola alla ligure—boneless rabbit prepared with olives, pine nuts, and white wine. It was absolutely delicious: tender, delicate, and surprisingly approachable for anyone trying rabbit for the first time. I paired it with the optional red cabbage salad, which complemented the meal beautifully. Everything from the presentation to the ambiance felt thoughtful and authentic. An excellent dining experience from start to finish, and absolutely a place I would return to when back in Ventimiglia. 🇮🇹🍷✨

15/06/2026: Absolutely delicious. While I was initially a little taken aback by the fact that the lasagna was vegetarian (what's with this trend?), we thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. Plus, the waiter spoke French, which was very convenient. Of course, everything is homemade. A must-try if you're dining in Apricale.

20/07/2026: This waterfront restaurant offers a wide variety of meat and fish dishes at reasonable prices. The pizza is delicious, made with a super light crust. The desserts are also excellent, especially the cheesecake!

11/07/2026: We had pasta, gnocchi and fried seafood with zucchini and carrots. The fried seafood plate was massive, too much so for me, but still tasty. All really nice. Great little spot down a pedestrian side street surrounded by other small restaurants. Not particularly expensive, nor cheap, but that's subjective. Good value either way. Would definitely go back there. The only small criticism could be that there could have been one or two more beer options.

The portions were so generous we wondered if we'd been invited to an imperial banquet rather than a simple dinner 😄 Delicious cuisine from start to finish, quality ingredients, warm and attentive service, with those little touches that transform a meal into a truly memorable experience. The value for money exceeded all expectations. We arrived hungry and left practically rolling. A fantastic find, thank you to the whole team!
