26/07/2025: I used to come almost every morning, before 7:00. But the girl only says hello when she wants to, and she's rude and disrespectful. If she doesn't want me to stay home, that's fine, of course. I'm very sorry, but for me you're a bad memory.

10/03/2025: Good cappuccino, well-stocked pastries and assorted croissants. You find everything. Discreet external bathroom. Hospitality in the norm. Buy for a song. 2 cappuccinos and 2 donuts €5 Slice of pizza €1.

14/07/2025: It's a small, simple, and extremely welcoming place. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming customers almost like family, and the prices are truly fair. I recommend trying this cuisine, perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy good food (pizza, focaccia, etc.) in a genuine, homey atmosphere. Sunday, pale and absorbed, near a scorching garden wall... Here, afternoon can be spent in peace!!!

14/08/2025: A very, very good restaurant! We started with an eggplant and shrimp fritter appetizer, then enjoyed seafood pasta and a tuna pizza. Finally, a tiramisu: everything was truly delicious. Very pleasant service and a friendly setting. I highly recommend it.

13/08/2025: It feels more like a chain than a restaurant. The welcome was cold, and there was no smile when ordering. A three-euro surcharge for ham, and only two tiny pieces on the pizza. I ordered pizzas to go to eat on the beach and asked for them to be cut into pieces: my request was ignored. Disappointing.

12/08/2025: A good (and fairly affordable) pizza spot between the center and the Sanremo waterfront! Despite the crowds, orders and dishes arrived quickly.

22/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena durante un breve soggiorno a Dolceacqua, locale caratteristico, il personale gentilissimo e sempre attento. Abbiamo degustato il menù dolceacquino proposto ed è stata una vera sorpresa di gusti e sapori. Ottimo anche il Rossese della casa. Da ritornarci sicuramente.

18/07/2025: I ordered my Ravioli Ragü a second time.. it was sooooo good. That should tell you almost everything. The staff were lovely, even accommodating my attempts at speaking Italian 😳. The Rose wine.. spectacular. Even though the place across the way seems busier, I would come back here again and again without question. My wife’s Tagliatelle, fresh, home made, and she loved it.

21/07/2025: Unfortunately disappointing – no longer recommended We enjoyed being guests at Buena Vita in Cipressa in the past – the location, the view, and the relaxed atmosphere had a special appeal. However, since the introduction of the new rules, the character of this bar has unfortunately changed fundamentally – and not for the better. From now on, after 5:00 PM, aperitivos are only permitted at the seats opposite the restaurant – i.e., where there is a small playground and children are playing. The set tables directly in front of the restaurant are no longer allowed to be used, as they are apparently reserved exclusively for evening business. Even if many tables are empty, sitting there is not permitted – even for a quick aperitif without food. This is communicated in a very unfriendly and inflexible manner. The once charming Italian flair has thus been completely lost. Instead of the well-known Italian hospitality, one now encounters an atmosphere full of rules, restrictions, and little consideration. The service was uncooperative, barely attentive, and lacked any warmth. Especially in a small town like Cipressa, you expect authenticity, openness, and a sense of "welcome" – all of this is completely lacking these days. Unfortunately, under these circumstances, we can no longer recommend Buena Vita. It's a real shame about a once beautiful place.

10/08/2025: I had a wonderful evening meal with my best friend. Honestly, the staff were very attentive to us. The quality of the ingredients was incredible and fresh, the food was fantastic, and the wine was excellent. Of course, those who find it too expensive should perhaps stick to the fish and chips or a Frito Misto to share. I'm not forgetting the setting, which was very pleasant, with a great location in the pretty square, and a small gesture on the bill with two complimentary glasses of wine. Thank you very much.

22/07/2025: Hoog op de berg van Porto San Maurizio vinden we het bescheiden ristorante pizzeria L’Armuen in de Via San Leonardo 14, de straat die aan de overkant van de gevels een volledige met groen begroeide muur heeft. Het was er vrij druk, terras helemaal vol en ook binnen was er behoorlijk wat volk. Een echte hout pizza-oven bediend door een hardwerkende pizzaiolo. Hier zeker zo veel locals als toeristen die het ook konden vinden in hun buurtrestaurantje. Niet al te veel poespas, gewoon een lekkere Pasta Puttanesca en een Pizza Prosciutto en een heerlijke Pigato Superiore. Dit alles voor een mooi prijsje maar daarom zeker niet minder lekker.

15/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato da loro in 8 persone venerdì scorso ed era tutto buonissimo, per cui abbiamo deciso di andare nuovamente là sera successiva.. una delusione, sembrava avessero cambiato gestione in 24 ore, il giorno prima avevo preso una grigliata di pesce ed era buonissima ed abbondante l, il giorno seguente era misera, pezzi piccoli, mancava il calamaro e il branzino puzzava.. non capisco come possa succedere una cosa del genere.. delusa
