The unpretentious restaurant (vaulted ceiling), its food, and the people are still an insider's delight, even though it's been around for a long time. Friendly, attentive service. My top recommendation for anyone who knows that the simple can be very complex. Had a kind of vegetable gratin with asparagus. Accompanied by a simple local wine. 22/05/2025: Yesterday our friends brought us to Novantiqua - it was a real discovery! The place is not in plain sight, it is not so easy to find, and this is its special charm. It is not a walk-through place, but as if hidden for those who really appreciate the atmosphere, taste and attention to detail. The interior is a separate story: a vintage sewing machine, shelves with wines, a retro record player, crystal - everything is filled with soul. The huge wine list was a pleasant surprise, as was the original presentation of dishes in Japanese style. Sushi, dim sum, snacks - everything is top notch. You want to keep such a place a secret, but it is impossible not to share. I will definitely come back!

15/02/2025: Ogni anno (da ormai diverso tempo) quando sono in vacanza in queste zone, è ormai una tappa fissa la cena in questo ristorante. Mi sono sempre trovato 'molti bene' in rapporta alla qualità /'prezzo, piatti di pesce squisiti e molto abbondanti ma sopratutto anche di qualità. Personale premuroso e molto attento sopratutto 'gentile', consigliatissimo!!

05/05/2025: Gentilezza, pulizia e qualità nel cibo non sono sempre facili da trovare in questa regione, spesso ostile al turista. Se devo fare un confronto con tutti gli altri provati al ristorante Le nereidi ho trovato uno staff che saluta e ti accoglie con gentilezza ( sembra una banalità ma in Liguria sul mare non è sempre scontato) pulizia impeccabile ( in Liguria sul mare una rarità se non nei ristoranti di alto livello) qualità nel cibo e massima attenzione al cliente (una rarità in Liguria). Consigliato ci ritorneremo. Complimenti e continuate così perché siete differenti da tanti altri

03/05/2025: Ottimo tutto...dal servizio alla presentazione dei piatti .. squisiti. Notevoli gli antipasti di mare tutto molto fresco, degni di nota i tagliolini neri con con tartare di tonno e burrata, la frittura leggera e abbondante.

13/01/2025: Relaxing and informal place, and everything is good, it's Christmas lunch 2024 when often even where you eat well, you eat badly because they have to manage a full house, here there was excellent treatment, very good starters, first courses ditto and excellent second courses, interlude with abundant snails, delicious desserts and wines included in the price. Homemade cuisine, very kind staff, they do the second and even third round of the tables with the courses, and very attentive to the tables, you never had to ask for anything, like water or bread, it really deserves a lot, and I will be back soon.

07/01/2025: I would call it an inn - in the best sense of the word(!). The restaurant is open at short notice on the day of rest for a total of 11 people - of course only after a phone call from a local... Friendly, simple Ligurian cuisine - very, very good food 😍 These people took care of all the guests in a very short time and with passion - with about 1 hour's notice - great respect. Very personable!
