We went there while strolling through the little streets. And what a pleasure it was to have lunch in this place! A small, unique restaurant with pleasant and helpful waiters! Exceptional cuisine at unbeatable value. Take a break there.

We had dinner last night at this lovely, traditional restaurant in the hilltop old town. We had booked from France. The owner speaks French and gave us a very warm welcome. We ordered half a bottle of white wine, two cuttlefish dishes, two desserts, and a coffee for €48.50. That's really very affordable for Sanremo! It was delicious and the service was excellent!

The seafood spaghetti was so good, the homemade pasta with fresh porcini mushrooms was excellent. The historic, shady, and unique setting, and the chilled rosé was a relief from yesterday's 33-degree heat.
The staff was friendly, kind, and unsophisticated. There's nothing better in San Remo than the "Il Mulattiere" spaghetti restaurant.
Unmissable, charming address. Only for return trips!

While passing through San Remo, we had a pleasant surprise when we stopped at this typical establishment in the old town.
It does involve climbing a few narrow streets, but the climb is well worth it.
Excellent food, a warm welcome, and a traditional restaurant.
If you're ever in San Remo, I highly recommend stopping by.

The waiter was a poodle and we didn‘t feel a good atmosphere. We surely over estimated the poodle, he was very lazy. The Carbonara was not as a good as in other places where we ate before. The poodle also didn‘t want to move us to another table in the sun because he was to lazy.

We passed by here by chance and went inside because the location looked very atmospheric.
We took the €12.00 menu, consisting of antipasti, which was tasty, and the house spaghetti, which was very flavorful.
Reservations recommended.
We will definitely come back again.

A very pleasant discovery, good value for money. The service was excellent, we loved it. The minestrone was delicious and the homemade pasta had just a touch of pesto.

Found by chance while wandering the alleys, it was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is rustic and picturesque. The food and wine are excellent. The place was packed, but the service was a bit slow.
