28/04/2026: An excellent place to sample Ligurian cuisine and be delighted by its flavors and ingredients. The dishes I highly recommend are the gnocchi, the crostone with cod, and the stroscia with zabaglione ice cream. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the waiters are friendly and professional. I recommend booking, especially on weekends, as Dolce Acqua is a popular tourist destination for both Italians and French.

24/04/2026: A top-quality restaurant, from the attentive, kind yet discreet service (which isn't a given) to the quality of the dishes, everything done well (but well means WELL) as true chefs do, nothing improvised, no frills to hide questionable qualities, no over-the-top display to impress, only to enhance. I've tasted several courses, from starters to fish to dessert. We eat out often, and this has now become one of our favorite restaurants. Thanks to Fabri, Valeria, and their dining room staff. P.S. 13/12/2025: A small, intimate place that served us an excellent dinner. Having eaten the ravioli we saw being made that morning was a plus: the dough was incredibly thin, practically transparent, superb. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff who pampered us was another plus.

10/04/2026: We were disappointed...Despite a warm welcome, the dishes were absolutely not up to the restaurant's reputation...The brandade was tasteless and the pasta with calamari was also disappointing (the pasta seemed to have been over-dried and the calamari flavor was barely noticeable)...Only the stuffed artichokes were excellent...The prices are too high considering the quality of the food...A shame...

02/05/2026: We had high expectations due to the good reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was truly disappointing. The atmosphere was uncomfortable right from the start. Furthermore, things went wrong with the drinks right from the beginning: I ordered an iced lemon tea but received a peach iced tea without a word. Because it seemed busy, I decided to leave it, but it is still sloppy. The menu was very limited. I really wanted tagliatelle with pesto, but the staff advised against it and steered me towards the gnocchi. Ultimately, this turned out to be a completely bad choice, as it simply wasn't tasty. What made it even more frustrating was the service. After the meal, we waited at least fifteen minutes for the bill, while the staff walked past us several times without doing anything. Eventually, we just walked inside to pay ourselves. Once inside, it turned out there was a lack of communication, and the bill was subsequently taken back to the terrace. The only positive point was that they made an effort to arrange a table for us outside, even though it was actually full. All in all, not a pleasant experience and certainly not what you expect based on the reviews.

26/04/2026: If you're in Dolceacqua, I highly recommend Osteria 4 Gatti. Everything is delicious at a fair price; tasty traditional dishes, a refined setting, and the owners, a truly delightful couple! You can't miss it!

21/04/2026: Good morning, I've been to this restaurant before, but last time I wasn't entirely satisfied. I had tagliatelle with mushrooms, which was very good. Then I had the braised beef, which I wasn't entirely satisfied with. I found it rubbery and, in my opinion, not braised at all. Then a tiramisu, which had nothing to do with tiramisu at all, but was simply made with beaten eggs, coffee, and a few ladyfingers. It was runny and warm, and I could tell it had just been made, especially because while I was waiting for dessert, I heard the mixer whipping the eggs and saw a cup of hot coffee being brought to the kitchen. If I ever return for other dishes, I definitely won't order the braised beef, much less the tiramisu.
