06/08/2025: I'm in love with Imperia. Like every year, almost like a ritual, I have to go to Lanterna Blu to relive the same experience that has been with me since I was a child. La Lanterna Blu isn't just a restaurant; it's the symbol of this beautiful province. It's a magical place characterized by an elegant, distinguished, clean, and comfortable setting. Max makes you feel right at home, from the moment you greet him to when you leave. But let's move on to the dishes. What can I say? They're in keeping with the location and could sum it all up in one word: "Quality." The catch of the day I ate was sublime; the ingredients were fresh and served with care and elegance, the attention to the customer and their needs was attentive, and the wine list was vast. All these qualities should be taken for granted, but unfortunately, these days, they're not easy to find in the restaurant world. In short, maybe it's just me who has a soft spot for this place, but it's definitely a place worth visiting if you're in the area. See you soon, Max.

30/06/2025: For my birthday party, a great welcome, excellent dishes, impeccable service, all in delicacy, the excellent wines were also included in the price of the menu, a magnificent setting, everything contributed to making this evening a magical moment! Thank you for this beautiful evening

20/10/2025: By 8:30 p.m., there was no more mozzarella for a pizza. The large beer glasses were also sold out, although the beer wasn't overflowing. The taste was okay, but not outstanding.

29/10/2025: A place with original decor, meant to be chic but with paper napkins. A stuffy, stuffy atmosphere, not at all relaxed and artificial. A cold welcome. Aside from a few "chic" customers, the others seemed uncomfortable and tried to whisper, like us. We ordered several dishes. Small portions, nothing exceptional. And especially two dishes of uncleaned mussels! Expensive wines. We left as soon as the meal was over. Nothing was done to make us feel comfortable. There were three of us, and we're not used to being noisy. Elsewhere between Nice and Genoa, we ate mussels in various forms, always scraped. The waitresses were friendly, but you felt uncomfortable under the boss's supervision. Poor value for money. Under the same arcades in Imperia, we found better value for money and a much friendlier, warm welcome.

14/11/2025: The absolute best pizza in the world, served by the friendliest hosts ever. We've been coming here for 22 years now and can't imagine eating pizza anywhere else. You won't find such special, high-quality pizza made with so much love anywhere else. Thank you so much for your warmth every time we return!

03/11/2025: Unpleasant waitresses. The food was mediocre, the pasta was like carbonated bread with no flavor whatsoever. The wine was served in digestif glasses, and the waitress practically told me to get lost when I asked for wine glasses. We ended up drinking the wine with our digestif glasses. When the bill arrived, we were told that we had to pay in cash only because the machine wasn't working, but we didn't have any cash and there were no ATMs in the streets. Then, miraculously, the machine suddenly started working on the first try. A very unpleasant moment during our stay in San Remo at this restaurant.

29/10/2025: People who say the staff isn't very friendly are just used to being flattered. Offering a quality set menu for €12 with a starter and main course is really rare. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I recommend it.

30/10/2025: The place is a bit austere but pleasant. The food is excellent, and the service is very friendly and professional. I'll gladly return to try the other dishes.

14/10/2025: Found it here and visited immediately. The owner was very nice and accommodating. It's only 4:00 PM...no matter, I'll make you something delicious. It would only be more authentic if someone played the guitar and sang. The kitchen...magic. In Imperia again...heading straight over for dinner!

25/07/2025: Very friendly family place. We arrived after lunch time. The owner went back into the kitchen for us and made us delicious pasta (carbonara and putanesca).

19/08/2025: As indicated by the 5-star rating for the food, it's definitely a place where you eat well. Even if it's quite expensive. That said, I find it incredible that the atmosphere is so neglected. No ventilation (and I don't even mean air conditioning). The bathroom is dirty and old, and within a single evening, it practically became a stinking latrine. Tradition and history are one thing. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't give the place dignity. And respect our customers.

30/07/2025: The place is noisy and the service is rather slow. The appetizers are excellent, the first courses are average.

02/10/2025: We chose this restaurant specifically for a lunch with friends. We called ahead and made a reservation because it's not very big and we wanted to be sure there would be a table for us. We sat outside and ordered meat in pepper sauce and pasta with seafood. We were very pleased with the homemade prosecco; it was pleasant and filling. The basket of homemade bread was delicious. The pasta was simply amazing, some of the best I've ever had. The meat was delicious. We also ordered paella and it was delicious! Desserts were excellent! The service was fast! Everything was wonderful.

20/09/2025: A quaint restaurant in true Ligurian style. Excellent fresh fish, cooked to perfection. We had paella and fried anchovies... amazing!!! Our dog was also welcomed. Highly recommended
