20/10/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday, cover charge for 2 adults and a child was €9!!!! Small portions and the bill was incredibly high.
€7 each was absolutely insane 😱😱😱😱, not even a single euro off. We'll never go back again...

19/10/2025: We visited in early September. The restaurant, unfortunately, looks very nice. The waiter and the owner are very kind. Everything is very clean and tidy.
Unfortunately, the food is a disaster.
From the look of it, and from the first bite, it was clear that everything had been reheated several times and had been languishing in the kitchen for some time.
We had confirmation from local acquaintances that, unfortunately, it's considered a restaurant with very poor food.

21/09/2025: We had our breakfast here and everything was delicious and at a good price. I enjoyed my lapte and a choclate croissant, also a panini with salmon, very good.
19/06/2025: Very, very dirty place. Floor with a stain of yellow liquid like orange juice, two crumpled napkins, crumbs of croissants on my table that are not cleaned when they bring me my coffee. I point out that the bar was empty and, behind the counter, there were three people chatting. I look at a white shelf next to my table: a finger of dust! The toilet is in disastrous conditions in terms of cleanliness and it is not the first time I have been in. Surprise... I get to the cashier.....2.50 for a coffee. I am happy to spend it for a service up to par but there it would be nas. Finally... They always address me informally. Considering that I am a lady no longer very young and that I have always used the formal sir, it is not clear why they do not understand that it is not respectful and that the customer does not appreciate familiarity. NEVER AGAIN

Big flaw: there's no bathroom.

19/10/2025: Pinsotto boasts a very good pinsa, a clean restroom, and friendly, courteous staff. However, its outdoor location, while attractive for tourists, is severely compromised by the proximity of garbage bins, which cause unpleasant odors and excessive flies, creating significant discomfort and requiring the bins to be moved immediately. The seating is too small; a reorganization is suggested, using umbrellas to create more comfortable and private seating. One idea to start with would be to eat around the umbrellas using stands. Another very negative aspect concerns the thin paper used as a base for the pinsa: it cuts and shatters easily, posing a risk of ingestion. It is essential to remove it before serving or cut the pinsa in the kitchen to avoid this risk. Overall, the restaurant offers a good product but urgently needs to address logistical and service issues to enhance the customer experience.
12/10/2025: Very good pinsa with a light dough. The dining room isn't very large. The main problem is parking.

22/09/2025: We relied on them for the catering of our child's baptism, and they demonstrated great professionalism and kindness! All the guests were thrilled with the goodness of the food, the fruit tart was exceptional! If I need anything in the future, I will rely on them again.
25/07/2025: The brioche tastes like focaccia, the biscuits have a soft crust, and the clerk served me as if I were bothering her. An unpleasant experience.

13/08/2025: If you want to take a trip back in time, you can book. Everything is still from the 1950s... But I'm telling you everything. No air conditioning and too much noise with the windows open.
24/06/2025: Clean, quiet, basic in the rooms but full of past charm and history, clearly evident in the furnishings of the rooms on the ground floor. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant are now closed, victims of the events of recent years, but precise, friendly and impeccable service at the reception and at the breakfast counter.
The location would not even be too far from Genoa, especially considering the price and ease of parking, but very limited in travel times due to the state of traffic on the highway.

24/10/2025: The place is heavenly, the view and location are priceless. I'll start with this because I absolutely fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the hotel experience wasn't.
The overall neglect of the place, with frayed curtains and crooked rods, slightly warped fake parquet floors, a plastic shower curtain, and questionable cleanliness.
Given the difficulty in reaching the property (about 3 km of wonderful but not "easy" trail) with hundreds of steps and dirt roads, you're forced to dine in their restaurant, a room with a breathtaking view.
There's a catch... the photos of the dishes published on the website don't reflect reality at all. We spent €100 for two people for a second course consisting of half a thin slice of swordfish, cooked to a slightly boiled effect, tossed on a base of bagged salad (a mix of radicchio and greens, very little), €27, along with two grilled eggplant and zucchini wafers. A cover charge of €7.50 each for pre-cooked sandwiches, half a liter of house wine (€15), a dessert such as Bindi, and a bitter liqueur.
The red tablecloth was made of synthetic, non-iron material and wrinkled.
In a place like this, I can pay even more for dinner, but everything has to be up to par.
The same goes for breakfast, everything was defrosted and the cake was always packaged—€12 each.
For a medium-sized dog, we paid €25 more (it was €35, which was a special price for us) than the price of the room booked through Booking.com, without having any utensils (a mat/bowl).
As we very politely, merely as a suggestion, told the owner, simply charging high prices isn't enough to elevate the quality of the establishment; the factors that lead to that goal are multiple and interconnected. The exchange of opinions wasn't entirely pleasant, and the somewhat arrogant attitude and responses are what made me decide to write this negative review, something I never do.
Advice: if you ever decide to go, don't bring a trolley, but a backpack.
18/09/2025: Why this hotel calls itself a resort is beyond my comprehension.
The view from the room and from the restaurant terrace was fantastic. The super-nice colleague from Senegal made everything perfect; he was so friendly and so nice.
Everyone else wasn't so keen on going in the off-season.
But the boat trip is still worth it for relaxing and unwinding, including romantic sunsets. The prices are too high for what's on offer.

We dined here with 12 people, and when it came time to take our orders, the waiter became annoyed because one of our guests ordered a first course before the appetizer. He showed us the order pad, asking where he should write the appetizer, since the first line was already taken up by spaghetti with clams. Result: the appetizer wasn't ordered.
We then ordered gnocchi with Fassona ragù, and they got tomato gnocchi, and instead of the lemon scallops, we got chicken breast with potatoes. We then asked for three glasses of Vermentino, and the waiter replied that he would bring us a bottle of local wine. Only after we further insisted did we get the three glasses of wine. When it came time to order coffees, the waiter again became annoyed when we ordered a caffè macchiato, replying that that wasn't a real coffee, and even worse if ordered with hot milk.
The icing on the cake when it came to paying the bill: we were told that only one of us would pay €538 (!!), or at most we could split the amount between those paying (when among us were both families of four and singles). The only thing we were told was, "I can't waste time splitting the bill." Only after we strongly protested did the annoyed waiter finally decide to split the bill equally.
The disastrous outcome of the evening was probably also our fault; we should have realized there was definitely a reason the place was almost completely empty.

08/10/2025: Already a reasonably satisfied customer, I ordered ten pizzas for a dinner in Sori with friends. I called at 6:05 PM (they don't accept orders before that time), believing that by ordering early, the quality and service wouldn't change and that their job would actually be easier (silly me). When asked, "What time is delivery?" I replied 8:30 PM. At 8:35 PM, the pizzas arrived. Inedible! Simply because they were obviously cooked well in advance (to save themselves work during rush hour?) and then reheated for delivery. Ten very hard pizzas with dry toppings and coarsely chopped meats. One of them was mostly burned. All the guests left it on their plates. Never again! It's a shame because, while they're not a top-notch restaurant, they're one of the few in the area that delivers. The delivery guys are always kind and helpful.

17/09/2025: Focaccia sold for its weight in gold. It's good because everything filled with oil is good.
12/06/2025: Very good focaccia but staff needs to be reviewed.
Kindness and courtesy should be the order of the day for those who work with the public (even if you are in Genoa and you could hide behind the poor welcome).
After spending 10 euros on focaccia they denied me a plastic fork inviting me to go and buy it at Coop and saying that focaccia is eaten with your hands.
All this just because I had a small tray with vegetables that I wanted to eat with the focaccia (even standing up not necessarily at the table) together with a friend of mine who was eating a salad taken from them.
Forks, even if you are a customer, can only be requested with the purchase of the salad.
I advise the owner to review the marketing strategy and train his employees also on adequate communication skills, to deny a fork losing 4 customers who will certainly not speak well of the place I think is not that productive.
Congratulations again for the focaccia instead!

12/08/2025: Finally, a new burger joint run by PIZZA TIME!
A brand-new, tastefully renovated restaurant: an open kitchen, tables with high stools, and a modern, welcoming atmosphere.
The food is excellent both inside, with pleasant background music, and at home with takeout.
The kids' menu is perfect, but the real stars are the burgers: super-fresh ingredients, surprising combinations, and flavors that captivate you from the first bite.
My favorite? KILL BILL... a flavor explosion you absolutely must try!
30/07/2025: The food was delicious, and the waitress was super nice and friendly. Even though we didn't speak Italian, she did everything she could to make us feel comfortable and even translated things for us.
