10/11/2025: We went to Cialtroneria yesterday, on the recommendation of a friend (the legendary Andrea), and it was a delicious discovery! Initially, we just wanted a quick aperitivo, but the atmosphere and menu convinced us to stop by to try their dishes... and it was absolutely worth it! The food menu is on the wall, and the drinks menu is available via QR code. Special praise to the ladies at the bar: cocktails expertly prepared according to authentic recipes, not "random" as is often the case in other places in Genoa. Quality, courtesy, and hospitality: you really have everything you need. Well done, keep it up! We'll definitely be back.

17/10/2025: The staff was friendly and the location was truly pleasant. The drinks were good and carefully prepared, and the food was excellent, although the portions were a bit small (perhaps because the table was for 11 or 12 people? I don't know). Overall, however, it was a positive experience.

30/06/2025: Neglected place, without a sign that makes its identity clear. In my opinion, the prices are too high to justify the place and the quality of the food. A 20 euro fish appetizer where the fish was almost absent and the salmon tasted stale... The badly cooked grilled fish where I had to give up the overcooked tuna... I gave up dessert and coffee to limit the DAMAGE... honestly, the owners need to review some things. For me it was not a happy expense...

18/05/2025: This is an excellent place if you just want to come to enjoy the setting. The music is very soft, and it’s a perfect place to read a book on your own if you are a solo diner. It’s mainly a Pizzeria but also serve some steak as a side option do not under any circumstance or their own Amaro.Its called Basanotto. It’s basically mix between Limoncello washing up liquid and chemical basil. Absolutely revolting.

14/04/2025: Neapolitan pizza with a high (and chewy) crust and a very thin center. Not my favorite type of pizza. Excellent ingredients. Average to high prices. Long wait times.

25/10/2025: Flavours delicious but service a little sour. No customers but they said they would need to charge extra if we ate there for our coppas. Not great business as we won’t go back.

10/11/2025: I returned to this restaurant for dinner last night, as always, when I treat myself to excellent fresh fish at reasonable prices; and as always, I was not disappointed. Each time I choose different dishes, so I can try them all. This time, my friends and I had as appetizers: The very fresh and tender octopus with potatoes, and a mixed seafood antipasto (a fascinating dish from this restaurant that I highly recommend), followed by spaghetti alla brezza marinara for the first course, stuffed squid for the second course, and finally, chocolate soufflé for dessert. Everything was truly delicious!

08/11/2025: We went for lunch today and were amazed by the excellent food. We'll be back tomorrow.

07/12/2025: We've been wanting to try this place for a while. Yesterday afternoon, we walked past and bumped into someone I believe to be the owner, who was closing up shop. We asked if they'd be open today, and when they said yes, we asked if we could reserve a table for two. Another yes! We gave them our names and were told, "I'll write it down right away, see you tomorrow at 1:30 PM." Today, we showed up, and the same lady we'd spoken to yesterday denied having a reservation in our name, telling us we'd have to wait until 1:30 PM and that if a table was available, she'd let us sit down. What can I say? Crossed off the list right away. If the level of service and customer care is this high, then it's not worth it, ever!

23/07/2025: Very good octopus, perfectly cooked. The pasta vongole is also delicious! A warm welcome and very reasonable prices. Beware of the sun, which changes direction and quickly becomes dull in summer. A perfect lunchtime spot for a short lunch break.

22/10/2025: Fairly good value for money, mainly due to the view from the room when you book a sea-view room with a balcony. Free parking. Very clean. You're provided with the essentials: two large hand towels and one for the bidet. Comfortable bedding.

27/11/2025: It would be nice if you started hiring serious people. You can't wait two hours for a sandwich and have the staff want to close before closing time. Besides, there's never a lot of people. Either you fire these people, or I don't know what's going to happen.

23/11/2025: Terrible, I bought a bucket of chicken with bone for 24 euros and it was raw inside.

01/11/2025: This was our first time at this restaurant, and we had a great time. The place is cozy, quiet, and well-kept. The waitress was really kind. Everything was delicious, especially the salt-and-pepper shrimp, which were truly delicious! We'll definitely be back.

05/10/2025: We ordered on Just Eat around 7:30 PM with delivery "as soon as possible." The order was accepted with delivery scheduled for 8:15 PM. Unfortunately, from then on, an interminable wait began: the app marked "order delivered" well before the actual delivery, and after several status changes and no clear communication, the food didn't arrive until 10 PM. We tried contacting the restaurant several times starting at 9:15 PM (24 calls) without ever receiving a response, which made the wait even more frustrating. I understand that Saturday nights can be chaotic, but a two-hour delay and no communication is not ideal. As for the food, it was good but nothing exceptional: average portions, decent but unmemorable flavors. Not bad, but not enough to make up for the overall experience. It's a shame, because a little more attention to communication would have been enough to turn a bad evening into a minor, understandable mix-up.

29/08/2025: We went here with the family for pizza, and all the pizzas were incredibly delicious and large. We finished with a small Nutella pizza – which was a real highlight for the kids. Perfect for delivery or takeout :)
