10/05/2025: Surprisingly good pizza. Definitely worth visiting.

18/11/2025: The cheese focaccia is the only good thing. Extremely long wait times, slow service, rude staff, horrible and outdated place, high prices for what they offer. The typical place where it feels like they're doing you a favor. Wow! Go somewhere else so the owners will be happy.

14/11/2025: On the recommendation of some Recco residents, we went to this focacceria to try the authentic Fugassa di Recco. It was very good, and I could tell it was different from the cheese focaccia you find at any other bakery. Unfortunately, the others, one with onion and one plain, weren't that great. The service was a shame; there was only one woman at the counter serving a long line of people. Perhaps because of confusion, perhaps because she was tired, she couldn't understand what I was asking, even though they were simple requests (e.g., "Give me the piece of focaccia with onion," and she cut it in half to give me just one slice). The prices were also a bit high, but that's to be expected. The ambiance, on the other hand, isn't bad, very rustic, with antiques from the last century.

25/04/2025: Nous avons dîné avec ma compagne au Ristorante Ippogrifo, sans doute l’un des établissements les plus chics de Gênes. À deux minutes du bord de mer, ce restaurant allie une cuisine raffinée à un service haut de gamme. Le personnel discret et professionnel contribue à une expérience culinaire remarquable. Que ce soit en famille ou en tête-à-tête, je recommande vivement cette adresse d’exception.

02/04/2025: Le service et le cadre ( d'ailleurs indevinable quand on est à l'extérieur) sont vraiment à la hauteur d'un étoilé. Malheureusement, les plats manquent totalement de personnalité ! Avec des salades de fruits de mer, du turbot ou de la sole, on doit pouvoir amener de tels produits à un autre niveau. Le chef semble blasé et on ne ressent aucune émotion dans ses assiettes : la sole pourrait être servie avec une sauce ou une préparation originale ( meunière ? sauce avec agrumes ), le turbot mériterait une purée de topinambour, des champignons, etc... J'ai cuisiné ces plats en NORMANDIE et en BRETAGNE, régions côtières françaises, puisque ma famille travaillait dans le secteur de la gastronomie, et je n'aurais jamais laissé ces produits sans mise en valeur. Les produits sont frais mais méritent un Twist à la hauteur des prix et du lieu ! Chef, réveillez vous !!!

10/11/2025: We went to Cialtroneria yesterday, on the recommendation of a friend (the legendary Andrea), and it was a delicious discovery! Initially, we just wanted a quick aperitivo, but the atmosphere and menu convinced us to stop by to try their dishes... and it was absolutely worth it! The food menu is on the wall, and the drinks menu is available via QR code. Special praise to the ladies at the bar: cocktails expertly prepared according to authentic recipes, not "random" as is often the case in other places in Genoa. Quality, courtesy, and hospitality: you really have everything you need. Well done, keep it up! We'll definitely be back.

17/10/2025: The staff was friendly and the location was truly pleasant. The drinks were good and carefully prepared, and the food was excellent, although the portions were a bit small (perhaps because the table was for 11 or 12 people? I don't know). Overall, however, it was a positive experience.

20/11/2025: Dry focaccia has become an addiction for me, excellent products and very kind staff.

18/05/2025: This is an excellent place if you just want to come to enjoy the setting. The music is very soft, and it’s a perfect place to read a book on your own if you are a solo diner. It’s mainly a Pizzeria but also serve some steak as a side option do not under any circumstance or their own Amaro.Its called Basanotto. It’s basically mix between Limoncello washing up liquid and chemical basil. Absolutely revolting.

14/04/2025: Neapolitan pizza with a high (and chewy) crust and a very thin center. Not my favorite type of pizza. Excellent ingredients. Average to high prices. Long wait times.

10/11/2025: I returned to this restaurant for dinner last night, as always, when I treat myself to excellent fresh fish at reasonable prices; and as always, I was not disappointed. Each time I choose different dishes, so I can try them all. This time, my friends and I had as appetizers: The very fresh and tender octopus with potatoes, and a mixed seafood antipasto (a fascinating dish from this restaurant that I highly recommend), followed by spaghetti alla brezza marinara for the first course, stuffed squid for the second course, and finally, chocolate soufflé for dessert. Everything was truly delicious!

08/11/2025: We went for lunch today and were amazed by the excellent food. We'll be back tomorrow.
