30/08/2025: With a reservation for seven people, I find two round tables, a carefully crafted silver table setting, excellent bread accompanied by a small plate of mountain butter, and a wine list that reads like a dictionary, and unfortunately, the wine we chose is sold out. This is where the small inconveniences begin. My appetizer, brandacujun stockfish, was excellent, hot, with excellent olives. The same cannot be said for my friends' breaded Monterosso anchovies, which had a slightly worn flavor. Meanwhile, the 10-year-old girl awaits her dish without the slightest attention. The first course: tagliatelle with small-sized scampi in a smoky-flavored bisque, cold and overcooked. The spaghetti with clams was borderline acceptable. Ravioli were served in a used gravy boat, like a carafe, without a spoon or a saucer. Obviously, since I couldn't eat, they asked me, and I replied that I didn't like it. Then the chef showed up, hatless, from the kitchen where another person in civilian clothes was milling around, and insistently demanded explanations, which I promptly provided. He insisted that everything was fresh and the other table had already eaten... We got up and got discounted on the two first courses. 23/12/2025: One of the best bars in Genoa! Breakfast, lunch, snacks, aperitifs, and much more, we've always found excellent food and a wide variety at PAPERINO! And the ice cream is also top-notch 👍🏻 On nice days, you can sit outside and enjoy the sun, while in the winter, they have plenty of space inside, too. The staff is always very kind and professional; we've always had a great experience.

28/10/2025: We've been there several times in the last few days. The coffee has always been super good. The baked goods aren't bad, but there's still room for improvement. The service ranges from rude to incredibly friendly.

22/09/2025: We relied on them for the catering of our child's baptism, and they demonstrated great professionalism and kindness! All the guests were thrilled with the goodness of the food, the fruit tart was exceptional! If I need anything in the future, I will rely on them again.

25/07/2025: The brioche tastes like focaccia, the biscuits have a soft crust, and the clerk served me as if I were bothering her. An unpleasant experience.

19/05/2025: Siamo ritornati a distanza di qualche anno e abbiamo ritrovato piacevolmente la stessa qualità e cortesia. Locale elegante con cucina piuttosto raffinata e ricercata, piatti non convenzionali con gusti davvero speciali. Ogni portata è una piacevole sensazione, crema di zucca con calamaro croccante davvero fantastica! Luogo assolutamente consigliato magari per festeggiare una ricorrenza e andare sul sicuro perché mangerete senza dubbio alla grande. Personale estremamente preparato, location top, del resto siete a Boccadasse, non serve dire nulla. Conto giusto per la qualità generale!

16/05/2025: Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Il pesce è di ottima qualità. Le porzioni soprattutto dei secondi un po’ troppo piccole ( il trancio di ombrina seppur squisito erano 3 bocconi). Nel complesso sia stati bene, piazzetta molto tranquilla a pochi metri dal mare, in considerazione del conto vorresti mangiare un pochino di più .

16/09/2025: We stumbled upon the shop spontaneously, just before official opening hours, and were greeted warmly. We ordered two pizzas to go. We were able to watch the preparation and baking. Our food arrived in just five minutes. The pizzas were very tasty. They could easily charge a few euros more for these delicious pizzas! We'd be happy to return. Note: There's not much seating.

12/09/2025: The quality of the pizza was completely disappointing. The dough was almost burnt and so dry that, when you tried to fold it, it broke and crumbled, while the toppings were sparse and poorly made. A good-quality pizza should be soft and springy, not hard as a biscuit. To make matters worse, the delivery was delayed by about half an hour, even though my home is very close by.

26/09/2025: The gelato is good, undoubtedly among the best in the area. It's a shame the staff isn't very attentive and courteous. In response to the owner: It didn't quite work out that way. I came in and asked which was the smallest container to take away. Half a kilo, the clerk replied, three flavors. So I didn't even have time to ask for the three flavors before I was immediately interrupted and asked to get a receipt first, quite rightly so. I paid €12.50 and asked for vanilla. "We don't have any." So first you make me pay and then you tell me it's not available. I understand we're in Genoa, but I don't think that's the right thing to do. Anyway, in the end I got the cream, chocolate, and hazelnut: each one better than the last.

22/09/2025: This is one of the better gelateria in my neighborhood, so when I don't want to go far, I can choose a tasty gelato from this shop. In past, the staff hasn't been so friendly, but the more recent visit was better. They have classic flavours and some more original, like the salted caramel and nocciola with wafer that are top choices.

23/02/2026: Everything was perfect, everything was very traditional, the spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the welcome was wonderful. I felt right at home. I recommend it!!!

04/01/2026: Super super welcoming staff, difficult to find people so kind, it's not for everyone.. always with a smile and he in the fantastic service.. we are family with Chanel.. thanks again it was all super super good!!

10/12/2025: While I was waiting for my order, the people in charge of preparing the food started talking and laughing as if there were no orders. I strongly advise against ordering takeout (not on a tray) for people who hate wasting time.

07/12/2025: Too hasty and consequently inattentive. Always missing a straw, napkin, or ice cream spoon.

16/12/2025: A supplier kindly gave us a fig and walnut pandolce for Christmas from this bakery, which I hadn't heard of since we're out of the area. I'll definitely be going...it's delicious! Bravo!

20/11/2025: Dry focaccia has become an addiction for me, excellent products and very kind staff.

24/11/2025: For lunch, a set menu featuring a burger of the month, fries, and a drink. Excellent meat, fresh and plentiful, with a top-notch selection of ingredients. Fresh potatoes, cut "rustic" with the skin on and fried to perfection. Excellent value for money. The only complaint was that the atmosphere was a bit chilly, perhaps due to the constant opening of the automatic door.

26/10/2025: Excellent burger 🍔 double! Everything was good, plentiful, and tasty, and not too heavy compared to other burgers I've tried. I'll definitely be back!

14/12/2025: Kürtőskalács are exceptional! I missed Budapest, so by chance, at the pizzeria Pizza Sì near the Tossini Grande, I saw they made Kürtőskalács to see if they were like the ones I eat in Hungary. DELICIOUS!!
