Condivido una delle recensioni lette sotto. Sono ritornato dopo tanto tempo (quando ancora c’era la gestione precedente), e ne sono uscito deluso. Location interna sempre deliziosa (anche se il dehor fuori con le sedie e materiale accatastato potrebbe essere sistemato meglio), grande gentilezza del personale. Pochi piatti (e mi piace) ma molto particolari (mia moglie ha avuto difficoltà a ordinare). Ho fatto scelte sfortunate, perché non mi ha convinto né l’antipasto né il primo (i gusci di gambero nel sugo di pesce non sono il massimo). Da rivedere assolutamente il servizio, non all’altezza di un locale ‘ricercato’. Prezzo elevato per come cenato e per il contesto (50 euro a testa senza dolce e solo un bicchiere di vino). A mio esclusivo parere, dove i ristoranti un po’ raffinati mi piacciono, questo ha un po’ di pecche… Il cibo buono, di ottima qualità il pesce con una mise en place piacevole a vedersi… Proprio per questo devo, sempre a mio parere, bocciare il resto, quando fai piatti “elevati” con prezzi importanti e porzioni ridotte, ci si aspetta anche un ottimo servizio, che purtroppo così non è stato… gentilissimi per carità, ma poco presenti in sala, poco savoir faire, vino non illustrato, pane non presente durante le portate… se si dà un certo tono al ristorante tutto dev’essere allo stesso livello.

Typical Genoese cuisine revisited with great skill by Giuseppe who prepared some truly exquisite dishes for us and Antonella who immediately made us feel at ease. Thank you both for giving us a truly special evening!!! Highly recommended

Ancient tavern on the hill...and located in Salita Giovanni Maria Cotella...outside it has a beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view and inside we also find a beautiful fireplace, if you come to this restaurant and just to finally be able to find some dishes delicious with great flavours, starting from the first and second courses up to the delicious desserts and here you can also find some delicious wines. The place is warm and welcoming.. all the staff are always ready to meet your every need. Furthermore here you can find excellent fish and some of the best meat, and excellent hot bread with river oil and butter, and abundant appetizers including, to name at least one, the...Brandacuyun. If you don't know it yet I recommend you come and try it and I'm sure it will be difficult for you to forget it and it's the right place to spend an OK weekend.

If you are looking for a sumptuous lunch with dishes served in enormous quantities, this is definitely not the place, specifying that in any case you won't leave hungry. As chef Giuseppe you experience a fine culinary experience where each course is studied in detail, with the right attention to the seasonality of the products, all accompanied by a wine list of the highest level yet affordable for everyone. Kindness and attention to detail reign supreme and if you are lucky and the day permits it, the chef is always ready to tell and explain each dish with clarity and passion. Recommended for all those people who want to pamper themselves.

Piatti di qualità, servizio nella norma, location (interno) migliorabile. Prezzi corretti per ciò che viene offerto. Da riprovare.
