24/09/2025: Introduction: Lunch delivery via Just Eat. An overall negative experience due, in my opinion, to the restaurant's dishonest and inappropriate behavior. They didn't specify lunchtime closures for their Oregina address on the delivery app (probably to avoid losing local customers during that time slot). Therefore, the food arrived cold, as the drive from Sampierdarena was much longer than I'd anticipated. Furthermore, there was a 30-minute delay compared to the delivery time. The food wouldn't have been bad if it hadn't (obviously) arrived cold and a bit rubbery; I had to reheat it and pan-fry it to eat lunch. The restaurant should have had a chance to notify me of the distance and the issue, as they called to inform me of a necessary change to my order. In general, not recommended...

19/07/2025: The sandwiches were good, even though they arrived cold. Ordered at 8:00 PM, delivered at 10:00 PM... a bit late with a lot of bounces! We accept the delivery driver's apologies, but next time I'll pick them up.

25/10/2025: I had a good spritz. So why are you leaving a negative review? Simple, because the owner was incredibly rude. A cocktail spilled at our table; the person involved got soaked and went home to change. When it came time to pay, the very kind cashier was embarrassed about whether she should charge me. I said, "Of course, it's fair that I pay it." But she felt compelled to involve the owner and ask what to do. The guy in question shrugged and replied, "Make him pay." So far, no problem, but as we were leaving, he verbally attacked the poor girl at the cash register because she brought up the issue of "whether I should pay it or not" in front of me. I felt guilty for that poor girl being treated this way by a disrespectful and rude employer. I think it's obvious that I should never say no again.

24/09/2025: The place itself is charming, with a pleasant atmosphere and a historic touch that certainly deserves more. Unfortunately, however, the experience is ruined by the owners' attitude: snobbish, unhelpful, and constantly unwelcoming. Furthermore, their treatment of customers is not at all uniform: with some they are kind and attentive, with others downright rude, creating a distinctly "stepchild" atmosphere. It's a real shame, because the place has all the makings of a welcoming place, but the management makes it uninviting and difficult to recommend.

02/07/2025: We ordered two aperol sodas(pointing it in the menú) and at the time of payment they charged us as two aperol spritz (double price). We tried to explain the difference and the woman on charge was really rude and did not want to discuss It, "that is what you drank so that is what you pay". Tourist trap

01/05/2025: Bellissima esperienza, trenette al pesto e spaghetti allo scoglio buonissimi, ottimi anche i dessert e la birra, porzioni abbondanti, ottimo servizio e tutto ad un prezzo più che ragionevole (ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo). Locale pulito e accogliente, abbiamo avuto il grande piacere di essere stati serviti da Simone, persone come lui fanno la differenza, torneremo di certo!

16/08/2025: I ordered a Nutella crepe and was given a crepe-sized pancake. The flavor, thickness, and filling were all made according to the recipe and method of a pancake. The cashiers were the same people preparing the dishes, so I had to wait about 10 minutes to order.

20/09/2025: Delicious focaccia, Recco focaccia, savory pies in various flavors (zucchini, stracchino cheese, etc.), pizza, pretzels, brioches, shortcrust pastry, cookies, tarts... just a 2-minute drive from the fair. Very friendly!

14/09/2025: Rude and impolite staff. 5kg of focaccia €117. Maybe something's wrong.

25/06/2025: We arrived late, but a piece of focaccia would have been enough… they sat us down. There was only one first course left: pasta with aubergines, but due to a strong allergy we couldn’t eat it. We opted for two second courses: dry omelette roll (last available portion) and rubbery and flavourless chicken, but both served with well-cooked potatoes. We ordered a beer and soda (panaché) and a can of sprite and a small beer in a medium glass arrived. It makes a better impression to say it’s not there: €5.80 is too much. Cost: €26.50

09/10/2025: DO NOT EAT HERE Food was good. Service was great. Then our €92 bill ballooned to €161. Seems we were hot with the usual tip, city tax, charges for napkins, cutlery, etc. Read the reviews. It’s a trend at this place.

30/09/2025: Amazing experience. Food is so fresh. Staff is so attentive. We sat by the water and had a perfect experience. I don’t understand the reviews. If you don’t want to go to a high end restaurants that changes more than the rest of Italy, don’t come to Portofino. 100% worth your money!
