28/09/2025: Found it by chance...but it was truly a dream! We had lunch in a family atmosphere and enjoyed excellent food...from appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious and authentic...what can I say...we'll be back soon!

01/09/2025: The wait was long, the service was friendly, but what surprised us most was that we paid 60 euros for the plate in the photo. If it was 600 grams, the amount of meat was exceptionally underestimated. Furthermore, we were misled by the waiter, who told us the set included lobster, when it was actually crawfish. Perhaps dishes with the weight listed are a better choice and less of a surprise. Desserts were decent. The house wine was pleasant.

17/08/2025: Welcoming staff in a very homey outdoor setting. Delicious dishes, especially the squid ink tagliolini with shrimp. I recommend booking in advance, given the strong flu season, especially in the summer.

26/12/2025: I'm not a refined person, and I'd probably eat the whole table without a fuss. Unfortunately, both my girlfriend and I immediately felt ill after eating the raw fish, so much so that we had to run home to use the bathroom... A truly awful experience.

23/12/2025: If you are looking for real seafood, prepared with respect and technique, Esoticum is the place to go. I went for dinner without huge expectations and left already planning my next visit. The ambiance is cozy and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy a great meal.

11/01/2026: Dinner to celebrate a friend's retirement... Good food, welcoming, and down-to-earth atmosphere Simple cuisine, good fried food, and unique mussel ravioli. Friendly staff.

22/12/2025: If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. We arrived for lunch at around 1:30 PM for the set menu, and there was little or nothing left of the set menu, but that's not the problem; it can happen. We ordered two off-menu pasta with pesto, which arrived immediately. Later, when I think the owner approached, I commented that the pesto was bought, and he got annoyed, responding very rudely, "Goodness, for €15 more, thanks, you can eat!" 😳😳😳 So we stopped at the first course and left. The waitress, on the other hand, was very kind and polite, very sorry for what had happened. Never again. I already had a review from four years ago, and it was positive. Never again

12/10/2025: Hands down, the best kebab in Genoa! 🥙 I often come here for lunch with my colleagues. The owner is very kind and friendly, the service is excellent, and the meat is amazing. Highly recommended ✨️

21/09/2025: We had our breakfast here and everything was delicious and at a good price. I enjoyed my lapte and a choclate croissant, also a panini with salmon, very good.

19/06/2025: Very, very dirty place. Floor with a stain of yellow liquid like orange juice, two crumpled napkins, crumbs of croissants on my table that are not cleaned when they bring me my coffee. I point out that the bar was empty and, behind the counter, there were three people chatting. I look at a white shelf next to my table: a finger of dust! The toilet is in disastrous conditions in terms of cleanliness and it is not the first time I have been in. Surprise... I get to the cashier.....2.50 for a coffee. I am happy to spend it for a service up to par but there it would be nas. Finally... They always address me informally. Considering that I am a lady no longer very young and that I have always used the formal sir, it is not clear why they do not understand that it is not respectful and that the customer does not appreciate familiarity. NEVER AGAIN

05/01/2026: Excellent sciamadda! Traditional vegetable pies, farinata, frisceu, sweet milk, fried cod... Top, well-priced, excellent quality, and very kind owners.

08/12/2025: We ate here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. We definitely won't be returning. Lunch was fine: the food was decent, the staff helpful, the place always quite empty so the service was very quick, and the decor was simple. Dinner was a total disaster...never had a worse sushi experience. The rice was stringy, the fish wasn't fresh in flavor, almost hard in texture, the avocado (usually soft) fell apart at the first bite, and some sauces or dishes, like the saffron rice, completely packaged with the classic supermarket bag flavor. Maybe it was just an unlucky evening, or maybe not, but we're definitely not satisfied with what we ate in relation to how much we spent.

16/11/2025: An institution in Sampierdarena, as far as breakfast is concerned, it's inconvenient because you're forced to stand and the price of coffee is a bit high.

10/11/2025: I returned to this restaurant for dinner last night, as always, when I treat myself to excellent fresh fish at reasonable prices; and as always, I was not disappointed. Each time I choose different dishes, so I can try them all. This time, my friends and I had as appetizers: The very fresh and tender octopus with potatoes, and a mixed seafood antipasto (a fascinating dish from this restaurant that I highly recommend), followed by spaghetti alla brezza marinara for the first course, stuffed squid for the second course, and finally, chocolate soufflé for dessert. Everything was truly delicious!

08/11/2025: We went for lunch today and were amazed by the excellent food. We'll be back tomorrow.
