03/01/2026: A place without glamorous pretensions but... the staff are as exquisite as the dishes they serve.

07/12/2025: A traditional restaurant with a predominantly local clientele, without any touristy pretensions but with a very friendly service that makes you feel at home. The dishes are excellent, and the selection is varied enough to please every palate. Everything is delicious, but you absolutely must try the cheese focaccia, a specialty.

18/11/2025: It replaces what was once a Sestri institution, the "Bar Luigi"... we can say excellently! Tastefully and functionally renovated premises, pastry shop and bakery, excellent for lunch. The staff is young and friendly... recommended. PS: 10 cappuccino!

19/12/2025: We hosted a pre-Christmas dinner with colleagues here, and it was a pleasure. The atmosphere was family-friendly, the staff courteous, and the cuisine was excellent and carefully prepared. I'll be back soon to try other recipes. Riccardo

12/12/2025: Absolutely to be avoided: trio of first courses: ravioli, pansotti, lasagna, all barely smeared with sauce...dry!! Scallops with artichokes: 2....saying two slices is an understatement seasoned with 4 miniature pieces of vinegared artichokes....It's the next day and I still have nausea and a rumbling stomach!! Too bad. I'll add, given your response..... first of all, I'm not any of the surnames that you shouldn't have written for privacy reasons. I arrived when there were already people sitting in the restaurant and we weren't rude at all, in fact very accommodating given that the trio advertised on the menu didn't specify that we all had to get the same thing. In any case, it's not a question of price, only of quality.

20/10/2025: Well, it was 3:45 p.m. and we were starving. Everything was closed in Rapallo. And we came across the clipper, wonderful tomato and anchovy bruschetta, risotto and spaghetti carbonara; all homemade and freshly made. With good wine and excellent little tarts. All with Italian music, the real Dolce Vita! Thank you very much!

12/01/2026: Based on traditional Ligurian dishes, the trattoria's cuisine is quite good. The cheese focaccias, in particular, are excellent, and the portions are generous, consisting of five focaccias. The mixed grill and the fritto misto alla paesana (a typical Ligurian dish of fried meat and vegetables, not to be confused with mixed fried fish) are also good. Due to the season, the mushroom dishes are not yet available. The restaurant is a 5-minute drive from the center of Recco, has ample parking for customers, and is reached by a flight of stairs. Prices are affordable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Recommended for those who want to eat well without expecting fancy service or an exclusive location.

22/09/2025: Hotel in a quiet area near the center of Recco. A decent-sized room with all the comforts. A garage is available, but it does have private parking. Recommended.

11/08/2025: I was looking for a bakery for a good focaccia, unfortunately I drove for nothing because it was closed, they went on holiday and didn't update the closure on Google

04/09/2025: I rarely recommend a restaurant based on a single meal, but this is the case. Ora Blu was a pleasant surprise, both for its cuisine, service, and location. We were particularly impressed by the pasta with clams and the mixed grilled fish. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly, preserving the freshness and authentic flavor of the fish. Truly excellent. We felt truly welcomed by the lovely Michela. I highly recommend Ora Blu in San Michele di Pagana, a quaint, colorful, and quiet village between Rapallo and Santa Margherita, where you can also enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Tigullio Gulf and the Riviera!

20/08/2025: Pasta felt low quality. French fries feels also low quality + frozen. The portion of the “large fritto misto” is very small quantity. What would have you given me if I ordered the medium size? Unacceptable food.

31/12/2025: Scammed sandwich, €10 bread, salad and tomato, eaten in the cold underground room kept with doors wide open amidst various astonishments, first and last time

30/12/2025: You can choose from 7 sandwiches; we ordered #5 and #6, and they were delicious! There's no table service.

15/05/2025: Wir gehen vom Hafen 10 Minuten zum Lokal. Neben Pasta und Fleischgerichten werden auch Fischgerichte angeboten. Die Unterhaltung auf Englisch funktioniert prima. Es ist ein kleines Restaurant. Das Essen kann im Lokal oder an ein paar Tischen vor dem Lokal (autofreie Zone) eingenommen werden. Die Bestellung wird am Tisch aufgenommen. Das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal bedient uns unverzüglich und berät uns bei der Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke. Wir wählen eine Prosciutto-/Tomatenplatte als Vorspeise. Dazu einen Roséwein. Als Hauptgericht gibt es Tortellini in einer Pesto-/Nusssoße. Zum Nachtisch gibt Tiramisu und einen Espresso. Alles ist gekonnt zubereitet und schmeckt köstlich. Wir können das Lokal ausdrücklich empfehlen. Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum entspannten Verweilen. Danke an das Personal für den sehr guten Service.

01/05/2025: Tengo celíacos y al llegar al restaurante me informaron inmediatamente que solo usan harina de arroz. Pedí un curso de pescado que era absolutamente delicioso. El pescado estaba perfectamente cocinado. Mi hija, que es vegetariana, también disfrutó mucho de su comida. Además de la buena comida, el servicio también fue excelente.

30/12/2025: If you're looking for authentic flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, this Indian restaurant is a true gem! As soon as you enter, you'll be enveloped by the aromas of spices and a decor that elegantly recalls Indian traditions. I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala: creamy, perfectly spiced, and accompanied by soft, fragrant naan. The lentil dal was perfectly balanced, and the mango lassi was a refreshing delight. The staff is friendly and helpful, ready to explain each dish and recommend pairings. The prices are fair for the quality. I recommend booking, as it's very popular!

15/01/2026: I recommend this bar, which also serves excellent hot and cold dishes. The manager is very kind and treated my wife and I delightfully. If you're passing through Genoa and Piazza della Vittoria, stop by Bar Cosmo.
