We went for lunch. There's no written menu, nor any prices displayed, but
they asked us if we knew what we wanted. We started with the appetizers, which were good and, in our opinion, the best dishes. The first courses weren't excellent; the mushrooms in particular were woody, and the lamb was also too dry. The bill was more expensive than we expected. We had traveled quite far inland. It had been recommended to us, and we had high expectations, so we were a bit disappointed. The owner, on the other hand, is friendly.
An exceptional restaurant in Vessalico, where you can sample a wide variety of dishes (infinite appetizers, tasty first courses, exquisite second courses with side dishes, and exquisite desserts), all homemade and served fresh, with wines, water, and all-you-can-eat drinks. I recommend arriving early (Sunday lunch usually starts at 12:30, allowing for a short break between courses). Expect a total lunchtime of approximately 4-5 hours, spent happily in good company. Reservations are absolutely required to avoid disappointment. For special occasions, such as Christmas and Easter, it's best to book at least 3 months in advance (4 to be extra safe). Payment by card or cash. Kudos to the entire staff; you're always one of a kind!

Typical Ligurian inland restaurant/trattoria, lunch during the week. The atmosphere is welcoming, though a little dated, and the entrance doesn't give you any idea of the explosion of deliciousness, flavors, quality, and quantity that will overwhelm you.
The appetizers were exceptional; it felt like being in Piedmont.
Fixed-price menu.

From the outside, it's an unassuming Ligurian Sunday restaurant with a multi-course menu. All the tables were occupied, some by large families, so it was quite noisy, but that's part of the experience. Almost all the courses were delicious, the house wine was good, and the service was absolutely friendly.
We were completely stuffed by the end! 😄
The price of €45 per person is reasonable.
Reservations are recommended.

You could die at this place...
Abundant food with the option of seconds or thirds... "Grandma's" food with extraordinary flavor.
Everything is so good... so much so that you end up skipping some courses to leave a "deposit" for a set of 5 or 6 whole-wheat desserts that are brought to you.
You're a favorite place, especially some of the dishes, which are fantastic.
Top quantity, top quality
Always special treatment for my dog, Kim.
The only flaw is a restaurant with little signage, an invisible sign, a dive-like entrance, hard to tell if I'm eating there or if you're visiting a private party...
With the right modifications and Google working, you'd need to buy another 5 or 6 houses nearby to accommodate at least 3 busloads of people to enjoy everything.
Last resort... The house wine needs improving... if we can solve this little problem (we'll need to go to a good CANTINA SOCIALE MONFERRINA).
It would be the local landmark; you can't help but be in this food oasis...
If I were the owner, I'd be the terror of all restaurants within a 60km radius... but I'm a dentist.

Buonanotte tutte! Thank you for a lovely experience today with my Italian husband Luigi! After 3 1/2 hours of attempting to eat all of the courses, we had to give up! Unfortunately he missed the tagliatelle, lamb and rabbit! We were not ready to eat so many starters and small plates! Everything was delicious and I took photos of what I could remember to - before we ate it! Thank you also for adjusting to my no pork/beef choices. Your replacements, such as the smoked salmon and cheeses were very much appreciated. 🙏 Grazie ancora!
