An old-school trattoria, one of the right ones, with traditional cuisine prepared as it should be, and very kind and welcoming staff. You can EAT here, gentlemen. I wouldn't recommend it if you're on a diet, but if, like me, you're a "professional" eater, the quality is excellent, so you'll leave satisfied! Highly recommended! P.S. The house wine is excellent, and at the end of the meal, the price is fair, which is always important in my opinion!

We weren't expecting this when we walked into this (seemingly) small restaurant. There's a large garden and a terrace behind the entrance. The food is fabulous, with a family atmosphere. We couldn't decide what to order for our main course, and they offered us several appetizers. Everything was delicious and incredibly fresh 🤌

🍝 What a wonderful discovery this restaurant is! We stumbled upon it almost by accident and left feeling incredibly satisfied. You can really taste the locally sourced ingredients, many of which come straight from their own garden. Everything is incredibly fresh, with generous portions and typical Ligurian dishes prepared just right. We loved the torta verde with fresh trumpet mushrooms from the garden, the stuffed zucchini flowers, the ravioli, and the homemade tagliatelle with a fantastic pesto. And the desserts are incredible! There are so many, and if you ask, they'll bring you a plate with a taste of everything. We've never seen anything like it, and we loved it! The outdoor seating is truly beautiful, surrounded by greenery, and it's a wonderful place to be. Everyone is very kind and friendly. The elderly lady at the cash register, who I think is Maria, was incredibly sweet. She proudly told us about her children and grandchildren, and it was truly a pleasure to chat with her. If you're passing through Vessalico, go there—it's definitely worth it!

We discovered this restaurant in the center of Vessalico, a small village in the Ligurian hinterland. The first impression you get when you enter is of a family atmosphere. We sat in the pleasantly cool courtyard—it's August—and here's the surprise: an incredible array of dishes. We gave the owner free rein, ordering just one appetizer for two. What arrived at our table was practically a wedding reception: the quantity and quality were incredible, with authentic flavors derived only from fresh ingredients. We moved from appetizers to desserts, and the quantity and quality were also fantastic. The wine was good. The staff were friendly. The prices were reasonable.

Don't be fooled by the shabby entrance; immediately afterward, you'll find yourself in a beautiful, well-kept and shaded garden. Don't worry if they don't bring you a menu as soon as you sit down, but rather 12/13 courses of classic, well-made appetizers, fried anchovies, Russian salad, veal with tuna sauce, parmigiana...we chose just one first course and then a coffee affogato. €30 each.

One of the best restaurants in the country side around Albenga. Fully family owned and absolutely delicious

A sublime experience, this unique restaurant offers a variety of dishes, from meat to fish. Everything is cooked to perfection. A winning family-run business!

I can only give it an excellent review! The food was excellent, just like at home, the service was perfect, very helpful and kind. The atmosphere was relaxing. You won't leave this place hungry... in fact, it's easy to give up before you've finished. Congratulations, and we'll definitely be back!

Excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere. The service was prompt and the staff were friendly and helpful. Perhaps a little lacking in attention to the plating, especially for the first and second courses. The appetizers and desserts were truly superb.
